I am unable to ping to network printers in France of my server in England.

I have two sitting printers on our network with ip 10.33.14.66 addresses French & 10.33.14.113. I can ping and print address 66, but not to address my server (10.44.41.38 ip address) England 113. I set up the ports in a way identicle and can add printers through AD. Why can I print to one and not the other?

  • Unable to connect to my network printers

I just changed my router Netgear MR314 wireless to a Linksys WRT300N wireless router.  I can connect to the internet OK, but I can't connect to my two network printers.  They are connected to the router with a CAT5 cable.  Both worked on the old router wireless before the change.

Another point is that I have a HP JetDirect, print server cable connected to the router with a different printer.  This connection works OK.

Tell all about how to solve the problem?

I finally got everything to work.  I have reset the router and all printers to factory default and restarted with the installation.  The system has assigned a new IP address to the printer, so I had to reinstall on my contuters.

  • Problem adding network printers; received this message error «Windows cannot connect to the printer or the name of the printer...» »

    Hello

I have a Windows XP pro (Lenovo) that I recently ran the recovery and returned to certain configurations of 1.5 years. Now I can't add a network printer and get always the message error «Windows cannot connect to the printer or the name of the printer...» ». I ping the printer and all on my network can add these printers, it's just that a machine that fails to add network printers.

I disabled the firewall, but were still unable to add the printer. Then I found some difficulties to register for a similar problem, but they were not useful... It really becomes a big headache, especially Windows restore does not work...

I strongly suspect that 1.5 years, someone has renamed the printer.  Use Windows Explorer to navigate to the print server through My Network Places and see what it's callednow .  Otherwise, you could ask your network/system administrator.  You should know... original title: unable to browse the network.

All computers must be on a working group to see and access on the same network otherswise, you won't have access to each other.

Pls check your computers under workinggroup (domain name)

Check if your firewall is not blocking.

  • Windows 7 does not print on network printers

    Hello

I have a network with 3 Windows 7 Machines and 3 network printers, all have static IP addresses.  Printers are all different manufacturers...

I can't seem to print correctly to all printers of 2 machines, but having problems with the 3rd.

Used to work, it has stopped working recently.

Printers will install correctly and appear to be working, but then I get a yellow exclamation on printers.  When I try to print to the printer, the jobs go to the queue printing, and finally, I get a message in the queue - "printing error".  I do not receive a message printer offline."

I can successfully ping command on the ip addresses of printers, and appropriate answers.

The only way I am able to use these printers on this particular machine is if I connect to them by another machine of work (shared printers) is not a viable solution, as I then have the machine on that printers are shared from to be able to print.

I tried a lot of different things; creating a user profile, uninstall and reinstall the printers, unchecking SMTP in the advanced settings of the printers, deleted and then recreated ports, the system restore when printers were working properly, etc.

I have scanned for viruses, etc.

When I try to print to a specific printer, the software that is installed to manage the printer will also open as if work goes to print, but it never did and finally error.

I did a lot of research in the forums and tried almost all outside to reload the operating system.  It is a last resort...

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

It is a coup in the water, but on the only other thing I can think of.

You can reset the print subsystem in its default state by running the following Microsoft Fixit routine--> http://go.microsoft.com/?linkid=9829711

I suggest you uninstall all software related to printers using the control panel > programs and features before running the Fixit.  Close all open applications before running the Fixit.

The Fixit allows uninstalling all printers and requires a reboot after the execution.  After the reboot, reinstall using freshly downloaded software from the website of the manufacturer of the printer.

Details of what the routine Fixit are described here--> http://blogs.technet.com/b/askperf/archive/2012/02/24/microsoft-fixit-for-printing.aspx?Redirected=true&PageIndex=1

I'm trying to connect my booklet 70CT to an existing LAN. I use a Fast Ethernet Linksys PC card in the booklet, connect a Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router on a LAN port.

There are two other computers connected to the router network OK. I did all the installation procedures in the manual of the PC card and everything seemed to be working normally.

When I double click on network neighborhood on the booklet, I get a screen with "Entire network" in this topic. When I double-click it, I have a sign saying "Unable to browse the network."

    Help, please.

    Hello

I searched on the Microsoft Web site to some proposals of solution and found this:
Unable to browse the network"when you click Network Neighborhood
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/260214

This problem may occur if there is a key to logon automatically in the registry at the following location:
    EntVersion entVersion\Network\Real Mode Net

It seems that you can solve this problem by deleting the registry location AutoLogon value listed in the section "Cause".

    Also check this:

  • Re: Satellite L450-173 - unable to detect wireless networks

I have a similar problem with my satellite L450-173.

I bought this laptop without OS and installed win 7.
I found and downloaded the latest drivers toshiba WLAN support and download page and my Device Manager indicates that the device is turned on and that it works correctly.

However, I am unable to detect the networks without wire in the box (alltough there are at least three in the district).
I have a home network with the router. When I connect to my laptop with a LAN cable, it connects automatically without problem. But I can not connect via my wireless connection.

Windows troubleshooting is of no use.
I downloaded the chipset drivers updated too (following the suggestion by an online forum), but which did not help at all.
My "doctor Conectivity" reported that my wlan adapter is 'on', but when I enter the 'Radar' option, it reports that this wireless network device is disabled. I tried to disable and then enable once again, but it did not help. I also used the option reset address IP - no use. My IP address is set to auto because my network is connected by the router.
I tried pressing FN + F8 but I have not noticed any change.

Indicator LED for a wireless connection at the front of the laptop is always red.
I read many forums linking similar issues to win 7, but I have not found any solution.

    Any ideas?

    Hello

Eventually the WiFi network is disabled and so you cannot connect to the Wlan router.
If the FN + F8 does not change the status of WLan, then it would mean that Don t FN buttons work properly have you checked if the other FN keys work?

You must reinstall the VAP (value added package) to obtain the keys FN working again
If you want to use the Fn + F8 then you should see (flashcard) WLan icon on the screen

    Another idea;
You can toggle the wifi in the Device Manager-> card Wlan-> properties-> Advanced tab.
    Check this box

PS: If the BIOS is not updated, then you need to update it too!

  • Can't print on network printers after Microsoft Update

I have 3 other computer Windows XP SP3, which, after having done the automatic updates in the last 4 days. (Week of (13/09/2010) have lost the ability to print on network printers.  Computers are different subnets, using different brands of printers.  In any printer IP can be crazy and network connections are good.

Have deleted updates using Add / Remove programs in Control Panel.  Have deleted the printers and ports and re-installed, changed the settings of the printer to print directly, restarted the printer-queue service.  All have failed to correct the problem.  What Miss me?

I found the solution to my computers.  Apparently, there was an interaction between Windows Update and McAfee in which McAfee ended up with a list of blocked for the server application entry of spooling print:

The application name = Spooler SubSystem App
    Application = C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\SPOOLSV path. EXE

Once I changed the permissions to "Allow" for this application, I was able to print directly to the printer again.

Here's how to map a network (or folder) drive in Vista: http://www.vista4beginners.com/Map-Network-Drive.

Here's how to install a Vista network printer: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Install-a-printer-on-a-home-network.  I don't know why you would need a script because if the printer is properly installed and that the security settings are correct, all users must be able to print to this and no script should be held (or do you have something in mind).

    I hope this helps.

  • Windows 7 network printers (2 always be disconnected) * not SNMP * printer drivers

I have 100 pc windows 7 on this network and only 1 pc is having this problem with 2 printers.  For 6 months now, I've been googling and trying to solve problems with 2 of its 5 printers showing "offline."  All printers are installed via the server here on the site in the same way.  And only 2 of them are continually have this problem.

    I changed the SNMP

All printers are on a static IP address already

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the printer through the server

I deleted the ports and reinstall them manually manually using add/add printer port Wizard

I removed from the print queue and restart the print spooler on his machine and my server

I reinstalled the spooler to print on the local computer

I updated to the latest manufacturers drivers for printers

Printers in question are a 7800 Xerox and a scanner/copier Kyocera 5050.  Al these printers work and operatin fine on all the other machines on the network here, even when this machine is displayed in offline mode.  I'm tired of this issue.  We 2 of us in serving this office and 7 remote offices to the tune of 300 employees (I know, its ridiculous), and I don't have an easy way to simply rebuild his machine as we're overwhelmed, it is a production machine / I don't have a machine of temp I can put on that will be all applications will need.  If someone has a magic that they can send in a box, I'd be beyond grateful.

  • Unable to Ping IP across 2 IPsec Tunnels

    Hello world

    Here's the Setup program

    Server1 - layer 2 switch-ASA1 -L2 tunnel-ASA2 -Layer2 tunnel-ASA3- layer 2 switch - Server2.

    Server1 IP 10.31.2.83/28

    Server2 IP 10.31.2.35/28

Server1 has its default gateway to ASA1

Server1 can ping the ASA1 but cannot ping the Server2.

ASA1 is also unable to ping server2.

    Ping 10.31.2.35

ACL is allowing traffic, routing, crypto card also allows the traffic.

    What else can I check?

    Any help is appreciated.

    Concerning

    Mahesh

I don't understand what you mean with Tunnel of Layer2. Is it relevant to this question?

    IPsec is involved?

Do you have any troubleshooting basic Layer 3? Check the routing information?

    (1) the ASA2 has 2 interfaces, one for each tunnel?

    • ASA2 there transatlantic lines?

      • 10.31.2.80 255.255.255.240 to ASA1
      • 10.31.2.32 to ASA3 255.255.255.240

    (2) ASA2 has only one interface for the two tunnels?

    • You same-security-traffic allow intra-interface?
    • If IPsec is involved, understanding Cryptography ACLs on ASA2
      • 10.31.2.80/28-> 10.31.2.32/28 to ASA3
      • 10.31.2.32/28-> 10.31.2.80/28 to ASA1

The following command will help all three ASAs:

    SH, route

    HS card crypto

SH crypto ipsec his (look for the counters of packets on the SAs)
