  It is a wrong answer to the question. QuickBooks 2010 cannot be installed from the CD because the CD tries to install Flash and Flash is already built into Windows 8. The solution is to download QuickBooks from Intuit web site and install the downloaded version. It installs without problem and works very well.   Lightroom 5 et seq. will not install or run on 32-bit editions of Windows 7, Windows 8, 8.1 for Windows and Mac OS 10.6.x

  Lightroom CC will not install or run on Mac OS 10.7.x

  You can install and activate the perpetual software (purchased) two computers of the same type (mac or pc), as long as you use it one at a time. Lightroom is the exception because it is a cross-platform product, so it can be installed on the pc and mac platforms.
