  IM using Smart View "Essbase' connection to a worm 11.1.1.3, however the connection of essbase, Hyperion Planning Application I'm not able to select the view options smart to see the alias, the members or both. I change the setting (duplicate names allowed members = true) directly the properties of the sketch in EAS, and now I am able to see the names of borrowing, but if time I update it using web/workspace planning, this setting is cancelled. In addition I don't have something I should use with planning. Any comments?

  Dear all,

  The problem has been resolved. My planning application schema name was 'AS_IS. I entered the physical schema "As_Is" and test the connection, the connection was successful. Now when I tried to reverse engineering, it gave me 0 rows.

  I debugged the code to extract the tables, the code has been filtering 'As_Is' owner to get tables. As a result, it was not all columns. I changed the physical schema of "AS_IS", and now it shows me the tables.

  Hi, Experts!

  I have test the mobile version of Hyperion Planning (11.1.2.3.500). I ' v has everything, but not reports,

  I tried different ways: accorder grant permissions in Expolrer, copy reports to users, log in as administrator.

  but the list of reports is always empty!

  There is no "no Reports" tab as 'Tablet access'... He has only lists of tasks, forms and approvals.

  Any body explain what can I do to get access in mobile planning reports?

  A few errors in this script:

  1 DATACOPY is not allowed inside the IF block. You can use the assignment ('=') instead of datacopy

  2 ENDIF is missing. You should have ENDIF before hook closing.

  The requirement is corresponding Hyperion Planning entered in forms on OBIEE reports comments. I was able to retrieve details about the author, content of the note as well as the corresponding dimensions in considering the following tables:
  1.HSP_CELL_NOTE
  2.HSP_CELL_NOTE_ITEM
  3.HSP_OBJECT
  4.HSP_USER
  
  But I'm confused about the later approach that I take. How the Federation would be made with the Essbase cube in the OBIEE repository? How comments should be referenced to specific OBIEE reports corresponding to the Hyperion Planning Forms?
  
  I use Hyperion Planning 11.1.2.2 and OBIEE 11.1.1.6.

  The problem has been resolved. For example. For comments, a notice must be created in the relational database where the records retrieved from the HSP_CELL_NOTE and HSP_CELL_NOTE_ITEM HSP_OBJECT, the Member of dimension alias names must be recovered form HSP_ALIAS or HSP_MEMBER in the view. Then using the lookup function in OBIEE, we can extract the value (comment) the relational database view looking upward with the names of members alias Essbase in the MDB layer.   I created 2 models in my designer:
  
  HYPERION_MODEL_TEST and ORACLE_SQL_SOURCE, the first has the reverse engineering dimensions ranging from planning and the other is to get the table that contains the members of my size. For the staging area, the synopsis in memory DB is used.

  First of all there is no interest in using the memory storage engine as the staging area if Oracle is your source, you can also use Oracle as the transit area, the staging area probably will not be used as usual a straight SQL query will be generated.

  I'm new to this Hyperion Planning 4.0.1. Just install it on a server with Essbase 7.1.3 and SQL Server 2000 SP3.
  The weird thing happens whenever I try to open the main forms. The planning said "year error occurred.", without further information. This happen to anyone? Please help, I went through this for 4 days. Thanks in advance!

  If the forms are too big, then you hit the problem of maxing out the JVM, this was always the case with planning forms, they have it a little improved in the new versions by changing the part of the code, but may still have a problem.

  Loading metadata in Hyperion planning through SQl IKM - Hyperion Planning, a movement of a member from one parent to the other create a duplicate instead of moving.
  
  Here is an Ex:

Recently, we add a new 'table Alias' in the planning application, and in order to load new description in the aliases table, re-run us the process reverses in ODI.
