• Several project files based on a project update

  
  I have several projects, one for each application in the same domain.
  
  Some of these books share the information. I would like to have a central project where I have information shared in all (or part) of the projects and update automatically in all other projects. Is this possible?

  There is no way to automatically update the other projects with the modified Exchange project. If you use merged projects, you could merge the central project in the Table of contents of the other project. However this option stores a local copy of the central project in the luggage project folder. If the central project is changed, you will need to add the CHM changed in the baggage files folder.

  I've been updating old iMovie do these automatically up-to-date movies in iTunes?

  You don't have to update the iMovie projects that need to be edited in the future versions of iMovie.  Shared once the project becomes a simple video file which requires no updates.  iTunes has only these shared files.

  The first has never been backward compatible.

  General advice since always never update while on an important project (especially with a deadline)

  I always keep their projects and the first versions on my computer.

• Captivate 5 Does not record the title of the project update

  The following problem appears to be true for all projects that are based on a template, but I'll give you just one example:

  I have a template that already has a value entered into the 'Title' field of the dialog box post. (The value is Model Quiz).

  When I create a new project based on the template, and then open the dialog box post, the title of the project is first 'Quiz Template. I then change the title to that which is suitable for the actual project and publish and save and close the project. However, next time I reopen the project to publish it, the title returned to Model of Quiz.

  Is there a way to Captivate store the title of the update, so I do not remember to correct every time me republish the project?

  The important part of the trick is that you have to save under a different name in a different folder, and then publish your project with the new title.

  Then you can register under the name of the original file in the original folder (overwrite the original file) and your title should stay as you want.

  Save as in the same folder that the original does not usually change.

• Project updates RoboHelp 8.0 - 'About' toolbar button is no longer visible

  I've recently updated to RoboHelp 6.0 to 8.0 of RoboHelp. In my current project, I have a button 'About' that is usually folded in the section too to the right of the toolbar. Now in its place when I compile the help is a search box.

  I checked the skin and everything seems OK. I even tried to create a new skin from scratch, but nothing helped.

  Any suggestions?

  I assume you are using WebHelp.

  In the generation dialog box, check Add on the box and uncheck the input field of search in the toolbar.

• UPDATE to work cant on my projects again and Cascade GOLD...

  I will update to the QNX Momentic IDE (GOLD)... because I can not work again on my projects, I get the following error:

  Yes! That's what I did eventually, and I also installed the new version on another folder in my C: / / drive, because when I tried to install on the previous record, it shows only the C++ version and nothing on BlackBerry stunts!

• Missing project after the update

  Hi everyone, my big schock currently, after a first Pro CC, my current project update is here more. I have a lot of the registered version of 17.12.14, but after loading a of these version I see allmost an empty project! Many hours of work... a

  Some has an idea, how can I get support the project with all the pictures - movies - audio - text etc.  I'm cracy :-(

  Hello Ann, Hello world, this afternoon was my problem with my project resolved "thanks God". I wanted to thank you for your efforts.

  The solution: a good friend of mine, it's almost a professional relationship with Premiere Pro came back from vacation and I was able to describe the problem him briefly.

  Via TeamViewer he could buckle on my PC and analyse the problem shortly. In the timeline, he placed the mouse on the track remains my view of current work and with double click short, it has enabled my missing window.

  Now, everything is as it should be, and I can work again on my project!

  My mistake - I unconsciously brought my status window cut - when I was copying some data it active my window I put it (did not know how?)  in a State of nesting, that is the reason why I could see only two channels

  with video & sound. I didn't know that you can restore the original state just double click on one of these titles. This is useful for larger projects together simple sequences.

  I hope that I was able to describe the problem with my English that you understand what happen.
  At least, I'm glad that my normal workspace is back.

• Projects oneself after last CC Pro first update. How to revert to the previous version?

  Im running windows 7 with two k5000 quatro cards. I have not had any problems before update. I can reverse updates? I'm in the middle of three projects. Help

  We receive questions where the PSI screen is reflecting incorrect values.
  
  We found that running this solved the problem, each time by entering the number of the specific project in question:
  
  PRC: Refresh the summary amounts of project @ 12:04
  PRC: Update the amounts summary of transactions @ 12:16
  PRC: update project summary amounts for a single project @ 12:17
  PRC: Refresh the summary amounts of project @ 12:18
  
  Eventually the screen PSI set to date.
  
  I just tried again on another instance of test, but this time only ran:
  
  PRC: update project summary amounts - no output, PSI not updated
  PRC: Refresh the project summary amounts - out of the confirmed updates had taken place, and PSI screen updated.
  
  Therefore, I was wondering if we plan on a regular basis the work of the "people's Republic of CHINA: Refresh Project summary amounts" to run each night, for all projects, to ensure PSI screen is updated?

  We only run every night the CPP process: amounts of summary of project update, for all projects. This process know to only add additional transactions added since new or updated commitments to date of last run and the only process.
  This process is planned after completing all the costing process.

  The process - people's Republic of CHINA: Refresh Project summary amounts - actually built from scratch the synthesis of all transactions and commitments. Therefore, this process can take more and more time to complete project data increases. You should perform this process once after the migration of data from an existing system, or if you have found a problem with the course summary. Remark that could arise from changes you can make with periods of declaration put in place not in the right order (period after period, never go back).

• VI to determine the name of the project

  For a real-time application, I wanted to determine, at runtime, the name of the project in which the VI has been "content".  I wanted to get the name of the project (even) under four different conditions:

  • on the host, in development mode
  • on the host, in Run-Time mode (i.e. after being built as an executable)
  • on the goal of RT, development mode
  • on the aim of RT, in run mode.

  It is not so easy.  I figured out how to make the first two (use the name property of the active project development and use the next last folder directory of the Application in Run-Time mode mode), but I'm having trouble to get this information to get the target RT code.  Has anyone tried this before?  Did you?  Advice (or even downright Solutions)?

  Well, I figured out, but it's not pretty.  In the previous post, I explained why I wanted to do - here I will explain how I did this.

  There are three main modes, under which Applications can run: development mode (when you are programming in LabVIEW and press the button "Run"), Run Time System (an executable on a PC) and Embedded (code that runs on a target in real time, in the form of executable file or development).  Of these, only one mode of development gives you access live (via the Application, the active project property) in the name of the project file.  My goal is to have the user interface and the RT 'chunks' of the project in real time have access on behalf of the project, the system I'll create will use same code on two subsystems, meaning that it will run on the PC at least once in the mode of development .

  The key step is to create a 'constant VI', I'll call CONST name of the project, which consists of a single indicator of string, name of the project, which "held" the name of the project.  I initially thought to use a Global Variable, but there is a technical problem with that I will mention later.  I didn't use CONST name of the project directly, but, instead, use a 'Get the project name' VI that has, for its single release, the name of the project.

  This VI, when it runs, determines the type of request under which it is running.  If it is something other than the Mode of development, he calls CONST project name and returns its value.  If this is the Mode of development, it gets the name of the project, he returned, but just before leaving, he arranges to be updated programmatically CONST project name when it is called in the future, it will return the name of the project (update).  [Then why not simply initialize CONST project name?  I'm looking for a "generic" solution that will always return the correct value, even if I move to another project and don't remember about the change and change - all I have to do to make it work is to run once in the mode of development.  Who has ever developing code without testing before making the executable?].

  I wrote a VI gave the name of project Save, which does the following: he calls set the timer on CONST project name to define the name of the new project (this works even if we put an indicator), calls to use current default to make the new value "stick" and called "Instrument to save" to save the changes.  The problem is that CONST project name cannot be "running" in the State to use current default work without raising an error.  If the name of the Save project is simply called as a Subvi to get a project name, it will be in the State of operation as it is used in the case of non-development mode to get a project name.  The solution to this witch hunt is to use the asynchronous call with-and-Forget 'spawn' name of the Save project.  Finally, we modify register project name so that it starts with a loop "wait", examinging the State of execution of CONST name project and waiting for it to exit the executing State, indicating that it is prudent to make the change.

  Phew!  But it works!  Oddly enough, when I tried this using a Global Variable instead of my Constant VI, I kept getting errors during execution are currently lacking, but despite the mistakes, the code seemed to run correctly.  I found an article (written for LabVIEW 5!) explaining that it was expected as Globals behavior were always in the State of operation.  Actually, I just realized that I had not tried with the call-and-Forget asynchronous schema, then perhaps a decade later, LabVIEW will allow me to do this using a Global without raising an error...

• Error code 61499 after update license (FPGA)

  Hello

  I am a fairly experienced user of FPGA module.  I have LabVIEW 2009 installed (version 9.0.0) including the FPGA on XP 32-bit module.  Everything worked well and I had a project specific FPGA that had been built and run in the last month or so.

  In the meantime, the license has expired, so I had to update the license.  After update of the license, I made a trivial change in VI (default values has changed some entries to the front) and tried to compile and run.

  This has generated the error-61499, with additional information:

  Error starting compile step: make sure that a compatible version of Xilinx tools is installed in the location specified in the Setup from LabVIEW.

  I looked after error-61499 in LabVIEW FPGA and a few other positions.  I checked the path of compilation of LabVIEW FPGA registry keys and it seems fine (C:\NIFPGA2009\Xilinx\ISE).  This directory exists and is the right size (3.74 GB).  A temporary directory is created in C:\NIFPGA2009\srvrTmp\localhost.  I searched the pearl58.dll file but couldn't find it.

  When I look at the license installed recently and the license has expired in the License Manager NOR, I see no difference between the two other than the expiration date.

  Summary: I had a working facility and the project, updated the license file and now get error-61499.

  ???

  With the help of an Application engineer, I tried two things.

  First of all, I tried to 'fix' the FPGA Module through the "Add or remove programs" utility in Control Panel.  That had no effect.

  Then, I downloaded and installed NOR-RIO 3.3.0 of the support zone, drivers and updates.  That solved the problem!

  So, for someone who has a similar problem in the future, try to reinstall the driver OR RIO.

  There is a new version out today, but it should not affect the preflight. Let us know if you still unable to control upstream.

• Clip of Label and name not automatically update in the timeline panel

  I just finished a major project, so now that he has the time to take the plunge and upgrade first. So far, it's fine, but the clip labels and names only are not automatically updated in the timeline panel when I change into the bin. Is this something that only works on new projects (rather than old projects updated in this new version)? Or...?

  Go to the menu file > Project Settings > general, and when the component of the project opens, check the box 'display name of project items and label color for all instances.

• Warp bug of stabilizer in the new update of first

  Made the mistake of mid-project update. Now first stabilizing of string is not working and causes of rendered frames to twinkle in the dark. Tried the stabilizer on new projects with the same results. Contacted support and they said "is being rushed to get fixed." Anyone else having this problem?

  Please choose file > project settings > General. Inspect the reading and video rendering. Under the rendering engine, click on the menu and set it to > "Mercury engine software of read only." It's working now?
