HTTP bookmarks link how?

Hello

I need some of my favorites send to a friend. So I thought it might be handy to * link * them on a word document. But the big question now how such a link! If you know how do I surely appreciate it!

Thank you

Thomas

Hello thomas, you can click on a bookmark or a folder of bookmarks in firefox and select copy - then you can paste this content into a word document (by pressing ctrl + v).

Is there bookmarks in the bookmarks toolbar?

Make sure the toolbars as the 'personal bar' are visible.

    • Firefox '3-bar' menu button > customize > show/hide toolbars
    • View > toolbars
Press the ALT key, or press F10 to display the Menu bar
    • Right click on empty toolbar space

Open the Customize and set the toolbar to display items.

    • Firefox '3-bar' menu button > customize
    • Make sure the "bookmarks toolbar items" are on the personal bar
    • If "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is not on the bookmarks toolbar, then FRY it in the palette to customize the window customize to the bookmarks toolbar
    • If the missing elements are in the palette to customize then drag them back into the window to customize the toolbar
    • If you don't see an article on a toolbar and in the palette to customize, then click on the reset default button to restore the default toolbar configuration

Among the Favorites of standard Web sites registered on my IE toolbar, I have several of my own making html documents/pages. These start obviously by a non-http address.

Include pages that contain an array of webcams on one page or a page that opens several sports venues each in their own tab, or strip of video covering windows live tabs stormchasing chase, weather radar, scanners of emergency etc etc.

An address would take the format on the lines of
    'C:\Documents and Settings\All Documents\Football results and Tables\UK.html'

Firefox insists on adding "http" before the C:\ (and unlike IE, it also adds the %20 for space.)

Can someone help get FF to accept a favorite that is not a Web site.

It's ok I just solved it me, waived the need to type %20 for each space.

Need to add before c: the following

    file:\\\

    So a sample address

    file:\\\C:\Documents and Settings\All Documents\Football results and Tables\UK.html

  • my old account synchronization does not work on 'forgot my password link', how can I recover my account?

    Hello
2 minutes ago I reset my fire Fox, because I had a few Add-ons unnecessary on my fire Fox, before rebooting, I had my sync on fire fox 34 v. account after reset now I can't use my account because I forgot my password, I used this link : https://account.services.mozilla.com/forgot to retrieve my password but to pop every time this error: "unable to locate your account. Please check your user name.
so, how can I recover my password?

more info: I used my email inbox to find my account name and password, I found a subject of the e-mail: "Verify your account" I clicked on [Verify] and fire fox sent to this address: [email protected], > > please confirm your firefox help question!
[click here to check your e-mail] after clicking on I visited the link, arises in fact!

    What do?

Please help me I have so many important saved passwords and history on my latest data.

    Thank you very much.

"before the reset, I had my account for synchronization on fire fox 34 v."

Why do you use Firefox 15.0 now? It uses an older version of Sync - 29 Firefox and later versions use a different, more recent synchronization version that uses another type of account - https://accounts.firefox.com/signup
The old and the new version are not compatible with each other. Users can update one account of synchronization for the new version, but there is no way to "go back"; as it appears, you can try to do it with this old version of Firefox 15.

In addition, you absolutely need your password, without it you can not connect on Sync and if you happen to change your password - your data is erased from the sync server. The password is used for data encryption method. Without the password entered, data is useless - no way to decrypt your data when it is retrieved from the server.

Upgrade to Firefox 35 mentioned guigs2 and try to open a session for synchronization through this version. Forget about 'update' from your account. If you were using Firefox 34 before, you already have the new account Sync. But you better have your password, because if you "reset" this account with a new password to your data will be gone.

  • You want to know why the icons displayed for only some bookmarks and how to replace the rectangle with an icon dotted valid in these cases.

As explained in the question, some of the icons for sites appear only as a dotted rectangle. There are several favorites that have been imported from a html file and some of them have no icon showing on the list of bookmark or toolbar for Firefox, but they did it on the original browser where they wre imported. As a general rule, the icons 'fills' when each of the imported sites are visited some do not no matter how many times visited.

I checked to make sure that the fonts and colors are chosen by the site server, so this isn't the problem.

Although it is a function a little cosmetic (navigation works fine, just no icons), the icons site much faster recognition visually, making the browser it much faster and easier on the eye.

Any help to fix this would be greatly appreciated for a user of Firefox "second-time-around."

Opening in the sidebar is the default value for the bookmarks created via a link or a button on a Web site.

You can view the properties of a bookmark using the context menu in the side bar (Ctrl + B; Command + B on Mac).

In the Bookmark Manager (Bookmarks > show all bookmarks) you can click on the button more in the lower details pane on the right.

Make sure "Load this bookmark in the sidebar" is not selected.

How can I configure my email to receive images in the email instead of links?

    Hello

1 are you facing this problem when you use Internet Explorer?

    2. What mail client do you use?

Method 1:  Verify that the show pictures option has not been off.

If the option to show images in Internet Explorer is turned off, you can not see pictures. To determine if the show pictures option is disabled, follow these steps:

    a. open Internet Explorer.

    b. on the Tools menu, click Internet Options.

    c. click on the Advanced tab and verify that the show pictures check box is selected under multimedia.

    d. click OK.

    e. determine if you can now see the pictures.

If you still don't see images, try the other steps mentioned in the article:

Images are not displayed on Web sites in Internet Explorer:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/283807

Method 2: If the method above does not help, I suggest you to reset IE8.
