I can't open the MHT file after using the cutting tool

I used the cutting tool on my Acer laptop in the past to save things as MHT files for later use.  Today I used it again after several weeks.  I was unable to open the saved MHT files.  Can someone help me restore this useful facility?

If Yes, where can I find the download?

I use the free version of Super screenshot with my Windows XP, SP3 and I love it.  A downside I found is that it only works on my primary monitor.  If I want to capture something of my second monitor, I firstly drag the window to capture, and then do.  If has a multitude of options, but I only use the rectangle tool to capture part of the screen.  The other drawback is that it inserts www. zealsoft. com (without the spaces) in the upper-left corner of the capture.  Since I use it for a partial screenshot, I just start my rectangle a little higher that what I need so I can trim at the waist without inside advertising.

What I like is that she not talk or put my screenshots on the internet. I don't know anything about the two Bruce Hagen listed, but I know a called Jing, which is designed to put every screenshot on the net.  That's fine if that's what the user wants, but I prefer to keep my pictures for me.

  • I can't open a .muse file after update 2014.3

I get this error on a project that I have to do as soon as POSSIBLE.

    Capture.PNG

It is a time sensitive project.

@Ashley, I just finished repairing your file and sent it to you. The file has a small issue that I fixed it, note that you would have seen that this error had you done a "save under" in 2014.2; the 2014.3 version makes it just a little more obvious.

@ Jean Luc - had this error a single thing or get you constantly? There is a file in your Documents folder, called "Muselog.txt" which will have the most information about the accident. If you send it to me at [email protected] we can study.

    Sorry for the inconvenience.

  • How to open the cutting tool in Vista (program where/what)?

I do not see in the accessories or any where.  Search returns no results.

    Hi PHO.

Should be under the Accessories heading / Snipping Tool (that is for me).

Path to the executable file must be: %SystemRoot%\system32\SnippingTool.exe or Windows\system32\snippingtool.exe in Windows Explorer.  Once you're there, right-click and click on create a shortcut.  Then add in a few places (I have one in the box in the start menu and quick launch and desktop).  If need help to do this, just ask (and you need to help).

If missing, different problem please come back.   What version of Vista?

    Good luck!

  • How one is resized an 'image' with the cutting tool?

I would like to resize an 'image' of a part of one of my accounts on the Internet I did using the cutting tool.  I was able to do this with Windows 7 and have been unable to find a way to do it or to find a solution through research on the Internet.  Maybe the problem is the program that opens the image in full screen only.  Needless to say that Windows 8 is all new to me - a few weeks of usage and I know I have a LOT to learn!  And... I hope I picked the right area for this help!  Your help is greatly appreciated.  Thank you!

    Hello

I'm not clear - you try to do this in Windows 7 or Windows 8?

Whatever it is, the basic procedure is:

    1. open the cutting tool.

    2. create the new chiseled image.

    3. Select Save as.

    4. give it a name and select the image type from the menu drop down.

(PNG is generally preferable for screenshots)

    5. save it to the desired location on your hard drive.

    6. open in an app - integrated image editing paint will do.

    7. open the image that you saved earlier.

    8. click on resize (in painting its on the home tab, in the upper part).

9 select whether you want to resize a percentage or a non-specific pixels & enter the settings.

    10. Select maintain proportions if you want to keep the ratio width even height.

    11. click on OK.

If you use Windows 8 and when you double click on an image it goes to an application full screen then it looks like this file type can be associated with the application of the user interface modern Photos. Please see:

But the message received when you try to open them is: access is denied. Drag / drop the files in 'Shared files' result in the same message. I know that the files exist, because when I open backup and browse for them, they are displayed. Is there a method to open? PowerPC applications have not been supported for many years now since, OS X 10.7.x, you need to look for an alternative to this app or contact the developers of Spotify to see if they have a version for El Capitan 10.11.x

  • Once I updated to Firefox 11, I can't open the pdf files. It's more the computer, snow leopard and lion and more than one Web site.

I've updated to Firefox 11 and now I can't open the PDFs Online. This has happened on more than 1 computer, using the two OS 10.6.8 and OS 7.0 and on more than one Web site. I tried to uncheck "block pop-up windows" in preferences, but which did not help.
When I use Safari to open the same file to pdf, they open fine. Everything worked fine with my Firefox until I did the upgrade.

I prefer to continue to use Firefox, but I can't understand the root of the problem.

Has anyone else had this happen as well?

Thank you, gentlemen, to find a "solution" to this particular behavior of Firefox. It is really curious that even if the screen is blank, you can indeed save the .pdf Ghost and then open the saved file to view. What is amazing to me is that this issue does not seem to be what makes the hit parade of the problems currently experienced Mozilla. Not everyone will be willing to do a research project extended rather than leave the ship for Safari, etc..

  • How can I open the file ASHX on Vista 64 - bit PC

I downloaded an ASHX file on the internet and my PC Vistia 64 bit does not recognize.  How can I open the file?

    Hello

File with the extension to ASHX file is an ASP.NET Web Manager.

ASHX files are files used with the ASP.NET programming and can be opened with any program code in ASP.NET (like Microsoft Visual Web Developer). ASHX files are not intended to be read or opened by the browser. If you have downloaded a file ASHX and expecting that it contains information (such as a document or other recorded data), it is likely that something is wrong with the website and instead of generating usable information, she provided this file server instead.

You can search on the Internet a program that can open this file.

Note: Using third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.

Important:  Take great care when opening file formats executable received in e-mail or downloaded from Web sites, that you are not familiar with as it could cause damage to your computer.
