HTTPS/portfolio ora-28759: file open failed

HI - just check if someone managed to get utl_http appeal successfully to a secure site, on 10g R2 Windows, as I hit something of a wall of brick with it.

I followed the steps described in this article:
http://www.idevelopment.info/data/Oracle/DBA_tips/PL_SQL/PLSQL_19.shtml

In summary, I
-Downloaded the certificates of my target site.
-in Portfolio Manager, imported the trust Certs to add to a portfolio
-registered portfolio, confirmed the file ewallet.p12 is created.
-added set_wallet to my code line, triple check the password is correct.

But when I run the code, I can't go past this error:
declare
w clob;
begin
  utl_http.set_wallet('file:c:\wallet', 'wallet123');
  w:=utl_http.request('https://xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.asmx');
  dbms_output.put_line(w);
end;
ORA-29273: HTTP request failed
ORA-06512: at "SYS.UTL_HTTP", line 1577
ORA-28759: failure to open file
ORA-06512: at line 5
The user I run the code that can access the c:\wallet folder, I created a directory and a write file.

some research on Google, I tried also affecting the Auto Login portfolio in owm, which creates a cwallet.sso file in the ED. portfolio does not the problem, with or without the password setting.

I saw also refers to the addition of the portfolio to the sqlnet.ora file location, but could not find a definitive answer to the question of whether this is necessary.

Everyone has hit this error and by chance found a solution?

Thanks in advance.

Hello
Portfolio Manager to set permissions on files, so they can only be read by the user who created them. Change the permissions or copy the files to another location. And select the new location in your "set_wallet".

    What I have: Red Hat 6 Server, remote Oracle database with the configuration of the TCPS connection, installed client instant oracle (basic, odbc, sqlplus) of RPM.

    I'm trying to implement the instant oracle on linux client to connect to a remote database (mb for windows).
    When you enter the command:

    /usr/lib/oracle/11.2/client64/bin/sqlplus /@AVAYAPDSDB

    I get the error:

    Unfortunately I have no nearby engineers who can help me to solve this problem, so I really hope in the community of the fireplace.

    Googling for some and research that can help me with everything that I realized that it is followed by the sqlplus request would be a good starting point.

    PLEEEEASE! anyone! I see that only one .so file is missing. I can't find anything on the same trouble anywhere, perhaps with other .so files and the recommendations should make symbolic links as follows:

    / usr/sbin/semanage fcontext - a-t - textrel_shlib_t $ORACLE_HOME/lib/libnque11.so

    but the system write that I don't "semanage. Any suggestion would be so appreciated!

    DIAG_ADR_ENABLED = OFF

    There are 2 problems that I was fighting with. First was that the url of the portfolio was pointing to the directory level 1 above than where my files were placed, and second, I used a short connection syntax.
    I was with this:

    # /usr/lib/oracle/11.2/client64/bin/sqlplus /@AVAYAPDSDB

    And success seems to be that:

    # /usr/lib/oracle/11.2/client64/bin/sqlplus login/password@AVAYAPDSDB

    * Hope that all this can be useful for someone. The main advice from me to anyone who would be facing similar questions *: * turn followed customer! **

    Good luck!

    Hi Robrw,

    1. when exactly you receive this error?

    2. don't you make changes to the computer before this problem?

    You can try to rename the catroot2 folder and check if it helps.

    Step 1:

    a. Click Start and in run type C:\windows\system32 and click ok

    b. find the Catroot2 folder. Right-click on Catroot2 and rename it to Catroot2.old

    If you are not able to do the normal mode, try to start in safe mode and rename

    Check out the link for more information on starting your computer in SafeMode below:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/315222

    Step 2:

    If you are unable to access the catroot2 folder, and then try to change the permissions on the files and check if it helps.

    See the following article:

    How to capture a file or a folder in Windows XP

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/308421

    Step 3:

    You can also try to temporarily disable third-party security software and firewalls and check what is happening.

    Note: Activate the security software after the resolution of the problem.

    Hope this information is useful.

  • ORA-22288: file or LOB FILEOPEN operation failed

    Hello

    I am developing a small function to extract a file from the file system and return it as a BLOB. I created and Oracle Directory (CREATE or REPLACE DIRECTORY GRMS_TMP AS ' / tmp';) and gave the public access to this directory.

    Below the code and output... am I missing something?

    Thank you very much, Pier Paolo.

    Function FAOGETFILE (p_FileName Varchar2)

    Return of the Blob

    v_OutBlob BLOB;

    v_FileSrc BFILE.

    Begin

    v_FileSrc: = BFILENAME ('GRMS_TMP', p_FileName);

    -Insert data into the Table

    Insert the FAO. FAO_GRMS_WS_BLOB

    Values (FAO. FAO_GRMS_WS_BLOB_S.NextVal, p_FileName Empty_Blob(), Sysdate)

    Return BLOB_DATA in v_OutBlob;

    DBMS_OUTPUT. PUT_LINE('SYS.) DBMS_LOB. FILEEXISTS (v_FileSrc) '. SYS. DBMS_LOB. FILEEXISTS (v_FileSrc));

    -Open the file

    DBMS_LOB. FileOpen (v_FileSrc, DBMS_LOB. LOB_READONLY);

    -File loading

    DBMS_LOB. LOADFROMFILE (DEST_LOB = > v_OutBlob,)

    SRC_LOB = > v_FileSrc,

    AMOUNT = > DBMS_LOB.getLength (v_FileSrc));

    -Closing file

    DBMS_LOB. Close (v_FileSrc);

    Return v_OutBlob;

    End FAOGETFILE;

    On the file system, I have all rights/privileges to access the file:

    File:

    drwxrwxrwt 38 root root 270336 16 Feb 10:32 tmp

    File:

    -rwxrwxrwx 1 Xxxuser 42 16 Feb 10:14 temp.txt dev

    When I run the service I get the following:

    Error report-

    ORA-22288: file or LOB FILEOPEN operation failed

    No such file or directory

    Output: SYS. DBMS_LOB. FILEEXISTS (v_FileSrc) 0

    In addition to the suggestion of Hoek - / tmp is on the server database, no?

  • Test system update fails on ORA-01113: file 1 needs media recovery

    I use Oracle 9.2.0.6 on HP - UX (B.11.11)

    I'm refreshing to a test of production on the same server system.

    The update fails on...

    ALTER DATABASE OPEN RESETLOGS;
    ORA-01113: file 1 needs media recovery
    ORA-01110: data file 1: ' / elltest/system/system_01.dbf'

    I do mainly:
    -Place prod tablespaces in backup mode
    -Copy the files from production to test directories
    -Take prod tablespaces out of backup mode
    -pass the prod (once for each newspaper group) log files
    -copy files from archive prod to test

    STARTUP NOMOUNT

    Create control file from a copy of the prod trace file
    (CREATE CONTROLFILE REUSE SET DATABASE 'ELLTEST' RESETLOGS ARCHIVELOG)
    It works

    RECOVER DATABASE USING BACKUP CONTROLFILE
    -J' I grab the last log archive copied during production.

    ALTER DATABASE OPEN RESETLOGS;
    ERROR on line 1:
    ORA-01113: file 1 needs media recovery
    ORA-01110: data file 1: ' / elltest/system/system_01.dbf'

    I think I have I have all required log archiving prod?

    Any advice?

    What you're trying to do is an incomplete recovery of the database. Since the redo logs are not used in your recovery you must explicitly specify the time to stop. If you do not process assumes a complete recovery and will require a request for reinstatement of online recovery log data that you do not.
    You can use UNDO based recovery with
    RECOVER DATABASE UNTIL CANCEL USING BACKUP CONTROL FILE;
    then type CANCEL after the last active log has been applied.
    Open with option RESETLOG database. It should work.

  • PS opens files but fails to display

    Hello! Ive already did some searching but can't find anyone else with my problem.

    IM using vista x 64 and PS CS4 (updated). the problem occurs on 32-bit and 64-bit versions.

    When I open an image with the PS (no matter what type or what sense to open it), PS seems the file opens correctly, but does not display it.

    everything looks like the image is open (Te little inch of it in the layers window) and the name of it in the title bar, but where the image should be displayed in fullsize you will see that the gray background of PS.

    It seems that this PS works completely fine. f.e. When I use the paint bucket tool on the grey area in the Middle, the thumb layer change to color...

    another weird thing: when I go to another program and come back to PS the gray background disappeared and instead you see some program is under PS right now... you can move the PS window and see right trough it, only the control of the PS windows are always displayed. That's what you see in the picture as an attachment: there is no screenshot of my Explorer loaded in PS, it must be a picture of keira knightley.

    so far, I already tried to remove the PS settings and reinstall PS but it won't help.

    any help would be much appreciated!

    Thanks in advance!

    Post edited by: flair2k [edit] the problem occurred suddenly. PS before everything worked fine. I have all new gfx drivers installed.

    Looks like an OpenGL problem, go to Edition-> Preferences-> Performance disable OpenGL drawing and then relaunch Photoshop, if this does not help then reactivate it.

    do not use the option to attach files to download the photos as it is buggy right now, add them using the camera icon

  • Re: Satellite A300 (PSAJ4E) - Webcam driver open fail

    I had to replace the hard drive on my PSAJ4E of the A300 and when I reloaded Vista 32 and install all drivers hardware Toshiba everything went well except for a Chicony webcam.

    The side menu is there but it won't work, giving a "driver webcam open fail." "Please restart camera or computer" error.

    I updated the Bios to 4.20
    I first used the original Toshiba, the 20080428125023 webcam driver download (V1.07.175).
    I tried with 'closed the cover 3/4 '.
    I have searched and read dozens of similar problems. I've tried a few, even edit the ini setting. Nothing helps.
    I even tried drivers XP (V1.7.144.0611), 32-bit and 64-bit versions and even a driver from the gateway. Nothing seems to work for this cam.

    What now?

    I also now get "the requested section is not found in the INF file" when I try to uninstall and reinstall the driver through Device Manager.
    I have the choice of
    6.198.1.0
    6.2.208.424
    6.2.238.1217
    all give the same error...

    Hey,.

    The reason why the first answers referred you to the connection-related posts is because this seems to be where the problem usually.

    How can I get out of this confusion?

    Looks like your scene preclone directory is not correct (corrupted), and I think that it is because preclone does not run successfully.

    Either you follow the steps described in the following notes to change the existing to a new undo tablespace or run preclone and copy the files again.

    HI rinat_1,

    Your Satellite A300 has been bundled with Windows XP? If not, try it with settings of factors once again, please!

    Also make sure that your BIOS version is the most recent and you can get it here:
