Can I install Acrobat Pro XL on the two OS of my computer? On the Mac and side windows for a license since I was the only one to use it.

I want to get the subscription of $ 15, but I was wondering if Adobe allows me to install my operating system on a single computer on both. Win 7 virtual and Yosemite.

Hi Joel,

Yes, in case if it is a subscription, you will be able to use it on both operating systems.

You can download Acrobat XI Pro using this link https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-downloads.html & serialize using your Adobe ID

In case if you encounter a problem, please let us know. We will be happy to help you.

Kind regards

Nicos

You cannot extend a trial that has expired - the only way to continue to use it is to buy it.  You need to install the trial on another computer to be able to use it again as a test.

    Hi Jacob,

It would be great if you can answer the following questions:

    1. which Windows operating system you are using on the computer?

    2. How do you come to know that someone else uses the computer?

    3. have you created several user accounts on the computer?

I suggest you to create a password for user accounts, so that no one else will have access to the computer. Check out the link for more information:

I cannot perform certain functions because he says that I'm not an administrator, but it's my computer and I'm the only person who uses this computer

What are the functions? More global changes (changes to the system, software installation) require an elevation in Vista/Windows 7.

Changes to the built-in Vista administrator account

    http://support.Microsoft.com/default.aspx?kbid=942956

User - recommended configuration (Vista and Win7) accounts

You absolutely don't want to have only one user account. As XP and all other Windows 7, Vista, and modern operating systems are operating systems multi-user with integrated system of accounts as default Administrator and comments. These accounts should be left alone because they are part of the structure of the operating system.

In particular, you do not want account only one user with administrator privileges on Vista and Windows 7 because the administrator account integrated (normally only used in emergencies) is disabled by default. If you use as an administrator for your daily work, and this account is corrupt, things will be difficult. It is not impossible to activate the built-in administrator to rescue things, but it may require more work you want to do. Better not to get into a bad situation at first.

The user account that is for your daily work must be a Standard user, with the extra administrative user (call it something like 'CompAdmin' or 'Tech' or similar) only it for elevation purposes. As a user Standard is recommended for security reasons and will help protect your computer against infections. After you have created "CompAdmin", connect to it and change your normal user account Standard. Then log on to your regular account.

If you want to go directly to the desktop and ignore the Welcome screen with the icons of the user accounts, you can do this:

Start Orb > Search box > type: netplwiz [Enter]
Click continue (or provide an administrator password) when you are prompted by UAC

Uncheck "users must enter a user name and password to use this computer". Select a user account to connect automatically by clicking on the account you want to highlight and press OK. Enter the password for this user account (when it exists) when you are prompted. Leave blank if there is no password (null). MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

  • I have a subscription to the CC and I can't install Acrobat Pro XI

I have a full plan of creative cloud and I can use all applications properly except for Acrobat Pro XI.

It indicates the time of the trial is over and I need to buy it, but I already have annual subscription.

Creative cloud isn't already includes Acrobat Pro XI?

    How can I fix?

    Thank you!

    Hi inmg,.

What operating system do you use? When you start Acrobat you should see an option to upgrade this software under license, click on it and sign in with your Adobe to activate ID.

  • Download/install Acrobat Pro DC on the second computer, just bought.

I just downloaded "Single-app creative cloud for Acrobat Pro DC membership" and installed on my computer, however, I have problems to install it on the second computer. It was supposed to be the ability to install up to two computers? Is there a link I can click on or where to find in the connection section?

The installation on the second machine should be no different from how you did on the first.

Download/install the desktop application, connect and install applications subscription.

  • Difficult to re - install Acrobat Pro XI on the new computer after disabling it on the old.

I got XI of Acrobat Pro installed on a desktop running Windows 7.  Everything was fine, until I got a new desktop computer, faster (still under Windows 7) so I disabled Acrobat on my old computer, downloaded and installed the same version (Pro XI) on my new computer with the same serial number, and now it does not work.  I get a dialog box titled "serial number Upgrade.  Under the title it says ' serial number you provided is valid, but calling it a product was not found on this computer.

Below that, it tells me to choose one of the following products in a drop-down menu, but Acrobat Pro XI is not one of the selections!

  • I can't install XP Pro SP3 on my new HP MS214 desktop computer.

Whenever I try to install XP Pro on my new computer, sometimes almost at the point of installation, then BSOD. It gives some long error codes, suggests that I may have a virus (it isn't). I have a SATA drive, and I know that is the question.

How to do this? I know that a lot of newer computers have a "downgrade" to XP Pro. What is the trick to this?

I don't have a disk and do not know how to use it if I did.
