  You can also download the Mac in trial version of the software through the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.

  Deactivation requires the opening of the program and choosing the option deactivate.  If you uninstalled only the applications, which did not turn them off.  Try to contact Adobe support via chat and ask them to reset all the your activations.

  CS5.5 does not require a login, so there must be something else requiring that you.  Maybe it's the security of your system requires you to login to allow installation.

  I recently bought the MacBook Pro Retina Display and the Creative Suite 6 - Design and Web Premium. I got a physical copy of the disc, but it is not a hard drive of this computer. I registered the product online and have the serial number, but I don't see how to download the software without having to use the disc.

  Because you bought a disc you won't have a download link available in your order history. Download the trial version here or if possible to copy the contents of the disks on a USB and copy them to your computer in order to install the product (be sure to copy the content of the USB key to the machine. If you try to install directly from the USB you will get an error).
