  If you mean every 3 minutes you get disconnected so your finger is to open a session back, right click on the desktop, select Personalize downstairs, and then in the new window click on screen saver or turn it off or set the number of minutes and make sure "on Resume, display logon" is NOT selected. If it happens again every 3 minutes, return to customize, select this time power options and change the time it takes for the screen to be able to something higher.

  I noticed that when you use Spotify and Pandora, by pressing the volume buttons on iPhone adjusts system volume if a song does not play. Once a song begins to play the volume buttons to adjust the volume of the music. If the volume came to be turned up really loud the last time that the application has been used, you start to play the song at full volume to lower. Any ideas if this can be fixed? It would be nice if the volume buttons would change the volume of the music whenever you are in the application at all, not once a song begins to play.

  I understand that when you do not listen to music, and you set the volume on your iPhone, it adjusts the volume of the system as you say, but when music plays, the volume buttons to adjust volume of the song.

  This is the expected behavior and works as expected. This information can be found in the following link.

  When you are on the phone or listening to songs, movies or other media, the buttons on the side of the iPhone set the audio volume. Otherwise, the buttons control the volume of the ringer, alerts and other sound effects.

  I have no sound on my computer. When I go into Control Panel, volume control, it I cannot adjust the volume control. I have my computer set up for automatic downloads of microsoft, so I can't tell what I recently downloaded.

  When in Windows volume controls do not work, it usually means the underlying Windows application that control audio is corrupted. You need to retrieve sndvol32.exe is your partition recovery or recovery disc that came with your computer. The process for this varies slightly, but full instructions about recovering Windows volume are available on this tutorial.

  I have an Aspire laptop 5733Z and I love her dearly.  Recently, I lost the ability to adjust the volume using the Fn key keyboard shortcut with upward or down arrow keys.  I have uninstalled and installed the Realtek HD driver.  I called technicians to Answersby.com and they couldn't help.  Did anyone out there has had this problem and is there a solution.  Thank you for your assitance on it.  Ron

  Hi JoAnn. The problem occurs when you try to listen to music directly from your music folder or a CD? If the matter is not, probably in the video itself... ie... level record low volume.

  Control Panel / sounds / playback.  Double-click the device you want to operate.  Click the level and place it where you want and that should take care of it.
