Once I have save the page and preview the page in Internet Explorer, I can't click on the hyperlinks. There is a download button that downloads the Microsoft Excel worksheet.

• Acrobat forms - continue the text to another worksheet

  OK, so I am a teacher kind of myself to create forms in Acrobat.

  We have a memo which is a format .docx I want to convert a form of Abobe. The reason is it just seems redundant to edit the document in word - only and then save it as a PDF, and insert the pages into a PDF package containing other plans and details in PDF form. I designed a formula that actually works great... except in cases where the "details" of the memo exceed the size of the worksheet text box. I need a way to keep the text on a second sheet. Then, the user can simply save the PDF and inserting it into their plan on all other documents. Is there a way to do this? My first thought was just to create the form with a second sheet already in it. But as I said, it depends on the complexity of the project that the user may not even need this second sheet. The downside to this is to make sure that the user removes this second page, if this is not necessary. The document must also be able to be printed in the format letter, if necessary.

  Attached is an example... you can see the area I speak with the green arrow. Details of the project could be four or five paragraphs or alone.

  Any help would be LARGELY APPRECIATED!

• A hyperlink to another Keynote

  With the help of 7.0 KN, I can't find no way to bind a KN presentation to another (both on my Mac), what I had done with older versions of KN. Can someone tell me how, or this feature has been removed? I am generally pretty well versed in KN and use often, but did not bind this way for a while. I know there is a work around (copy in the other), but the link would be better.

  This feature has been removed in versions 6 and 7 of Keynote.

  For example:

  I have a main table with different data: Clients, Jobnumbers, Dates and the name of the person working on the job. Now, I need to auto filter the main table at various smaller tables, where I see only the jobs of "Pete". A second for "Jon." A third for "Stanley" etc...

  I know that there is a way to do this in Excel, but I did not find a way again to do with numbers.

  This is known as a table for discussion and has been a hot topic in this forum sometimes. The process is not difficult, but a screen showing the structure of your main table and what you want to see in the table of 'Pete' would be useful in providing a specific solution to your question.

• Numbers: Automatically generate data in one worksheet to another worksheet.

  By the numbers, how can you (or is it possible to) automatically generate data in a spreadsheet that is manually entered in another sheet?  For example, I want to track customer information in sheets 2-10 and I want specific data of these sheets to automatically fill the sheet 1 box so I can create an overview of the specific data in any of my clients.  As a dashboard of sorts.

  The devil is in the details here. Can you give more details?

  In general, I would say it will be much easier to enter your data at a specific location and then consolidate that extracts the "views" or "reports" it for each customer, to enter data for each client separately.

  But both ways are possible.

• How can link to external files - I insert hyperlinks to another project?

  Hi, I am trying to learn how to use RoboHelp HTML (I use RoboHelp10), and, unfortunately, I have to work on a project that someone else has started some time ago.

  The thing is, I have 2 separate projects, each with their own files, will that ultimately generated in 2 files separate chm and used in the same software (probably merged, but I don't know yet).

  A project needs to have hyperlinks across multiple pages htm to the subjects of the other project. I read the help provided by Adobe RoboHelp, but I don't know that I understand:

  Link to external files

  • Choose a location for link in the design editor.
  • Enter text.
  • Highlight the text and click Insert Hyperlink .
  • Click on the triangle button next to link to, and then select the file.
  • Browse to a file, open it and copy it to the folder of the project. -Is this file the individual .htm containing my topic or the .chm generated from all the files in the project htm? Where in the project folder devrais I copy it? (my project .chm file is generated in the.) SSL! folder).

  Generate the file in order to test the links to external topics.

  WebHelp projects

  The external file must be distributed in the WebHelp folder.

  Microsoft HTML Help projects

  The external file must be distributed with the CHM file. Note: the external CHM file must be in the same folder as the CHM project file.

  - I'm going to generate a Microsoft HTML Help project, so the second spec probably applies. Does this mean that external chm must be copied in the! SSL! folder where I generate my current chm and distributed together, so that hyperlinks will work?

  When I created a hyperlink to another place in a WORD 2010 document IE. an image with the words "A spreadsheet" link is a few pages from the image, I am able to click on the image and it takes me to the "worksheet".

  So, once I created the PDF is more "clickable". Have I missed a step in Word or I can add the hyperlink in Acrobat DC?

  To get the active links, you must use PDF Maker inside WORD. If you print to the Adobe PDF printer, you lose all the links. You can add links back with Acrobat, but it's a long trip.

  Open Acrobat, navigate to the Edit-> Preferences menu-> convert to PDF-> MS Excel-> the settings of-> tick "add links to Adobe PDF file.

  

  Click OK to confirm the changes, now, try to create a PDF file using Acrobat itself application.

  Here is one approach. Two tables extra where you can filter on a name.

  

  The 'File' table is where you type or paste details.

  The table "Choosing a name" has a context Menu in A2

  

  In the table "Wash."

  Formula in A2 (fill down)

  = Roster::A2

  Formula in B2 (fill down)

  = Roster::B2

  Formula in C2 (fill down)

  = IF(B=Choose a Name::A$2,"Show","Hide")

  In the table "in the dry."

  Formula in A2 (fill down)

  = Roster::A2

  Formula in B2 (fill down)

  = Roster::C2

  Formula in C2 (fill down)

  = IF(B=Choose a Name::A$2,"Show","Hide")

  I added the highlight conditional to add Green fill to no results 'Show', just to illustrate. It is not necessary, because we'll hide these columns.

  Now, apply a filter for the wash, then the tables dry:

  

  To see this:

  

  You can move (copy / paste) the list to another worksheet table 'hide' If you wish.

  Now hide the columns 'Show?' in the dry tables and washing.

  Choose a different name in the pop-up Menu

  I created the tables on the same sheet. You can cut and paste the 'Customer' table to another worksheet.

  Formula in B2 of the 'customer '.

  = VLOOKUP($a2,contacts::$A:$D,2,0)

  Formula C2 (if you wish)

  = VLOOKUP($a2,contacts::$A:$D,3,0)

  Formula in D2

  = VLOOKUP($a2,contacts::$A:$D,4,0)

  Type = in any cell to start the formula and bring up the browser functions. Type the VLOOKUP function to see how to use the VLOOKUP function:

  The VLOOKUP function returns a value from a collection of columns using the values in the left column to choose a line and column number to select a column in the same row.

  • VLOOKUP (for research, range of columns, column back, closing-match)
    • search for: the value to search for. Research-valuecan contain any value.
    • columns-range: a collection of cells. range columns must contain a reference to a single range of cells, which can contain any values.
    • return-column: a numeric value that specifies the number of the column of the cell where to return the value. The left in the collection column is column 1.
    • closing-match: a modal value that determines if an exact match is required.
      • close match (TRUE, 1, or omitted): If there is no exact match, select the line with the largest value of the left column that is less than or equal to the search value. If you use a close match, you cannot use wildcards in the search for.
      • exact match (FALSE or 0): If there is no exact match, returns an error. If you use the exact match, you can use wildcards in the search to.

  Notes

  • VLOOKUP compares a value to search for values in the column on the left of a specified collection. If an exact match is required, the line containing the largest value of the left column that is less than or equal to the search value is selected. Then, the value of the specified column in the same row is returned by the function. If an exact match is required, and none of the left column values match the value of the research, the function returns an error.

  I can open a reference to an MS Excel (workbook), open a particular worksheet and fill cells. A macro cannot be magic and populates cells in another worksheet. What I have to do now is to print a particular spreadsheet. Is there an example autour for printing a single worksheet in a workbook. Guess I can copy worksheet in an interim report, print it out and then delete it - is there a better way?

  If you have access to the report generation tool, you can use the following example, write it down other than Sheet1 of a spreadsheet Excel (report Gen) to print a specific worksheet.  Just add a print report after the excel spreadsheet and you should be all set.

  You try to do this without the help of the report generation tool?
