  Please check if this happens in Safe Mode. Safe mode disables the installed Extensionsand themes (appearance) in (Alt + T) Tools > Add-ons. Hardware acceleration is also temporarily disabled - manual setting is Tools > Options > Advanced > general > use hardware acceleration when available. All these settings/options/additional custom modules can also be individually or collectively disabled/enabled/changed to normal mode of Firefox to check if an extension, theme, option or a hardware acceleration is causing issues.
