HTML5 and css3 your thoughts please!

As July 4, I have that I would like to ask a question that has nothing to do with dreamweaver or coding problems.
Two years ago, I posted this thread - http://forums.adobe.com/thread/457240, about html5/css3, and most people thought that it was too early to adopt these technologies with the exception of the "rapid adoption" test sites.
While everyone thinks now that two years have passed?
- Are they still considered too new?
- Using html5 and css3 in your websites?
- Is "progressive enhancement" or "graceful degradation" now a part of your design/coding strategy during their use?
- Anyone using or experimenting with the 'new' features such as css3 or svg online flex-box templates?
- IE6/7 still part of your design philosophy "it must look the same in all browsers" or ignore you now these browsers?
Your thoughts and opinions, (not insults please) would be welcome, and if you have a question on how to use them the Please do it in a separate thread. If nothing prevents you using html5/css3, then also say what it is.
There is no good answer but, (5) points will be awarded for 2 discussions best, because if someone takes time and thought to post a response, then some sort of reward should be available, (I consider a bottle of wine, but).

The situation has changed radically over the past two years. Not only browsers are implementing many new features, but also there was a major change in the way people access the internet. Mobile access to the web is growing and not only in industrialized countries. Therefore, Web designers need to rethink the way they build Web sites. Another important change is that the W3C has accelerated the approval process for HTML5. Specifications of project is already at the latest state of the call, and the plan is to be approved by 2014.
The important thing about HTML5 is that it was designed to be backward compatible. Just change your doctype and - as long as your code is valid - it already is HTML5. I think it is probably too early to start using the new elements semantic, such as
Perhaps the most important feature of CSS3 is questions from the media. Although they are not supported by IE 6-8, you can work around this by creating basic models that are used by all browsers and use media queries to set styles for devices of different size. If necessary, you can also use an IE conditional comment to serve additional styles for IE 6-8.

The update to adobe in my master suite cs4 is not up-to-date. for months, I thought that there is no update, but I see now it is / was an extension for html5 and css3 for dw cs4. Ive been to several places and followed the links that others were sure would fix the other guys out but in vain. How can I get this extension?
I believe that the extension has been removed when CS6 is released in 2012.
You can use the HTML5 tags in Code view, but CS3 and 4 have no support for HTML5 code hinting or semi-automatic.
You can switch to Editor open source code Adobe, media, which has full HTML5 code indicators and semi-automatic support. I often keep DW and open media by-side.

Is there an update or the plugin that allows Dreamweaver 8 to create website in HTML5 and CSS3?
DW8 as I, only creates templates, etc, in HTML4. Is there an update or a plugin that allows to create in HTML5 and CSS3?
DW8 is powerful long in the tooth. Although there may be an update out there (3 rd-party, not Adobe) that allow you to start a new page with a doctype HTML5, I'm sure there is not an update that would also add support for HTML5 tags. The whole approach of DW has changed pretty significantly since DW8 - your best bet would be to get a subscription to the CC and start using CS6 (this and future versions of DW will require you to be somewhat familiar with the HTML and CSS).

All the HTML5 and CSS3 specifications are implemented by FIrefox? If this is not the case, what is the level of support for this specification is implemented? Also if no, is supported in near future?

How to change a large number of images using CSS in HTML5 and CSS3
I have a CSS image gallery that displays a larger picture with descriptive text underneath, a thumbnail image is hovered over.
Each photo has code like the following:

The first source is an image thumbnail, stored at a size of 72 by 48.
The second source is an image stored at 600 x 400.
When the thunbnail is hovered on, enlarge the photo is displayed to its size using css.
There are 20 or if thumbnails in this gallery and different numbers in the other galleries that use the same code.
The above example is number 19 of 20.
This works very well on tablets and large screens.
When I want to show it on an Iphone or similar, with a screen that is 480 or less wide, I need to enlarge it up to 300 large scale.
The Iphone will have a lower quality of the image to a larger screen, it won't matter too much if photography 600 x 400 is reduced, and after having tried giving him an ID with CSS as
#imagescale {width: 300px ;} seems acceptable.} However, as the ID is supposed to be unique, then it's a no go area for the remaining photos.
My problem is how can I select the second source of the image shown in bold above and scale it and reach of 50% text.
The text is not too important because it can be modified to fit - the image is the main problem.
I need something like "If the display is less than 600 and the image is located in the directory of photos, it shows 300 offshore."

You'll need subscription to pack Adobe PDF or the Acrobat application to convert PDF to PPT.

Please help... We must believe the error message telling you that your hard drive is about to fail. If you are not technically proficient, take the machine to a local computer technician who will try to back up your data and then replace the hard drive. Do not use a type of BigComputerStore/GeekSquad of the place. Otherwise, you may be able to get the data saved by one of the methods below and replace the hard drive yourself.
1 remove the drive and put it in a box of USB drive or use a USB adapter. Attach it to a computer that is running a working XP/Vista/Windows7 installation. Use the work of Windows Explorer to copy the data to the hard drive of the system to the rescue and burn data on cd or dvd. I prefer not to do it if I know the drive is infected because he has a chance to infect your host system. In these cases, I use #2 below.

Adobe Muse and creative cloud help please.
I'm having a terrible time using the files. Trying to understand this so much time. During the day I work on my website in adobe muse and save on creative cloud on my MacBook pro, in the night, I use a PC at home, I open the Clloud Creative files and all images etc. have warnings of re - link everything. Next day on PC I do same and same thing. I have files of site (all properties) stored on a hard drive of removebale, on Mac and PC and CC. Please help me with a surefire way to get it, I think it's the problem of the root or folder? I tried saving funds of all files on both platforms as well and the same thing. I just works perfectly on my PC and Mac site. Finally, CC stores only assets only? Cause I re-paired everything creative cloud too and everything went wrong on the other computer. You will be able to use and edit your Muse file, even if you don't re - not link assets.
It's just that you won't be able to change these assets, so you can redo the link assets whenever you need to make changes to the active files.
Every time you switch machines, please save the latest version of your Muse file on a local disk and then use it. Using a .muse file saved on a cloud, or removable hard drive can cause problems.
Also, I suggest you save a copy of all the files of components in a single folder (a local location, not the cloud or the removable hard drive); so, when Muse invite you to re - link assets, you can add a link to one of these files, and Muse will look in that folder for all your other missing links.
