  I do not use homegroups, but 'true' to share, so I don't know how this is supposed to work with homegroups. But usually he should share a drive or folder, first before you can access it from another machine. (for example, click on the drive/folder properties and go to the sharing tab)

  I know you want to unshare. This will make available for your use FAT32 partition. But to format the hard drive (HD), you may have to transfer your files somewhere else and then copy them to your hard drive when formatting is concluded.

  Hello!

  You will need to use a full copy of Windows XP.  Should be a sticker with the product key on the side of your desk or below if it is a laptop.

  Once you have this drive, you can reinstall Windows XP.  After you have installed all the software and drivers, you will be able to transfer all your data to the new HARD drive.

  If you don't have a copy of Windows XP, you can probably get a copy of the recovery from the manufacturing of computer media.  Just to provide the model and serial number and they should sent it.

  I recently had to reformat (disk error problem) backup my drive (USB) hard external on which I did a complete PC. After reformatting the drive, I tried to make a new PC full to the top on it wihtout success because the old cliché could not be read ("reading of the volume shadow copy on source has no" error code 0 x 80780029), apparently, the backup and Restore Center kept in memory the old backup I did on my HDD reformat and seeks to go further. How can I get around this to remove the trace of old shadow copy and/or the complete PC Backup?

  Still, I have the problem with the backup center and looking for an old backup restore complete PC that no longer exists (reformat the drive) and therefore prevent me to make a new complete PC on the USB disk reformat bacup.

I have rights full administrator on my PC and there is no option "run as administrator" available for the format command. Help!

  The problem disappeared as if by magic! I tried to eject the disk, we told him I could not do that because it was still in use, and the player then become available to the format command.   You can use the external hard drive to transfer your data from your internal hard drive.  Cannot move system files (such as Program Files, Windows and swap files) well.  Looks like your use of the word 'memory' made reference to disk space - it normally refers to which an external drive would not affect RAM.  If you mean disk space, however, you can certainly free SPAC drive this way.

  Start Windows Explorer and locate the data that you want to transfer, select it and press on and hold down the CTRL key while tapping the c. key on the new hard drive and locate where you want to place the data and press Ctrl + V to paste the data.
   
  It won't work for data, it won't copy programs or settings of the program as they must be made using the Setup routine.

  How is formatted the external hard drive? Is the file system on the drive Mac OS extended (journaled) or other system files?  Is the drive directly connected by USB or similar, or is it a SIN?

  You can copy and paste the files on your external hard drive.

  Right-click your folder of the image and choose copy...

  Right-click on the drive letter for your external hard
  drive and choose Paste.

  You can also right click on some files or folders and

  Hi amireos,

  Yes, you can create your workflow where you can keep all your images on the external hard drive and the Lightroom catalog file as well.

  If you start with Lightroom and then use the Destination location as external hard drive when you import your image of the external source such as a camera or SD.

  If you already have your Images on the Mac HD drive, then play all your Image on the external hard drive first and then import images directly from there.

  Finally, you can change the location of the Lightroom Catalog as well.

  Default location: folder on the Mac Drive HD, there is folder called Lightroom that you can move on the external drive too (however catalog Lightroom can't memory space as its only import previews of the images is not the real image and full)

  Once you move the file catalog Lightroom external hard disk, then you need to browse the catalog file when you launch Lightroom only once.
