  Thanks Anubha Goel, final I got it to work... The serial number in the physical box that you buy in the store wasn't the number for the software.  It was the serial number in the cloud, very difficult to know when you see a serial number in the box with the Cd online.  But thanks for the reply to my post.   As indicated, with an upgrade (apparently what you bought) you will get a request for both the new S/N in the old S/N - assuming that a qualifying product is not installed).

  Thanks for the comments.  Drive and cleaning tool has not helped.  We found that the add-on PDF associated with FrameMaker was causing the issue.  Uninstalled FM and the add-on, and then was able to install Acrobat Pro without any problem.  Then reinstalled FM.  Weird, but it worked.

  Pandora requires the Shockwave Flash plugin and perhaps others, to be active. I would not disable all of these plugins that you disabled. Try to activate shockwave flash, then by restarting Firefox to see if that solves the problem. If it is not the case, try to activate the rest of your plugins.
