I am able to download the .exe file and it begins to run, but then the window disappears, and the creative cloud window never opens. I also can't currently open creative cloud, even if I have already installed. I was able to open creative cloud and select Illustrator there are a few tests, but nothing would happen. It would show progress but then stops and the window would disappear.

  The Downloader is you inviting them to save the installation file to a directory. By default, this is the "Downloads" folder in your user account.

  You can save the file to your "Desktop" for easy access and once the download is complete, you can run the setup.exe file to begin the installation.
