I can't click on the icons at the top of a site. What is the cause?

I have firefox and is having a strange problem today. When I'm on facebook, I can't click on the icons at the top. I do not click on the message, friend notifications, location, profile icons and do not click on the one that allows to disconnect. So I can't log out yet. I mean do not click on it is when I put the cursor over these icons, it does not change in the finger. When I left click it in any case, nothing happens. This does not occur in internet explorer, but I want to continue to use firefox. What is the cause? I also noticed that this happens not just on facebook. I uninstalled and reinstalled firefox. I restarted the PC. It did not help.

The extension of the Yahoo! toolbar reported that causes this problem.

    Hello

    1. what security software is installed on your computer?

2 have you made changes on the computer before this problem?

    3. do you get any error code or error message while starting?

I would suggest trying the following methods and check if it helps.

    Method 1:

Start in safe mode and check if the problem persists, if the problem does not persist then the issue may be due to any third-party application. To determine what third-party application is causing this question the computer place in the State of clean boot in safe mode and then restart the computer in normal mode...

Step 1: Start Windows Vista in safe mode:

Step 2: How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a boot in Windows Vista or in Windows Vista:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

Note: once you have completed troubleshooting, try the procedure described in step 7 to reset the computer to start as usual.

    Method 2:

Run the scan tool (SFC) System File Checker and check if it helps.

How to use the tool File Checker system to troubleshoot missing or corrupted on Windows Vista system files: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833

Also use Microsoft Safety Scanner and check if there is no threat of viruses.

    Microsoft safety scanner: http://www.microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. During these 10 days, it will remove all the files infected by the virus and records. I suggest you create a backup of your data, and then install Microsoft Safety Scanner.

    Hope the information is useful.

Try Firefox SafeMode to see how it works there.

A way of solving problems, which disables most of the modules.

(If you use it, switch to the default theme).

    • You can open the Firefox 4, 5, 6, 7 SafeMode pressing the SHIFT key when you use the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
    • Or use the Help menu option, click restart with the disabled... modules while Firefox is running.

Do not choose anything at the moment, just use 'continue in safe mode.

To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before using the shortcut of Firefox (without the Shift key) to open it again.

If it's good in Firefox SafeMode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to understand that one.

  • Trying to format a partition that has an extra on BONE. I can't click on the format of ideas?

    Unable to format drive

trying to format a partition that has an extra on BONE. I can't click on the format of ideas?

    Hi Dave2474,

I recommend to format from the disk (disk operating system) otherwise, it will boot entry.

Note: Make sure that you back up important data before formatting the disk.

You can also view the article mentioned for more information below:

Create and format a hard disk partition

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/fr-FR/Windows-Vista/create-and-format-a-hard-disk-partition

    Data loss caveat:

Converting a hard disk partition or volume from NTFS to FAT32 requires that you reformat the partition, which deletes all the data on this subject. Be sure to back up data that you want to keep before you begin.

    Hope this information helps.

I just installed Lightroom CC 2015 and when it opens after 5 or 10 seconds video flashes up "" look at an overview of Lightroom and its features". It is not possible to cancel or return to Lightroom. I can just click on the play button and after that, Lightroom crashes.

I uninstalled Lightroom, re-installed, but everything remains the same. After clicking on the play button, the video window is black. I can only kill Lightroom in the Task Manager.

    I use Windows 7.

    Thank you for helping me.

OK guys, I have a solution. Press escape [ESC] to close the video window. Yes I know... It took less than hour of my time to understand this. • When you use the webcam, I can't click in the Flash window

    Hi all

I am trying to run the video chat on anonymous Omegle chat website (requires Flash 10 +). When I connect, the Flash works great except for one problem: when the window appears asking me to allow my camera I can't do anything. I can move my mouse over the button allow, but if I click, it does nothing. Do not help buttons, and I have to apologize to people for my camera being broken, forcing them to decide to unplug. I want an end to this nonsense as soon as possible, as it used to work fine.

I am running Flash Player 11.2.202.236, Firefox (not sure which version) and Ubuntu (Linux distribution) 12.04.

    Thanks for the replies.

go to your Ubuntu Software Center and search for "compiz" If there is a green check mark on the icon that you have installed.  If you are uncomfortable with uninstall, select the icon and click on the button Delete.  After that uninstall it, restart your system and see if that solves your problem...

Alternatively, you can tab within the settingsui and select items via enter key or the space key
