• Help to replace the heatsink / fan - HPE 360z

  This part has tumbled off the coast of an afternoon. I didn't know big thing, but from what I have studied, we need maintain my cool CPU (I think his name a heat sink). I am very confident, I can replace it, but I don't want to order the wrong part. (See the attached photos below).

  

  

  

  Specifically, I only need the black plastic part that screws into the mortherboard. There is a small plastic latch that came loose (I circled it on the photo). I doubt they sell these individually, then I would be ready to buy a new heatsink if necessary.

• How to enable AMD - V on HPE-360z?

  Hi, I am trying to install a guest for VirtualBox (64 bit) OS, but it won't let me cause of error message below:

  "Hardware acceleration VT-x/AMD-V has been enabled, but is not operational.  Your 64-bit host fails to detect a CPU 64 bit and will not be able to start.

  Please ensure that you have enabled the VT-x/AMD-V correctly in the BIOS of the computer yourhost '.

  When I checked my BIOS, I I don't see any option that activates / deactivates AMD - V.

  Can someone help me?  My system is HP Pavilion HPE-360z.  Processor is AMD Phenom II X 6 1090 t. and BIOS version 6.06 07/24/2010.

  Hi, I just got my HP Pavillion Elite PHE-360z and it works great so far.  My question is that I have two monitors that I would use with the card.  The first monitor is hooked up okay using the DVI connection.  However, the card has also 2 other slots and I don't know what kind of cables go inside.  Looks like it is HDMI and don't know what the other is.  I have a simple cable VGA to my screen else I want to connect to this card, but do not know how to do it.  Any advice would be appreciated!

  The video for the HPE-360z 5570 card has DVI, HDMI and Display Port.  You must also have a VGA to PC adapter.

  A Display Port to VGAshould get the VGA signal to your second monitor.  I have not tried this type of adapter.

  Recently got a HPE-360z handed to nine with a graphics ATI 5570 2G card.

  Using this with a 24 "or 46" 1920 x 1080 HD monitor/TV. Crisp image of lack - pictures are grainy or washed out. Text and video are blurred. Connection of a netbook with an Intel GMA card is better - even at this resolution.

  Also, sometimes waking up from his sleep, switches audio output HDMI for Realtek HD ATI requiring a reboot to fix.

  Uninstall the ATI software and then installing drivers the recent 11.5 with Audio embedded in the BIOS solve the problem.

  If OnBoard Audio is Enabled or Auto, then ATI does not install audio HDMI.

  I have a 2010 HP HPE 360Z with the 3.2 GHZ AMD 6 core processor.    I upgraded my hard drive to a SSD drive to increase the speed of the software. Unfortuantly, the sata on the ALOE GL8E motherboard slot is only sata II where, as I want to speed III sata 6gbs.

  I think about adding a map PCIexpress Hyper Duo of 6 G sata (III) increase to sata III 6 GB data transfer spped.

  Thanks for your input... I added the mini sock and 6Gbs card pci express and past the two hard disks to the new 6 map of Gbs.

  I have Thunderbird installed 28 on a new window machine 8.1 version.

  Instead of plugging on the long black slot which is a video card plug into one of the slots black short. You have Windows 7 I think which means that you will need a driver, but that should come on a CD with the card. Will need you a power connector (molex) on the map, too.
