  • Startup gets "Network cable unplugged" on mini-PCI Wireless card

I recently installed a Netgear DG834GT wireless router and now have intermittent problems connecting my Tecra 9100. If the 9100 has been off for awhile (like overnight), when I restart I get always "Network cable unplugged" for the wireless connection. Reboot several times (anything from 3 upwards) I finally get connected to the router and everything then works fine for hours. Even a quick restart at this point (that is, once that the wireless adapter is connected) does not cause a problem, but as soon as I leave the stop of the machine during a time he fails again on restart.

There are no errors in the event log.

I am using wireless mini-PCI cards and have already updated to the latest version of the driver.

Any ideas gratefully received, for now every morning is a 20 to 30 minutes of rebooting frustration trying to get my connection work.

    Hello

As far as I know, the unplugged network cable message just for LAN (Local Area connection-LAN) and not wireless.

If you want to check this map to disable LAN in Device Manager. After starting the laptop turn on the wireless card, check the status using the FN + F8 key combination. Wi - Fi is activated after a short time, you should be able to use your wireless network.

You can enable the option Show icon in notification area when connected. You can find it in the properties of wireless under the general tab.

  • Satellite 1905-S303 PCI Wireless card does not start code 10

I put a PCI BCM94306PM broadcom wireless card in my laptop. The laptop is equipped with led however one is damaged and can not be connected, these cards may work with only one side and I even read somewhere that they can work on a short range with no led. My problem is the Device Manager indicates that the device cannot start code 10. I have a fresh install of XP Pro SP1 (not from the original restore disk). With this in mind, I think there must be some Toshiba utility or the missing driver to allow the map to work. Any help appreciated.

    Hello

Code 10 means that it is not present, not working not properly, or does not have all the drivers installed.
In this case you need to download the latest driver on Toshiba website and install it.

  • Pavilion 15-ab157nr: wireless card replace in 15-ab157nr

    Hello

I bought a Pavilion 15-ab157nr some time ago and have had several problems with the internet connection. I think they come from the map, a Realtek RTL8723BE. I want to upgrade to a better card, but I can't find information on what might work as a replacement. Will there be a whitelist of known for this model? I found the Service Manual of 'star wars special edition' but I don't know if this would apply to my model.

Thanks for any help you may be able to provide.

I understand that you bought your laptop some time ago, but have experienced difficulties with your wireless network you believe is related to the card and consider replacing the wireless card. I noticed you responded to a similar request in @ShoutH2O and that they will try the Intel 2 x 2 AC 7265, which is recommended to replace. • HP Pavilion 17-e020dx: updated hp pavilion 17-e020dx wireless card

Y at - it supported an upgrade to the wireless card compatible for hp pavilion 17-e020dx - a wireless card dual band that takes 5 GHz?

    Hello:

If there are two antennas connected to your current wlan card wireless (many laptops with the Realtek RTL8188EE 802.11bg / n 1 x 1 WiFi adapter have only 1 current wireless antenna), then you can move to the

    Broadcom BCM943228HMB 802.11abgn 2 × 2 Wi - Fi, Broadcom Bluetooth 4.0 adapter adapter - HP ref # 730668-001.

Intel wireless network adapters will work normally not in a notebook with AMD hardware.

Make sure that your laptop has 2 antennas wireless now, before ordering a different wlan card, unless you are willing and able to disassemble the entire notebook including the Billboard, in order to properly install the second antenna.

Repair shows 2 antennas, but as I posted above, for some reason any many laptops equipped with wireless Realtek 8188 card have only 1.

    IS that the model HP Pavilion ZE1000-BI? I can't find a ZE1000-IV.

If so, the site does not give the specs, but it offers a driver wifi for XP.

But if your laptop doesn't have WiFi, then your only alternative is to use a USB Wifi adapter.

Virtually all of them are now compatible with b/g/n standard.

  • HP Pavilion 9500: Supported wireless card doesn't work is not in Windows 10

I just bought a new card WiFi Intel Centrino Ultimate-N 6300 to my PC HP Pavilion 9500/entertainment because the original a (WiFi Link 4965AGN) is no longer supported on Windows 10. I have the Driver IRQL NOT LESS or EQUAL (Netwlv.64.sys) BSOD a few times a day.  According to Intel, the Ultimate_N 6500 is a supported card, but once I installed it, it will fail to start; He told me that my network card is not taken in charge and remove it please.

Here, any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you!!

Then, you will need to return the o/s supported to ensure that the equipment works as I have said, you use what works for her, not what you want. What you want and what works are the two different side of the same coin.

I guess the easy option would be the easiest route to take. I wasn't going for simple, I expected a little more creative way to solve this problem; workaround to allow W10 supports my original legacy wireless card or a way to remove the restrictions on the white list by HP to enable my new card.   It seems that this is not the right forum for this.

    Thank you.

No there's a white list of BIOS that will prevent the installation of any wireless card other than that provided by HP with the original from the sale of the unit. And there must be a version of HP of the card, not only the same chipset. Pages 57-58 lists the options available:

  • How to install WLAN PCIe wireless card N 1525 in Dell XPS 8500?

I have a system Dell XPS 9100 which has a Dell Wireless - N 1525 PCIe WLAN card (a, g, b, d) I would like to transfer into my new Dell 8500, which comes with a mini-map half 1703 of Dell Wireless WLAN (b/g/n). This is because Dell 1525 is dual band and is faster than the Dell 1525. I would like to get some advice if possible and the installation of the Wireless N 1525 in the 8500 XPS WLAN PCIe card (and replacing the mini-map half 1703). Thanks in advance!

    Hi mikeraj,

Thanks for the reply. There is no need to uninstall the Dell Wireless 1703 card drivers. You can get away without uninstalling the drivers

Then insert the Dell 1525 Wireless card and install its drivers.

I hope this helps. I am happy to help others.

I tried a few maps but at startup, the display is not compatible with your hardware... some people say download new bios with Advanced menu and whitelist blah blah, but I couldn't find any bios as it is there, so no wireless card compatible bluetooth included please send me links?

    Hello:

Here is the link to the service manual for your laptop.

Supported wireless cards are listed in Chapter 3, beginning on page 23.

    http://h10032.www1.HP.com/CTG/manual/c02657339.PDF

Are the only cards that will work and you need to get one of those listed with HP part number on it as well, or it won't work.

I guarantee none of them won't work, but you can order from HP and they will probably take it back if it doesn't work.  After all, what are those indicated in the service manual for your laptop.

  • Satellite P300-23F-mini-PCI Wireless card Replace?

Question: would it be possible to replace the card of wireless mini-PCI Intel 5100AGN with version 4965AGN or 5300AGN?

The thing is, recently I bought the Satellite P300-23F. Great laptop. Apart from one thing. I use the Intel 5100AGN wireless. Type of damage, the rest of the components used to build this laptop are high-end. I would have liked to see the 5300AGN of even the old 4965AGN adapter instead. These are both a bit more expensive, but still on the market for the price difference is a simple slice of $20. The 5100AGN TX is only 150 Mbit, which is half as fast as the two other Intel wireless modules. In general, a lot of people seem to have problems with the 5100AGN, seems to be a troublesome product altogether.

Performance of the real world of the 5100AGN on a Linksys WRT54G is around 15 Mbps (1, 8 MB/s). My other computer laptop, equipped with a 4965AGN will be double that in the same circumstances. Tried all the drivers I could find, but the above values are the best I can get.

    Hello

I think that this should be possible, but you must use Mini-PCI cards.
The antenna WLan that is placed behind the screen provides two sons; black & white.
A white cable normally goes to the HAND and a black to the auxiliary voltage

    Hello

As far as I know white cable goes to the ESSENTIAL and a black to the power supply if you need some specifications or documents on how to disassemble the device it can be a problem because it's not in public.
