• Palette controls MyRIO appears not

  I recently received a myRIO.  After graduating (relatively) comfortable with LabVIEW, I have connected the RIO for the first time and went through the getting started wizard and draw the graph of the accelerometer.  However, when I tried to move forward to control the LED on the myRIO through a VI, I couldn't find the relevant icons to insert in the tool Palette, as shown in the tutorial.  When I opened the tool palette there is no section "myRIO".  There are some elements of the FPGA and the visionRIO controls, but none of the standard (I guess) LED control etc.

  After some reading, I thought it's probably a problem with the Toolbox myRIO, I had installed LabVIEW and thought I installed the toolkit from the CD provided with the item.  Idecided to erase and reinstall the Toolbox.  With the CD, I uninstalled all myRIO toolkit that I had previously installed and rebooted, then installed the resources on the same CD and rebooted.

  No joy, the License Manager NOR has not shown and myRIO toolkit under toolkits when I checked.

  I am now installing the Toolbox to the web download of the group for the second time.  After reviewing the previous posts on issues that seem to be the same as this, I have tried almost everything, and he seems not to have worked.  When I open LabVIEW screen (where you can create the project/access those pre-existing) says "LabView... myRIO, ' is the LabVIEW installed from the disk of myRIO as far as I can tell.  I don't see why it shouldn't.

  Please help if you can.  Let me know if the necessary information.  I'm on Windows 10 on a HP Pavilion.

  Looks like you had open the VI was under the FPGA myRIOs in the project. Palettes will change according to the context of the VI in order to ensure that the VI is created under the myRIO. You can also view and modify the current context at the bottom left of the VI.

  Essentially, that's what you're looking for:

  

  Please note that you have to account border sizes and the label of the control so that the code does not work right out of the box. You should also check for the height and width of column and if the position is valid at all before moving around the control.

• Boolean Array controlled clock reentrante Subvi

  I am in the final stage of implementation of my program.

  Currently, I have to overcome two obstacles.

  #1 corresponds to the attached VI "my chronometer.

  The round LED starts to count time and stops him. Problem is even if I turn it off it, the timer continues counting the seconds when I turn it on again. I want it accumulates only the time he spent in the position it. How can I do this?

  To use as a Subvi, it is easier to use feedback initialized worldwide nodes. Here's a quick example.

  (Place both live in the same folder, and then run CallTimerSubVI)

  You use too much code. Please rethink what you were doing! Also look at my example.

  • Instead of 24 shift registers to use three, containing 8 elements berries (or the number of timers you need).
  • You need a resolution of one second, then place a wait inside the loop. There is no need to do turn 10 million times per second, you're just wasting cycles cpu and all the other programs of hunger.
  • A constant 1000 diagram is sufficient (instead of 16!). You can branch the wire.
  • Why divide the two values of 1,000 and then add? You must first add and divide once!
  • Why reverse the Boolean values, swap just the case if necessary?
  • (Even if you really want to reverse all Boolean values, do it once on the side of the table.)
  • It is a little VI, why optimize on-screen?
  • Note that my code is progressing well. A few minor changes would allow it to be used with 100 timers. To do the same with your design program would be impossible.

• exit node digital fpga Boolean realtime control

  I have a system where I want to enable / disable a digital output running on FPGA.

  Once I set the Boolean value on my side in real time (which turns out FPGA), I see the output turns on the CRIO, but it flickers on and OFF (do not lock?).   I just want the FPGA to stay as long as the output is enabled, on the coast in real time.  I can't change the mechanical action of the switch because of limitations on FPGA / RT according to labview (I get an error on compilation)

  You reset the FPGA inside of the loop, in "Open FPGA Part.vi. You must open the FPGA reference once, outside the loop, instead of open it several times. Whenever you reset the FPGA VI, exits back to the default values.

  Controls from the system palette are color-matched to the theme of the operating system and cannot be changed.

  If you want to use custom colors use a control among other palettes.

• How to use Boolean loop values from 2 different sources to stop awhile?

  I'm working on a program for homework indicating E5.4) using a single eLoop Whil, build a VI that runs a loop N times or until the user presses a button. Be sure to include the time delay Exress Vi so that the user has time to press the stop botton.

  I am doing this right now, but it seems I can connect only one thing at the stop sign onto th while loop. It won't let me connect a comparison between iterations and N as well as the stop button at the stop sign onto all loop. So, how would I be able to structure so that it stops if it receives a true Boolean value of one of the 2 sources (both whichever)?

  Basically, I can't thread the result of the comparison of N and iterations as well as the stop button the stop on the loop about button to put an end. is there a solution?

  Look in the Boolean palette for something similar for the word highlighted in red above.

• Resize controls programmatically during execution

  I have a series of controls on a GUI and a GUI I want to be able to resize according to the machine that is running the program.

  Basically, my logic is this. A GUI can fill the available display space, but not all, and must never be directed at a screen that is not designed for.

  Currently my laptop is having display problems and keep chaning the resolution thus masking the parts of my GUI.

  I want to resize (and place all controls visible and indicators - I know that those to whom they are) so that my GUI appears in a space about some default screen resolutions. (800 x 600, 1024 x 768 and 1280 x 1024)

  I can get the position and the limits of control, but I can't change the boundaries of a control (generic) with the property node. It's frustrating. one of my being a listbox controls large multicolumn who takes the largest part of the screen and really need resize according to the resolution of the screen.

  Any ideas?

  Your immediate problem is change the size of a control is available only through specific property (and not generic) nodes.  Use the function "to the more specific" in the palette controls App to convert the reference type.  If the generic reference does not mention this reference type, it will return an error.

  Here's the code that changes all MCLs on public Service 100x200px

  Since you say that you know who controls that you want to change, you can do created references, too.

  Are there any Boolean vi which allow an amount any entries? As one 'or' vi which can take 4 + entries.

  Use an RC with 4 inputs. It's called the Compound arithmetic function and it is on the Boolean palette and digital. Right-click on it to change the Mode (Add, multiply, AND, OR, XOR).

  Well, I'm a long time user, but that will come back some time.

  A global variable is basically a VI without a block diagram, so you should be able to place a Boolean control on the global variable just as you would place a digital command. Boolean values are treated differently at the time, but it probably won't affect what you do. The prices you say you tried, you can't put a Boolean value controlling this? I honestly don't remember not that is the case, but if this is the case, you can still use the functional overall construction, which is what we did before global variables have been introduced.

  I have the main VI which I want to be driven from an another VI. But I can't do that and I don't know what is happening.

  For example: VI main, I have a while loop with a structure of the event, there is a Boolean controller controlling a Boolean LED, which is inside the structure of the event. And the other VI, there is just a Boolean controller and functions of applications to open the main VI.

  How can I control the Boolean LED in VI main, changing the State of the Boolean controller in an another VI?

  There are different options, but depending on what you want to do. For this example I can't give you a specific solution.

  I do not understand why you do what you do. Why do you call your 'principle VI' dynamically? What is the advantage to do? There are also other ways to call a VI dynamically, based on real cases (for example the method "call and forget", etc...).

  In you principle VI, control you Boolean ("THATCHER") is not the case of corresponding event. This is not usually a good practice, keep it inside.

  Also, why you try to communicate with the caller and callee VI through such a way to twist? There are better ways to do it.

  In one of my projects, I use the user event to launch orders in case of case of appellant VI.

  I have a problem I'm supposed to control the LED of labview. Total control of 4 LEDS using NI 9263 as an interface.

  So far, I managed only to control using 4 boolean. I need to do as one of the led light both upward and it is continuous in a circle.

  for all four leds using the DAQ Assistant total of 4 channels. So, how can I make it work? Is it possible if I use a boolean to control all the

  in fact I want to control an amplifier by increasing or decreasing the gain depends on put it,

  I use SR570 amplifier include the sensetivity of 1ap to 1mA 28stage, and I'm acquires put it in material NI9222 of data acquisition.

  at the beginning I selects a standard value for the penetrating, so if the output put in a range of voltage (2 and 6), penetrants selected will be used as default value, else if the penetrating is greater than 6, it means penetrants must be reduced to avoid overload of the amplifier, otherwise if put it is less than 2 , penetrants must be increased to ensure enough out put amplitude.

  This proceadure must be made by increasing or decreasing one of the stages of penetrating the current penetrating.

  My problem is that I can make this proceadure only once (see the vi), because I couldn't find the best programming proceadure to increase or decrease the penetrating through a stage of the current condition. so can you share me some tip to solve this?

  The change which should be on the outside while loop. The loop only runs one iteration For which does nothing and can be eliminated. By moving the control terminal of sensitivity out of the loop and wiring for it the shift of the shift register register is initialized to the starting value set on this control. However, no changes to this control will be recognized after starting the program running.

  Change the mechanical Action of the button stop lock when released. It will automatically return to False after the reading.  The rectangular button on the Boolean palette has this preset mechanical Action.
