I can't activate CS3 design premium after the license number

Recently, I tried to use my CS3 on Mac OS X. I received a message that licensing was erroneous and follow-up of the different subjects of the forum in order to check the FlexNet files, reinstall, and then run the diagnostics. Unfortunately, I do not disable before uninstalling. I called support and they claim to have disabled my existing activations so that I have two new available activation, even if I had to speak with 3 different resources to get this done.

I downloaded the files from the Adobe site, instead of using my discs to install again, as recommended in the forums. The installation is successful. However, when I try to activate the software, I get the following message: we are unable to activate Adobe CS3 with the error code following: 159; 18. This error code is very generic, and I'm not sure what to do next. Please help me to activate the software.

The hard drive on my Mac has no problem. I have not all Adobe entries in my hosts file. I am able to connect to the internet. My clock is updated.

Shannong67894496 I'm sorry that you are facing a license error when you try to activate.  Error 159:18 is not common.  What process did go through install Creative Suite 3 on this computer?  Did you do a clean install or copy/migrate the application and license files, from one computer to another?  What version of Mac OS you are currently trying to open on Creative Suite 3?

  • Can not activate CS4 Web Premium after the upgrade Hard Drive Mac OS x 11.3

    I can't access any program now CS4 after upgrade my hard drive to an SSD. I get a small dialog box saying "license for this product has stopped working. Error code 150:30"MacBook Pro, OS X 11.3 (el Capitan). The chat tech support person told me that CS4 is "not compatible" with El Capitan, but I've been using Cs4 for several months now with El Capitan, so it's not true.

    In the past, when I've got a new Mac or upgraded the operating system, I had the opportunity in an Adobe dialog to enter my serial number in, but this is not the case now.

    Nothing has changed since this morning except my newly upgraded hard drive. Except that this time I don't have a way to enter my serial number and reactivate.

  • Can not activate Adobe Pro XI after the failure of hard drive

    I had a HARD drive crash and had to install a new hard drive and reload all my programs as Windows 10 backup has not restored correctly.

    I have re-installed Acrobat Pro XI of a .exe file downloaded a month ago.

    When I opened Adobe in all the last month that I had was a dialog box on 'Greek' with what I guess is a 30-day countdown. I guess what the text it looks like the Greek text.

    Now all I get is a dialog box with '00' in with the text "the Greek".

    I managed on the highlighted entry and it presents me with what seems to be a form to enter my serial number.

    I enter my serial number (I have updated Acrobat multiple times). This results in a yellow box with text 'Greek' with the serial number, as I entered. Entering the number even just translates the same dialog box reappear.

    I tried the previous numbers of series without any positive result.

    Any ideas?

    I solved the problem.

    My serial number is apparently for Adobe Acrobat X Pro.

    If the page that you are connected does not work, then it should so what happens when you try?  It is possible that it could be a simple matter of enable you cookies or try a different web browser.

    I was able to activate this by installing Dreamweaver CS4. I hope that the components of the CS4 (e.g. bridge) will not interfere with the CS5 installed components previously.

    Thanks again. I had not received any errors so I tried to install it again and was able to download the product Adobe Creative Design 3 in 2008, I bought for my new computer refurbished. Everything was done using Adobe Acrobat successfully. Here's what worked. First of all, I deleted what I had downloaded from Adobe. Then I signed my Adobe account until I downloaded the product that I bought in 2008. A representative of Adobe had given me this link. It was two files, that I put in the same folder. I found some instructions that said to open the Adobe files and double-click "Setup." That downloaded files. Then when I open Photoshop it asked for my serial number, I had, fortunately.

    I reinstalled Windows 7 and CS3 Design Premium (the Windows disk is dead) without disabling CS3. I reinstalled Windows and CS3 and now I can't activate/register because the activation limit has been exceeded. The phone activation is no longer supported. I followed the instructions from helpx.adobe.com several times, but the internet remedies recommended by Adobe do not seem to work.

    Can anyone help with advice on where I go from there to get my CS3 works again? How can I get Adobe to disable the now non-existent copies.

    You should contact the Adobe Support via chat and ask them to reset your counter to activate CS3 (do not ask more than that).  CAT may be unavailable until the weekend.

    I have CS3 premium design that I loaded 64 bit Windows 7 successfully on a computer. I have 3 licenses and trying to load CS3 design premium on a computer laptop 64 bit Windows 7. I have the following message

    The minimum system requirements below is recommended to successfully run Adobe Creative Suite 3 Design Premium and is not met:

    • Screen resolution of 1024 x 768

    It is recommended that you upgrade or adjust your system to meet these minimum requirements, and then restart Setup.

    Note: my current screen resolution is 1920 x 1080 and I tried every other screen (including the 1024 x 768) resolution and continue to get the same message.

    After I click on NEXT and then accept the license agreement Setup will not install Adobe InDesign CS3 (System verification) (Note: out no checked and grayed out). I can't check Adobe InDesign CS3.

    (System check) also follows Adobe Illustrator CS3, but I can check or uncheck Adobe Illustrator CS3 (Note: (System verification) is grayed out).

    The message on the Display Options of Installation is:

    (Yellow triangle with exclamation point) The minimum system requirements below is recommended to run Adobe Illustrator CS3 correctly and is not met:

    • Screen resolution of 1024 x 768

    (Red X) The minimum system requirements below is necessary in order to launch Adobe InDesign CS3 and is on met.

    I suspect it has something to do with the resolution, but the problem persists even when you use the suggested 1024 x 768 resolution.

    VERY frustrating... and the solution found. I guess it works for the Mc and the PC (I use W7 X 64). By disabling all (or in part, for those who are multi-GPU) display cards found in the Windows Device Manager, you can force Windows to use it is display driver 'in house' credits. This gave me only two display resolutions. 800 * 600... and the ellusive never 1024 * 768. I'm running a Radeon HD 5700 on a 32 '' Vizio and tried each ground including display 1024. I even tried installation in silent mode by forcing low ground with F8 at startup, fail.

    So try to disable your display adapter during installation, and then him to again once you have finished.

    Older software against new BONES are often problematic.  The following should give you an idea of how old a CS3 system is designed for.  Anything more recent that which is specified is chancy, if you could Google versus CS3 specific systems to see if you can find someone who got lucky.
