  Basically speaking, Dell officially supports Windows 2000 and Windows XP on Dell Latitude D610 (and other models of Dx10).

  However it can really run Windows Vista and 7 at least, as long as you max out the RAM (2 GB, 2 x 1 GB, can be purchased at a great price in eBay) and install the drivers, in particular graphics drivers, look in Device Manager and see what drivers are needed manually.

  If you're lucky to have a D610 with ATi graphics card then you can even run Windows 8 and 10 with all drivers available, and I can tell you that it won't be slow dog not unlike a lot of people say, I don't have something similar (a HP Compaq nx8220) in common use. Keep as lean as possible (not bloatwares, anti-virus etc.) system, and it will serve you well.

  Method 1.
  Here's how you can solve this problem:

  a. download the latest version of Windows Live Messenger available onhttp://explore.live.com/windows-live-Messenger-XP

  b. update of Windows XP through Windows Update.

  c. go to "C:\Program Files\Windows Live" and remove the 'Messenger' folder (Note: replace 'C' with your root drive letter)

  d. go to "C:\programdata" (Note: replace 'C' with your root drive letter) and remove Windows Live install and WLInstaller, if you have a

  e. restart the PC.

  f. run the installation program that you downloaded.

  I am ready to go to our VPN ISE users. It was a great test and it seems that we are ready to roll.

  Then comes a new version of our corporate AntiVirus software. We had Kaspersky EndPoint Security v8 since last August. Kaspersky now comes to Endpoint Security v10. It took about 3 months for compliance in ISE Module to allow the NAC Agent to recognize KESv10. But now, when we connect I get an error from the NAC stating bascially that the version of installed KES is no posture installation rules and he can't do anything. (see attachment for the exact wording)

  I remember when we first set up the ISE, there was a screen that broke down the different manufacturers of AV and the different versions that would support ISE/NAC. I have no idea where it is now.

  How to I update my sanitation/policies/rules to take account of two KES10 including, or simply change to allow version 8 +, or even ANY version?

  Hi, I bought Vista 64 bit earlier and it almost made me for the mac, but when I first tried win7 beta and it was great on a lower technical platform and could not wait for full details. so, I bought a brand new platform last i7 CPU and 6 GB DDR 3 channels and the latest Nvidia 275GTX 1765 MB Vram Grfx and could not do more than what was and is still ongoing. I installed my new win 7 64 bit 1 and was a bit off on how he has been slow to version beta on a platform nearly 5 years I used 7800GTX Athlon 64 4200, as what are you do looks great and moves faster than this in. * Vista. All my old game where _ while people with nearly the same and less spec flight here by so I switched to the 32 bit (good by my 3 extra GB installed) running. It was a little better, but the games that are 3 years old just down or blue screen. SO why go back in the power PC (XBox 360 + dales come to mind) are really trying to kill the power of the pc to the console, PDA etc.? So it seems that XP is the only one for some UM with games, virtual xp mode is a waste. So if you have something good, well, until a better operating system just to please let the people have because we are all put you into your work time back. Please notify.
