  • Windows Embedded POS ready 2009

Last year I had successfully installed a loan in 2009, but since it was a trial that is no longer working and I tried to install a new POS Embedded Windows system but to the reboot I always end up with a blue screen.

I had tried with a partial disk configuration and configuration of disk full, but none works.

Someone at - he had similar experiences and what can be done for this install correctly on a virtual machine?

    Thank you

    \Manfred

A STOP 0x0000007B error means that Windows is not able to find the startup disk.  This can occur if Windows does not have the correct driver installed for the (virtual) storage card.

This can happen if you create your guests with a SCSI LSILogic (virtual) adapter and then forget to install the SCSI driver that is appropriate during the initial installation of Windows.

If I had to guess, I would say that the Assistant new VM in VMware correctly detects the operating system on your installation CD, and the autoinstall process is therefore not get the appropriate SCSI driver installed.

Try to re-create your guest, but in the course of the new Virtual Machine Wizard, select "I will install the operating system later".  Which will allow you to manually choose the type of hard drive that you want to install (Buslogic SCSI, IDE or SCSI free).   Windows XP comes with the IDE and Buslogic drivers out of the box (if I remember correctly).

  • POS ready 7 embedded limit Net Session

    Hello

I'll put up Windows Embedded POS ready 7 32 bit on a POS terminal. I am working in a software company and currently our software POS works how is there a master-slave for terminals. We do this by implementing network drives to the other terminals, which in this case to use NET sessions. In some restaurants with terminals 5 +, we use server 2003 standard R2 such that she has 20 NET sessions.

My question is, what is the limit of session for POS ready 7? Now if I'm on this computer and run a "net config server" it shows me 10 sessions or Maximum logged on users. Is the limit to 10 because it is incorporated, or is the plug for POS ready 7? I ask this because I know that most of the versions of Windows 7 have a limit of 20.

Is there anything I can do to increase the limit of 7 loan POS?

    Thank you.

    Import playlist to Excel Powertoy
Import playlist to Excel PowerToy offers an easy way to import lists of audio and video (with the .asx extension) of the Microsoft Windows Media Player in a worksheet in Microsoft Excel 2002 or later.

After the playlist is imported into Excel, you can sort and retrieve information for each item in the list, including name, artist, genre, and bit rate of each file, sort and AutoFilter features in Excel. You can also export the file in HTML format to quickly create a Web page that contains a catalogue of all the audio and video in the playlist. In addition, you can draw and design of statistical information about the items in the playlist and use the information in other ODBC compatible programs (for example, Microsoft Access).

The use of this tool is a two-step process. First, you must prepare the reading list by exporting it from Windows Media Player. Then, you use Playlist import to Excel PowerToy to import the playlist into Excel.

To export a playlist in Windows Media Player:
In Windows Media Player, click Media Library, and then expand My Playlists to view playlists that you created.
Click the playlist you want to export.
On the file menu, click Export Playlist to file.
Select the folder where you want to save the file.
In file name, enter a name for the file and then click Save.

    Import playlist into Excel:
Click Start, point to programs, point to Windows Media Bonus Pack for Windows XP, and then click selection of import to Excel.
Depending on your security settings, you can get a security warning dialog box. If Yes, click on enable the Macros to continue.
Follow the instructions in the Windows Media Playlist import tool dialog box. (If you have already exported the playlist, you can skip step 3 in the import tool dialog box).

  • How can I import groups of Windows Mail contacts in Windows Live Mail?

I work in a small office where we have computers running Windows Vista and using Windows Mail (version 6.0.6000.16388).  We have hundreds of contacts and a few contact groups on these computers.

A few months ago, we got two new computers running Windows XP and Windows Live mail (version 2009, version 14.0.8089.0726).  Other computers at the office always have Vista and the other version of Windows Mail.

I was able to export our hundreds of contacts and import them into Windows Live Mail for new computers have all the contacts... but I was unable to find a way to import groups.

These groups are all very large and comprise mostly/entirely out of contacts that do not have individual contact entries.

I've been Googling for a solution to this problem.  The page nearest you, that I could find was this:

    http://www.SevenForums.com/tutorials/3818-Windows-Live-Mail-import-Vista-contacts-contact-groups.html

I was very discouraged when I saw the big red warning to the top of the page:

    ---------------
In the Groups of Contact with Vista, only contacts who are also included as normal Contacts will be imported into Windows Live Mail. Contacts that have been created for the Contact Group only will not be imported into Windows Live Mail. You will need to write these down and add them manually in Windows Live Mail.
    ---------------

This pretty much described my situation exactly, but manually going through all groups, write all contacts, and then import them manually into two separate machines should always and is simply not an option.

Are there really no other way I can get these groups into Windows Live Mail?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you very much!

I have not actually tried this, but I think this method will work.

    1. get a free Live ID (or @hotmail.com or @live.com).

    2. install Windows Live Mail on Vista computer. During the installation, it will offer to signature with a Live ID. Do.

    3. the first performance of Windows Live Mail, it will be important to all contacts from Windows Mail. Give him enough time to synchronize all contacts with the web version of this Live ID.

    4. open Windows Live Mail on the new computer and then connect with the same Live ID. The automatic synchronization process will transfer in all contacts of the web version of this Live ID.

  • How can I get Windows 7 to read RAW hard drives without having to format the hard drive due to important work on this subject?

Original title: the file format of external hard drive is the RAW and not NTFS. How can I get Windows 7 to read RAW hard drives without having to format the hard drive due to important work on this subject?

I put the hard drive on an XP and Vista machine and can read the hard drive, but not with Windows 7

    Hi Zling,

It works on other OS? When did you finally read the disc and with what OS? If you can read the drive and make a backup of the data on this subject, I you suggest to backup the data on the drive and then put it in using the NTFS file system.
