  • Error 1074135030 and hyper-Terminal failure while communicating with the power supply

    Hello

I use the serial port to communicate with power XG XG 8-100 (series) by Xantrex (Sorensen).

I could not find the driver in IDNE, but I found one on the site of the company that is http://www.programmablepower.com/products/XTR/XTR_Downloads.htm , when I run the example that I get the below error:

Error 1074135030 has occurred to be initialized with Options.vi of DC850W

Driver status: (Hex 0xBFFA000A) check that the name of the library (C:\DC850W\DC850W_32.dll) and (DC850W) prefix are correct.

I don't know what the problem is with the name of the library that makes such a problem.

FYI, I tried to communicate with the device using the hyper terminal, but there is no answer. When I check the MAX, it seems that everything is OK, that the State is: the device works properly!

Do you have any suggestions for me?

Any help or suggestions appreciated because I'm messed up with this and I don't know how to go further.

HI - try "restart and reboot" normal and hopefully that fixes it! But I think that you will need to connect with a support call, you can do it online here - https://support.software.dell.com/login?ReturnUrl=%2fmy-support - if you do not have an account, just create one, your will need just to your license key. Once it is saved a Foglight support person will contact you... I would like to know how you get on - Danny thanks

  • HP Z600 workstation: Z600 - POST error beep (5 five beeps)

I bought an opportunity Workstation Z600 with 12 GB of ram and two processors E5520 Xeon a year ago. It has operated VMware esxi 6 like a champ, 24/7, no problem.  I made a change to esxi to activate technology hyper threading that I had not been activated previously. The change required a reboot.

Directly after the restart, the Z600 gave an error of 5 beeps with power led to change from blue to red and flashes red with each beep.

I found the Z600 maintenance manual and the diagnostic code refers to a "memory error video pre.  I have tried the following to resolve the error without success:

    1. Reinstall the DIMMs.
    2. Replace DIMMS one by one to isolate the faulty module.
    3. Removed power system without DIMM DIMMS, bike and re-placed DIMM (it was a 'technical' repair suggested on another post here in the forums of HP for a matter of "5 beeps").
    4. Replaced with different compatible DIMM DIMMS.
    5. Replaced the motherboard with used, but identical motherboard number and repeat steps 1 to 4.

At this point, I don't know what I can do a troubleshooting point.

For any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

    Just a last follow-up.

I removed the 2nd CPU, cleared the CMOS but it still some messages with error 5 beep. Swapped all of RAM sticks, swapped CPU 1 with the 2nd and traded off the RAM sticks again. Each combination was the POST error.

I threw in the towel. I thought about buying the new RAM since all my RAM is used, but I can't justify spending good money after bad on a hunch, it's the RAM. I will part out the Z600 and try to recover some of my losses.

Just that there is another method I wish diagnostic I could apply to understand what is the question.

Who knew restart, after a year of solid service, would kill the PC.

    Thank you all.

  • How to enable Hyper-v from the BIOS in book pro 430 G1

In fact, hyper-v has a tick perfect on windows 8 but when I start windows mobile emulator it gives error hyper v and then I tried to go from the bios, there is no option for hyper v then how should I allow it?

Can you put a picture of the BIOS screen you see?

You should be able to activate the virtualization of in the BIOS. Do you use the BIOS as an administrator?

I suggest that you update your BIOS to the current version. This should return the ability to enable virtualization.

However, when I try to install the Hyper-V platform, I get the error message "virtualization is disabled in the firmware. How to enable virtualization?

    Thank you!

Here are the specifications of your desktop HP ENVY h8-1455. Please see this document from HP on the "parameters of the BIOS for the motherboard Formosa" appearing in your computer. "To use Hyper-V, you must enable" Virtaulization technology "in the BIOS. Settings for the "Virtaulization" technology must be located in the BIOS under 'Security system' as follows:

Security system allows to change the settings of virtualization technology and data execution prevention. Data Execution Prevention helps to avoid operating system security breaches.  Enable virtualization technology if required by the virtualization software.

Use top and down arrow keys to move an item. Then press the right or left arrow button to change the setting. Press F10 to accept the changes or ESC to cancel and return to the previous menu without saving changes.

  • TS140 Power Kernal Crash & Hyper-V

    Hi all

I really hope to get some insight on this question. He had led me in the wall the past couple months and I can't seem to understand. So here I am hoping someone can help out me.

The machine is a Thinkserver TS140, Intel Xeon processor E3-1225 @3 v3. 20 GHz, 20 GB of RAM ECC, 2 HDD RAID 1 C: and another 2 HDD RAID 1 for D:. I am running Server R2 2012 on this machine and it is fully patched. I use this server as a domain controller, DNS Server home and Hyper-V server.

As a domain controller and DNS server everything works great. No problem at all. Can I leave the machine on for days, weeks, months etc without any hiccup in power. The problem occurs when I start my Hyper-v virtual machine. The virtual computer is running Windows 8.1 Pro, using 3 CPU and 4 GB of RAM. I use this virtual machine to execute the surveillance system for my home devices. It is not a lot of resources and uses only a fraction of the CPU and the RAM.

That said, it is when I run in the "Kernel-Power" event ID number Sometimes, the virtual machine will run for a day or two without any problems, and all of a sudden the host (the Thinkserver himself) server restarts unexpectedly. On logging in and checking the log files, I see a kernel-power error read "the system has rebooted without stop properly first. "This error can be caused if the system unresponsive, crashed or unexpected power loss. On the Details tab, bugs of event data are all "0 x 0. There is not more information give me a suspicion of what might be wrong. There is no other event ID leading to the accident, indicating something that has happened right before that happens. Other times, the virtual machine will run only for a few minutes or a few hours before the server restarts automatically. There seems to be no rhyme or reason as to why this happens.

Some things I've tried so far is new RAM. Which is a not seem to make a difference. I moved the server to a new outlet, on its own circuit to verify that there are no power problem going on with her. The new locations have not fixed it. One thing that I wonder is 280W power in the Thinkserver. This power could have enough 'juice' to feed my RAID drives and a hyper-v virtual computer simultaneously? Pourrait I need buy the 450W PSU? Could there be a firmware update there I need that could fix this problem? Y at - it a bug known in Hyper-V that causes this crash?

I have spent months looking for solutions online, look for patches, etc.. Whatever it is possible to help and so far I had no chance. If anyone out there has ANY idea what could happen, I'd really appreciate your thoughts and ideas. If you would like more information on the problem or my setup, or would like to see the event ID, I'd be more than willing to send screenshots to discuss the matter further. Thank you all who have taken the time to read this and I hope to hear from you.

    Thank you

    Jeff

I think that I thought about it. Apart from settle to 1 core per VM, the other thing I did was last updated the driver to pass. It is the only driver that I couldn't immediately find and it seems to have fixed random crash. Between this update and lowering posibly cores per VM, the issue seems to be fixed.
