What should I do? Having been a Mac user for more than a decade, it is quite unacceptable - isn't this one of the main reasons why we all buy Mac, because of their so-called reliability?

    Hello..

Start Safe Mode removes the system caches that can help.

Upper left corner of your screen, click on the Apple  > Shut Down.

After your Mac stops, wait 10 seconds, then press the power button.

As soon as you hear the startup tone, hold down the SHIFT key. You must press the SHIFT key as soon as possible once you hear the startup tone, but not before.

Release the SHIFT key when you see the gray Apple logo and progress indicator.

Once you are in Mode without failure, return to the menu Apple . In the drop-down list, click: reboot

    Hello

Your panic report indicates a "page fault".

In general, page faults are caused by a corruption of the data structures in the core software, hardware RAM or software related issues.

    Try the following:

    (1) repair the hard drive (in disk utility)

    (2) since you have a non-original SSD: If you have enabled FileVault, try disabling it.

    (3) reinstall the OS http://support.apple.com/kb/PH18872

    4) consider in an Apple Store and ask them to test it.

  • MacBook Pro gel when first Pro rendering

    Hello

Not sure if this started because of a recent Media Encoder update or the fact that I went on my hard drive for one SSD model. It seems that now I can use is no longer my Macbook Pro to send e-mail or surf the web when export video in Premiere Pro or a pending Media Encoder. When the export is in progress, the use of the CPU on my Macbook is very low, yet I can't use anything else. Once the encoding stops, all is well again. Export preset I use is the same H:264 as source high bitrate. My support of source and my ways of output are both on an external drive of Thunderbolt. Any ideas on what is the cause?

    Hi Keith Lee,

The problem of the decline in Performance has been reported with AMD RADEON HD 6770 M graphics card and we are working on a fix. In addition, the solution is to use only software Mercury playback engine. You can also try to make a personalized sequence to make a custom sequence please follow the steps mentioned below.

Go to the sequence > sequence settings

As a custom in modification Mode change

Preview of a file format QucikTime and Prores 422 Codec or animation and check the performance.

    Kind regards

  • monitors external macOS Sierra + MacBook Pro 15 "+ 3 = gel

This facility has worked with El Capitan (2 Thunderbolts-> DisplayPort + HDMI 1 = 3 monitors).

Update of macOS Sierra - as soon as I connect a 3rd monitor (any order) - it freezes the whole system. Two monitors works very well

If I boot with three monitors connected, the screen goes black and I have to power down manually.

My system: MacBook Pro (retina, 15 inches, end of 2013)

Same problem reported by other users on SuperUser.com.

Someone else had a similar problem? Everyone is running the same configuration without problem? All known resolution?

There has been a lot of complaints of not being able to use the resolution full screen on 3 monitors of party, who has worked in El Capitan.  I've seen all the problems such as you report.

However, I guess the graphics driver passed under changes in the Sierra, and it is possible, that this is yet another side effect.

You may very well be a bug, so that developers know that there is still another problem with the graphics driver Sierra

  • MacBook Pro (13-INCH, late 2011) constantly gel

My Macbook Pro, (2.4 GHz Intel Core i5 with 4 GB 1333 MHZ DDR3) recently started to freeze with a command or a simple task that I try to do. I've updated to the latest version of OS X El 10.11.5 captain who was available for me in the last week or so, but the problem started before that would go far so I thought that maybe if I've updated what the problem was. There is, of course, no. I tried to clean my computer for more disk space (I currently have 50 GB) but it's really frustrating when it freezes every second I'm removing something or download something.

At startup, it takes time for it usually loads. I'll connect and 3 out of 4 times, it freezes when I type my password then unfreezes when it connects. It takes forever to load. I already checked the system preferences for startup and connection applications. There are not.

I open safari (or any other application) and it will take awhile, freeze, show me the beachball cursor and then open minutes later. I go and type on safari, it freezes again. I can't do it through any simple task without it freezing constantly. I DO NOT download anything off the internet, nor do I even all bookmarks or whatever it be backed up on Safari. I even tried to reset those already with a recommendation of a Web site. Safari is not the only application that freezes like this or the other. My Photos App will similarly, freezes my finder and it will take 10-15 minutes to open a folder with a single point inside. Each. Unique. Request.

Also, I got a notification saying "adobe script can not finish running and can slow down your computer" or something similar to this, you still want to run or quit smoking. I have leave of course and then check to see that the adobe script was running. He was not one, or anywhere to even stop it.

I don't know if my battery has nothing to do with it either. My Macbook currently drains the battery in less than an hour if is not plugged.

I looked to the top of the console with a recommendation out of a Web site, for example, I don't know what I'm looking for, either. I try to scroll (even if it freezes when I do) to see if there are errors, I know the hand but honestly, I don't know. I also tried the repair utility disk, however, who failed because whenever I try to do so that it freezes and is in fact frozen where it not same process and try to break free.

I looked at the RAM, but also don't know what I'm looking for here either.

OH, finally I tried running Safe Boot, but it's just too slow.

Unfortunately I can't take it into an apple store since I live about 8 hours away we and hoped someone could help me to solve the problems. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I am available for questions as well.

Download and run EtreCheck, created by one of his own assistants here in CSA. It is a diagnostic tool that is very useful for us to find problems. It will also give us additional specifications on your Mac. After his execution after the logfile here. It will never contain any personal information.

I had problems with my 13 inch retina Macbook pro (bought in March 2015, Yosemite running) for a few months. Just before Christmas, he had massive 'kernel panic' mistakes off and turns not again. Envoy than inside and they replaced the logic board. Everything is OK until last week, during navigation, laptop has frozen and closed. When the computer reboots, the apple symbol appears but boot would not end. Sent him again, and he must have the replaced SSD (it wouldn't remove to do a delete/reinstall of the operating system). Since then, it froze and shut down twice. The last time, on reboot, I got an error message saying that it had put back on after an error. The error log is below. Any idea what the problem might be? Another hardware problem? Waiting for him in a way catastrophic crash is still ruin my productivity! Thanks in advance!

You may be dealing with a hardware failure, but even if so, you must get rid of the 'Sophos '.

Please remove the Sophos product by following the instructions on this page, so this one, if any. If you have a different version, the procedure may be different.

Back up all data before making any changes. Never install a software "anti-virus" or "anti-malware" again.

  • MacBook Pro (2014) Apps gel

Laptop bought in 2014, but barely used until recently. Trouble with apps from freezing. Duty to force quit mail, preview, browser, etc and restart several times a day. Ran disk utility and no problems have been reported there. Don't know what other diagnosis I can run.

Work on a 15 "MacBook Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.2).

Because it's a used machine you need to completely repartition the drive and reinstall your software and the OS X system from scratch.

Install OS X using the recovery network

Make sure that you have backed up your files because the following procedure will remove all of the hard drive.

Start on the recovery of the network server:

Restart the computer after the ring, press in and hold the COMMAND + OPTION + R keys until a globe appears on the screen. Wait patiently - 15 - 20 minutes - until the main recovery menu appears.

Partition and format the hard disk:

    1. Select in the main menu disk utility and click on the continue button.
    2. After load of THE select your newly installed hard drive (this is the entrance Out-dented with the mfgr.) ID and size) in the list on the left. Click the Partition tab in the main window of THE.
    3. Under the scheme of titled Volume set the number of partitions in the menu drop-down one. Click the Options button, set the GUID partition scheme, and then click the OK button. Set the type of Mac OS extended (journaled) format. Click on the apply button and wait until the process is complete. To leave and return to the main menu.

Reinstall OS X: Select reinstall OS X and click on the continue button. Be sure to select the correct drive to use if you have more than one.

Note : You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest to use Ethernet if possible because it's three times faster than wireless.

This should restore the version of OS X, originally installed on the computer. You can restore your software by installing only the software you have purchased. You may not use the software for the previous owner.

  • MacBook Pro 15 '' mouse freeze on start

I have a 2015 mid Macbook Pro 15 "retina with OSX El Capitan 10.11.5. These days the cursor has been slow to come back to life after coming out of sleep mode. It has now begun to gel. The keyboard still works and if a file is put highlight the trackpad accepts a click, but the cursor stays frozen. After a difficult start the slider runs for about 30 seconds, but then crashes again. I don't have Fusion or any other AV software

Is there any solution for this? I'm a basic user and don't know my way around the error of research methods. Looking forward to some help... Thank you.

.. Step by step to fix your Mac

  • 10.11.5 crashes completely after you disable wifi on old Macbook Pro

My Macbook Pro 17 "(fin 2007) installed 10.11.5 without problems." Ran smooth and fast, and then frozen after turning off wifi. System tried to reboot itself. Could not restart, crashes when starting upwards. Had to do a clean install. Unfortunately I turned off wifi once more after re-install-same problem. Another gel, the system does not restart, no matter what I tried. No keyboard shortcut works, only cmd R gives an option to re - install the entire system. Does anyone else have this problem after turning off wifi?

I would either reinstall El Capitan report to the current system or erase the drive altogether and install a new copy of the El Capitan. Implies that it is not a hardware problem. You did check works hardware - run a hardware test or check the system information to determine if the Wi - Fi card work.
