  This problem has now been resolved.  I went in my computer > tools > Folder Options > file Type, select the type of file and clicked on advanced then > change and changed back to Windows Picture and Fax Viewer in Windows Media Player.  I had the idea of a response posted on this forum about a different issue, but who pointed me in the right direction.

  My Hp laserjet 1022 printer working properly for years.

  Operating system is Windows 7, I just downloaded and installed the latest driver for this printer "2013-01-09, Version: 20120918" and I get the same behavior. I have not found all the other parameters that may affect this behavior.

  I solved the problem! I found the original CD for the printer. I uninstall the current driver and then install CD and now when the printer is out of paper trying to get paper a couple of times and then stops, as it used to be.

  It seems that after reinstalling, Premiere Pro no has not been updated to the latest version. Check your application creative cloud for updates. If she says Premiere Pro is up to date, try to update Premiere Pro through help > updates... option in Premiere Pro.
