I can't have my admin rights

I'm really sorry because I'm not clear, and sorry for the bad grammar will explain more clearly as steps:
1st of all: I don't have the permission to copy or cut or ether.

2nd: I can't run a Setup or to run as administrator or else as cmd or command prompt run as administrator.

3rd: I don't have full control and when I open drive c: the message appears and tells me access denied.

4th: I'm on the administrator user.

5th: I can't make a new user or open the user burst.

6th: when I try to run the command as administrator prompt another message appears and says (network error)
Windows cannot access c:\windows\system32\cmd.exe (in blue font)
and the error code is (0x800704b3)

I don't know why this message because I can't open the c: drive
here and boxes and the first on the (diagnosis) is left and right is (cancel)
what I do:

1st of all: I search the internet on this site there is someone will have of my problem, they told him to go to the command prompt andrun as admin (I can't do witch) and write net user Administrator / access: Yes
I try but it dose does not let me into safe mode to try to run as administrator it dose does not work ether and I try the recovery system dose not work also

2nd: I take the cmos battery, it dose not work. :(

3rd: I'm going to restore mode to restore but when I remove the battery it delete restore:(witch est malchance:() point

4th: I try to open the command prompt and run as administrator while I'm in recovery mode, it actually works to run when I'm in the command prompt as administrator, I write this (net user Administrator / access: Yes) and was told that the order is properly I close the command prompt and I have tried to copy or spent it dose not work:(je redémarre l'ordinateur aussi) , it dose not work.

so please help me and thank you for your concern and for quick response!

I suspect that the OP had installed a third party security or package of encryption that allows the execution of any file, but stopped displaying the contents of any folder, even the Windows system folders. Trying to seize property or modify the ACL of any folder when logged in under an account admin (even the system account!) failed. A number of remote support sessions has not solved the problem.

Finally the OP started his machine with a CD to boot Ubuntu, its files on external media, then re-installed Windows.
Problem solved.

How can I get back Admin rights no one has them on the computer

IIRC, you cannot delete the built-in account named 'Administrator', so check first to see if it's really over:

If you have XP Pro, then press CTRL + ALT + DELETE twice at the Welcome screen

If you have XP Home (or XP Pro), restart mode without fail (repeatedly press F8 startup just after reboot) and the administrator account must be indicated on the Welcome screen.

Unless you have changed it, the password for the built-in Administrator account is blank (no password).

Once you sign in as an administrator, go to control panel > users and create a new account with administrative privileges (or give these rights to an account existing).  Do not use the built-in for common daily tasks administrator account.

I think you're GROUND (so outtat chance).

Generally, you can press F8 or F10 to choose what you want to boot from.  Depends on your system and the manufacturer.  If you can press F10 and select the CD/DVD drive, it should start.  Either that or get into the BIOS and make the CD/DVD the first boot device.

She still does not start, if the CD is good.

I hope this helps and good luck

  • How can I get my admin right back on windows 8?

Sorry for just jump but I also had a similar situation. I tried to fix my Norton security and one of the options that he has been to change the settings of the user account and I finished my account 'Administrator' to 'Standard' user switching. Now, I have no administrative rights. I tried to put it back, but I was unable to because a pop-up appears asking you to admin password to be able to continue, but the question is does not provide a space for the password and only 'no' is the option. Can you guys help out me? It is also the only account on my laptop. I tried the command prompt thing, but it did not work for semi-bas says access denied error 5 or something like that. This option also appears differently for me compared to the tutorial that I saw on another forum. The tutorial showed that the command prompt will say (something like), while mine says c: and when I try the whole "net user administrator / Active: Yes" it says access denied error 5! I really appreciate if you guys can help me!

Let me know if you need more information, I'm not the most knowledgeable about computer terms or procedures but I'll try my best to provide the appropriate information required!

I'm afraid that's all I can think of.  The built-in Administrator account is supposed to activate during Safe Mode if there is no other (other than the built-in) administrator-level accounts, but perhaps it has been corrupted or deleted.

At this point, the only thing I can really think to do is to reinstall your operating system from the system CD or recovery if the manufacturer included a restore partition.

  • I have no admin rights on my account user has administrator rights!

    Hi all

Clean install windows 7 on SSD, in the installation process, I made an account. Who has administrator rights. However I regularly get error messages (while trying to share or move folders or windows update) saying that I don't have the rights to do so.

Check user accounts (I see my own (admin) and the comments which is disabled).

    Anyone?

No, I'm afraid that the restriction of administrator UAC is there for good. Short of turning off UAC, you're stuck with right, click Run as administrator. FWIW, I need these privileges all the time but have accepted the warning of the UAC rather that turn off UAC. It may take a while, but sooner or later, you will get the UAC popping up when least expected. Be careful as acknowledging the warning when you do not expect his speech.

If you prefer typing with the right mouse button, click on the main windows then type explorer.exe and press Ctrl + Shift + Enter. You will always get the UAC but may prefer this method to achieve this.

In short, learn to accept the UAC as the price to pay to use an operating system also excellent that must provide the parental control for the lowest common denominator.
  • Directions to the win XP home ADMIN rights.

Hi I'm Davie. I reinstalled win XP home on a friend's computer, everything is good, except when I try to install the dongle of vodaphone, right ADMIN denied? I can't seem to find the right ADMIN option, can help to aneyone.

The first step is to determine if you really have the Admin rights or not.  The quick test is to right click on the button 'start '. If one of the choices in the pop-up window is "Open All Users", then you have the Admin rights.

If you don't have administrator rights, you must log in as administrator.  On the screen, press Ctrl-Alt-Delete twice and enter in the user name box and the administrator password in the administrator password box.  If you have not assigned a password, then leave the password empty.

If you don't have administrator rights, then the problem is most likely a problem of access to a particular directory or registry entry.  Because this could be almost anything, you should probably contact the manufacturer of your dongle and work the problem with them.

  • Unable to gain admin rights and cannot do a restore

I've lost my admin to the standard rights. I tried to restore the computer in safe mode. I can't do anything at all because he says that I don't have the admin rights and communicate with my admin due to group policy. I was looking for things to the top and it doesn't let me do anything group policy and admin rights are gone. Also it does not let me start repair system or restore on a windows CD. This is to try to use the right windows installation cd. Any help will be appreciated. I thought to do a repair or restore I only need a windows installation cd and it does not matter what version it was.

Each installation of Windows has an active admin account at the beginning. You can't avoid it. What happened to yours?

You can easily run system restore using system repair your CD to start the machine in Repair Mode. No password is required.

When you're done, plan ahead a little and create, test and document a spare, even admin account that you have a spare House key. This will save you a lot of trouble.

PS CS6 has been installed on my work pc. The license was approved. When I open PS, an error occurs stating that the volume of work could not be opened because the file is locked. I changed the folder of files to work from C to D, but still it wouldn't work. PS can not be opened. Must I admin rights?

to test, click with the right button on the exe, and then click "Run as Administrator".

  • On my computer, I have admin rights, but I get refused and told to log into Admin

Any time I try to install a program or have a problem, I am trying to fix, I get an error.  Some are "access denied", "you must login as an administrator" and the popular "insufficient privileges, you might neet to sign as an administrator."  My user name is Debbie and I have 'computer management' right.  This be corrected without involving Home Land Security?

    Thank you

    Debbie

When you install programs, you must Access the files in several directories - usually in the "C:\Program Files" folder and the "C:\Windows" folder and registers "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users" and the system and software.  All of these directories, files, and registriy entries can have controlled access to allow or refuse any use.  The "Administrators" group contains users who are generally given by default access to these areas simply by being a member of this group.  However don't forget that there is nothing magical about an administrator in this regard.  Authorisation may be refused to a Director like any other user.  Administrators have the ability, though, to change the permissions.

The quick test to verify that you are an administrator must right click on 'start '.  If "Open All Users" is one of the choices that appear, then you have administrator privilege.

Assuming you really are administrator, then you need to find which file or folder or registry entry has inappropriate permissions.  You can do this by using the 'Security' tab when you right click on a file or folder and select "Properties".  The Security tab will be present at file sharing Simple is disabled, so if you have XP Home Edition, you need start safe mode and log in as administrator to get this tab.  There are literally thousands of files and records concerned.  You will see that it is faster to re - install Windows in order to find the problem area - but a sample could be useful.

Several people have reported this problem recently which leads me to suspect that malware may be involved.  You can run a scan for malware on your computer.

    Hi kuentin,.

Welcome to the Microsoft Answers site!

    (1) - what do you mean you have only 1 user account?

When you set up Windows, you will need to create a user account. This account is an administrator account to allow you to set up your computer and install any programs that you want to use. And that's why the user account you are using is the administrator account.

There is no way that you can create an administrator account, or by using a Standard account.

    (2) are you having issues during installation of the software or opening it?

    (3) what exactly happens when you try to open the software application?

    (4) should be codes error or error messages, if any?

    (5) what software are you trying to install or open?

I suggest you go to the link below and read for more information on user accounts.

  • Enter a share with read rights and have read/write rights

I have a folder with my photos on my Mac. In this folder, I have all my photos in subfolders and will add new pictures once I created the share. I want to make them accessible to my family there own PC/Mac. But only with READ ONLY. My problem is that a user (account to share on my Mac) with reading rights can access my shared with read/write rights.

I have my Mac with 10.11.2 the following users/groups:

    • (Jens) My Admin account
    • (Erika) Account sharing
    • (Family) A group

Group of members of the family are:

    • Jens
    • Erika

My folder permissions to "/ Volumes/ExtHD/Bilder" are:

    • Family: read
    • Jens: Read/write
    • everyone: read

I enabled file sharing in the system settings and the 'Pictures' folder added to the share list.

Now I go to another Mac with Yosemite, go to network in the Finder, select the computer with the share, connect to the "Erika" and open the folder "pictures". I can generate records or files, delete files, so I have read/write rights. Why?

Finder don't show me no option 'Erika' should have rights to write to this folder. Why is she able to delete files?
