I can separate the videos I edited on movie maker, but it doesn't let me do in one video... How can I fix?
I have a report due soon that requires 10 minutes of video. My camera records only 5 minutes, because it sucks like that. I put two videos on computer, I edited one, then the other. But, when I tried to put together it wouldn't let me. I checked everyhing! Is it possible to put together two videos or what I need to find another site?
Hello Caitycait14,
1. What is the operating system installed on your computer?
2. what happens when you try to open the edited video?
You can check the link that will give you information on how to edit the film and add two films below:

Thank you

I just need to click on "object > insert html ' muse and paste the code there?
My video ID is video_background which is defined by the widget by default, I should change the code below:
//show/hide intro
$(window).ready(function() {
$('#video_background').fadeIn('fast', function() {
//wait 5 seconds and fade out
$(this).delay(5000).fadeOut(2000);
});
});
The site I posted has no video in there and I don't have the widget that Peter sugested however, you can replace the startup code Nacy O made (the black with bit blob going around it) and it should work... understand that a ve\ideo will have to be downloaded by your browser clients before they can see it, so it's another delay for them.
The code you posted is the code of downtime and that seeks a DIV not called "intro" so no do not change his name...
A mandatory opening text
After 5 seconds, this block will disappear.
Everything between the two div tags is startup code and replace you it with you video and then use the muse "object > insert html" tool to place on your page.
The demo includes three bits;
- the body or the div tag is the code shown above and goes into the tool "insert html".
- a header code that defines styles i.e. the yellow background and text... cela goes in your location of metadata page
- The final code is the timeout in jQuery you had but do not change the name to the background image unless you also change the name of your div to match... Nacy O put it in its footer code that is correct for DW, but Muse has no footer as such area so I used a master metadata slot to the same effect. The important point is that it descends UNDERNEATH other codes.
Have a play with it and see how you go...

need help with video editing in Movie Maker
I'm editing video on Windows Movie Maker and you want to cover a bite with a b-roll. Y at - it something to do this, and can it be done? I have not found a way to go beyond covering both the video and audio.
Not sure what you mean when you say b-roll...
Do you want the audio to continue while you add different content to the video track?
If_yes_you can drag a second instance of the video Clip on the audio / music
and then divide the video track if your can add video, pictures, clips etc. Of course
If you add 5 seconds the new hardware... you will have to remove 5 seconds of original.The following tutorial was written for WIn XP, Movie Maker, but it can offer a few ideas:
===================================================
For the timeline, drag a second copy of the video to Audio / Music
follow and drag it left or right to align on the Audio track.Then right-click / mute the Audio track.
Now, you can split the video anywhere you want... CTRL + L... and delete
a section... then insert a Photo and give it the same length as the
segment you removed.Here's another method:
Split your video clip on each side of the area where will be the stills.
Now... drag the part cut on the audio / music. BTW... If you want to
to add a second 5 again... Remove 5 seconds of the video clip. (info below
splitting if you need it)Drag your fixed shots to the timeline and drop it off at the place where
you have deleted the video.The Audio clip on the audio / music can be dragged to the right or left to
adjust its position.More information about the Division...
"Split a Clip in MM2.1.
Drag the audio clip on the timeline.
Play the video/audio by clicking on the 'Play' button under the display screen.
You will see the playback indicator (vertical line), advancing through the
timeline.Click on the "Pause" button at the location where you want to cut and type...
CTRL + L or click the "Split" button at the bottom of the display screen.
(you can also make adjustments by dragging the playback indicator)Make splits as much as you want and remove unwanted in law clips

Hello, sebianoti
Please use the Forum for answers and help to test Windows 7!
Windows Movie Maker is no longer included in Windows 7. Be sure to check the Windows Live Movie Maker beta available at http://download.live.com/moviemaker.

Movie Maker will not film because of "another user is running Movie Maker on this computor... publish »
I'm trying to publish a movie on this computor in Windows Movie Maker. The files are .wmv with a band his .wav and are all stored on my computor. I performed this task with success several times and there is enough free space on the computor.
When I click on publish, there are a few seconds where he tries to publish, but then the program goes into a gel and the dialog box appears with the following: "another user is running Windows Movie Maker on this computor. Please close the other session of Windows Movie Maker before starting Windows Movie Maker again".
When I click Close, there is an icon of wmv on my desk with the title of my project, but it is empty. I am the only user on this computor and I am puzzled as to why this should be implemented. I tried to turn the filters but nothing helped. One thing that I tried was to publish the band sound and the titles and credits without video files and I found it worked.
Any ideas?
Thank you Volenteer J. How would you like to know if a .wmv file is corrupt? Is there something I can do to click the .wmv files that tell me if they are corrupt? I need to identify the files that are causing my problem.
==================================================
Sorry... but it seems that I have more questions than answers.You said initially that you could publish the soundtrack and titles with success...
I was wondering if you tried to add a .wmv file to see if you could publish?What was the source of the. WMV files? They are all from the same source?
They were converted from another format? If_Yes_ maybe another
Converter would be worth a try.You change them widely? (split, rotation, transitions...)
There is a possibility that you could import the Windows Media .wmv files

After you import the MSWMM file in Windows Movie Maker, the system hangs
MSWMM FREEZES (what a surprise)
After opening MSWMM and import my project that the cursor movement will begin erraticaly i.e. movement one or two seconds after I try to point and the operation I required will take his time is erratic in the activation and the images are erratic when read.
A minute or two later everything "freezes". I had to 'Leave' to turn the computer off, wait one minute, then restart. It's so bad now, I had to stop using MSWMM, it's useless and a great disappointment to me. When I exit MM the cursor is always random for about 10 seconds. How is the mighty Microsoft Corp. cannot challenge these problems and let us get our projects?
All other times, the computer works fine. I have not downloaded anything to cause this problem. I've defragged, Spybotted Temp files deleted, disc error checked, tried different suggestions of Youtube, and restored hoping can solve it, no luck.
I run WINDOWS XP, 128 processor ATHLON, 56 k MODEM, 1.5 GB RAM, 120 GB HDD, IE7, Service Pack 3.I have made 10 videos previously and had a bad light with MM before but he managed to cope, now that's too bad. . MSWMM would be your Movie Maker project file if it is a
complex big project that you have been working on for a while it
can be to reach the limits of your system resources.Creation of several small projects is better than a large
project. If you save all of them in the movie .wmv format you
can import movie collected files and combine them into
one final film.Also... it may be interesting to try to install IE8... I remember
See the reports of users of Movie Maker who has
with IE7. Personally, I went straight from IE6 to IE8.
