    It is possible to set a clock on an internal counter (for example ' Dev1/ctr0"):

    using what it says is correct:

    This means that if you do not use an external signal as clock you can use the sample clock to HAVE it on board or at the output of the internal counter.

    So in both cases you have to use a fictitious task you need only for the generation of the internal clock (HAVE or CTR)

  • Laptop 15-AD129DS: installed Win7 on 15-AD129DS-lack of Driver: Acquisition of PC data and Signal Processing controller

    I recently installed Windows 7 on my laptop HP 15-AD129DS.  In the Device Manager miss me the driver for PC Data Acquisition and Signal Processing controller.   There is also an unknown device without driver right below in the section "other devices."

    I understand that this ususaly installed with drivers from the chipset.  But it didi not install in two different tests when installing Win7.  The Intel site seems to be of no assistance, or their driver utility.

    Can you lead me to the correct drivers?

    I use LV 8.0 and am acquire signals of an ecg machine using the NOR-DAQmx with a sampling rate of 1000smpls/s... the thing I want to do is, get the table with the complete information and move on to another VI for analysis... But the problem I am facing is, as the sampling rate is 1000 and my DAQmx is a while loop I get just 1000 values in the table and not the complete table with the record for more than 60 seconds...

    Can someone tell me please a method to get all the values in the table, I mean for the session of any acquisition (maybe 5 minutes)...

    Use something like this:

    But the DAQ Assistant, putting your own code DAQmx (for something as simple as buying 1000 samples, DAQ Assistant is good!)

    Make sure the Array function to build is set to concatenate entries, also convert Dynamic Data has the value table 1 d of scalars-automatic (but this is only important with the DAQ Assistant)

    I'm having some trouble with segments of waveform of updationg through my acquisition of data personal omega 3000.

    The goal is to generate a 1 Hz square wave, which updates of each cycle.

    I wanted to avoid generating a new waveform of each cycle, I tried to update.

    In the example given by omega, a waveform consisting of 5 segments is generated, and then the third segment (index 2) is updated.

    I tried to rebuild so that a single segment is generated and then updated, but I failed miserably.

    Configuration of the example VI in this way is not too.

    In fact, I'm not even able to set the example VI to update other segments than the third.

    I guess that 'Wavelet index' is the right point to set it, but if I put it to sth. other than 2 it just refreshes not anyting.

    I can change the five segments of the curve and the update also, but I'm not able to update for nothing, but the second segement.

    I hope it's just a simple value to change, but I can not find...

    Does anyone have an idea what I might try?

    I don't know why, but removing the status of wave DAQIO VI sub set.

    I'd be really interested to know why the VI behaves like that anyway, so if anyone has an idea...

    If you are sampling of chaque.01s and you want to write a snack every 2 s, what about all the other samples?  You want to just throw away?  You read so 200 samples in 2 seconds.  But you want to write a sample.  You can do it if you don't mind losing the other 199 samples.

    You could use the elapsed timer function and the release of the elapsed time of a structure of business wire.  Put your writing inside the real deal function.  Nothing in the case of false.  Make sure that all of the timer to reset automatically.  If every two seconds, the case will be set to true, and will be called the write function.

    I'm a big supporter of the architecture of producer/consumer .  But this is the place that I recommend.  The DAQmx Configure Logging does all that for you!

    Note: You will want to use a table instead of a graph here.

    The problem you are experiencing, it is that you have a race condition for your variable to "stop". You write to it both the producer and the consumer. When you press the stop button, it will place a stop command, and then set stop true. In your break in the producer State, you set stop to false.

    The race condition occurs because you don't know in which order the variable stop will be set to true or false! Your shutdown state could be executed before labview stop sets to true, the stop State will define then stop to false, and then the structure case will mark the high true. This is actually what is happening, and the reason why your code isn't able to be restarted.

    You need to fix this race condition to make your code robust and work properly. One way to do is to write only stop in the loop of producer (your loop with the structure of the event). Take a look at my enclosed solution.

  • acquisition of simultaneous data on 4-channel - AG6000A

    I'm looking for analog waveforms with a range of AG6000A with respective drivers. I can do it on one channel, it works perfectly.

    I want to extend to 4 channels, so that the LV reads all 4 channels simultaneously. Reading is now achieved by screw 4 'ag6000a read-only waveform' but if I run the system, only 3. channel acquires data.

    Does anyone have an idea how to handle 4 all 4 channels at the same time?

    Why do not you look at the example called Agilent series 600 acquire several waveforms? He acquires two channels and can be easily modified to read from four.

    What is the specific driver I need?

    The drivers only I don't have installing is USB 3.0. There is none is available for windows 10 and I tried to install the version of windows 7 in compatibility mode, but it has not installed because my laptop did not meet minimum requirements.

    My display is dead so I use an external monitor until I buy a new screen as the Acer warranty refuses to fix it. I don't know if this has something to do with it or not, but I thought I should talk about.

    Acer help me as this is a used laptop.

    -J' have a V3 - 572 s g - 543

    -I just did a clean install of windows 10

    -Install all drivers of 10 Windows Acer support page

    -Reinstall the chipset and and other drivers several times

    -Windows could not install driver and windows is up-to-date

    This will probably be the last Acer product, I buy, pacifier Acer support, they won't help you at all.

    EDIT: I decided to install the chipset driver Windows 8.1 and it worked. No more error! Yay!

    If someone encounters this problem, just downgrade chipset driver Windows 8.1 for your device.

  • Installation DAQmx 9.1.1 with LabView 8.2, but focused on the acquisition of library data do not appear

    I'm under LabView 8.2 on Windows XP, with an NI PCI-MIO-16XE-50 card. I tried to install DAQmx 9.1.1 on my system, but libraries DAQ do they not appear in the folder C:\Program NIUninstaller Instruments\LabVIEW 8.2\vi.lib.

    Here is the chronology of the events:

    After you add the DAQ card to my computer, I installed DAQmx 9.4. When I learned that 9.4 DAQmx is incompatible with LabView 8.2, I uninstalled and replaced with DAQmx 9.1.1 and installed the patch.

    I can see my device in MAX, but DAQ Assistant is not listed under functions > Express > entry in LabView.

    From advice on forums, I tried using Add/Remove programs to change NI DAQmx 9.1.1. Under 'Application Development Support' I see "Support of LabView 8.2" has a green check mark, but the text in the right panel says "this feature will not be installed. A newer version of this product is already installed on your computer. »

    I tried to "Repair" NI DAQmx 9.1.1 (and patch), but did not see a difference.

    I guess I need to uninstall the latest version of "Support of LabVIEW 8.2" before installing OR-DAQ 9.1.1, but there is no element of that name in Add/Remove Programs > National Instruments software. How uninstall this version of LabView Support for DAQmx 9.1.1 will install correctly?

    Or, if this is not the source of my problem, what is?

    I created the VI to display the last 100 values on a chart and on average every ten values on another graph. So when 100 values on the first graph, the values of the ten (where each is the average of 10) are displayed on another. The code I created for this purpose is attached.

    I don't think I realized that I started to because:

    The X axis is time in seconds and no number for each value, unless there is a value acquired every second.

    If I pass the highlight performance, average Bulletin Board expect top 10 values are displayed on the waveform table. It should then display a single average value. He should do it for every 10 iterations. However, it is not the case.

    Could someone if please change the code to me and advise on how to change x axis of time to any other variable where necessary.

    In code, you do mobile window.  However, from what you describe, you want a fixed window without overlap.  I changed the following code, see the attachment.

    1. I change the x-axis of time at the point.

    2. I put the 2nd table in a box structure.  The 2nd table will update only when the loop iternation is divisible by 10.  Let me know does this work for you.
