why I can't double click on firefox?

bold text

Hello jhawk50. I specialize in forgotten, simple things. I apologize in advance.

I guess that somewhere in the suggestions very thorough of the cor - el it says try-

Right-click on the icon > on the left, click Open.

Also have you tried an icon in the Start Menu or tried to open it through your list of programs?

Then, you try to start safe mode. Hold down the SHIFT key while you double-click.

  • I can't double click on my downloads when they appear in the download area. I really need to be able to do to things such as Flash Player update.

I am trying to download some things using FF. It appears in the download area, but when I double click top that nothing happens. Please help me with this because I can't make the necessary updates etc. I need to know why I can not download anything.

If downloads are gone, it is possible that Windows deletes the downloads based on security policies defined in Internet Explorer. I realize realize that sounds strange, but it is related to the functionality of Firefox to submit downloads to your virus scanner and marking them as having come from the internet.

To test this theory, you can try to disable the scan function. I assume you have good "real-time" antivirus protection that checks all the files saved on your hard drive. (If not, you should really get that, and you can make free use of Microsoft Microsoft Security Essentials for now until you have time to consider all the options available.)

    (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.

    (2) in the filter box, type or paste the scan and make a pause so that the list is filtered

    (3) double-click browser.download.manager.scanWhenDone to change its value.

Firefox should now ignore download Windows security. Does it change how Windows handles the file?

  • I can't double-click on an image more to wrap properties

I'm fairly new to Eloqua and still working through all the training. Until last week, the way I edited an image for borders and the properties of the envelope was double click the image once it has been placed inside the text box, and a small menu layout of the image emerges. Suddenly last week, double click the image does nothing and I can't understand how to assign properties wrap (so that text is aligned next to a picture rather than below).

The border I can attribute by using the ordinary tools menu. But I can't understand another way to access the properties of the envelope. Any help would be appreciated!

I called Eloqua, and with the new editor in Chief, this function is broken. They are trying to fix now.

  • I want to install Internet Explorer so I can view the web pages I've created, but why I can't install it from Firefox?

I downloaded IE twice, and whenever it says he installed and that I have to restart my PC but there is no sign of IE. Firefox keeps the installation?

I believe that Windows 7 includes Internet Explorer 9 when you get it- or at least Internet Explorer 8. You should just have to download if you want to update, and even in this case, it would be more prudent to go through Windows update.

With respect to the IE icon, it appears in the start menu? If so, you do a right-click and PIN to the taskbar for easy access.

  • Why I can't install Chrome or Firefox on Windows 8?

Whenever I try to install the aforementioned browsers, I am told that the system is unable to complete the installation.

It generates an error code that shows when you click on the 'details' when the installation fails?

Also, I have some suggestions for you to try:

    1. try a custom installation and uncheck the boxes to install toolbars and set Chrome/Firefox as the default browser.  Some toolbars are not yet updated for compatibility with Win 8.

    2. I have not already done, install Adobe Reader, Adobe Shockwave and Adobe Flash.  I know that supposedly compatible equivalents have been integrated to Win 8, but the built-ins appear not to be fully compatible.  If this is your problem and you install first, then download and install Chrome/Firefox, you will be asked if you want to allow the program to access.  Say yes, and I hope that your installation is now completed successfully.

I offer these suggestions because I had no problem with installation of Chrome, but while I did two things that all the above first.

Please let me know if one of these work.
