I can't restore my recently added to my iTunes playlist

Help

Hi Tom,

Welcome to Apple Support communities.

From what I understand, you want to know how to restore the smart selection added recently or re - create this playlist smart in iTunes on your Mac.

If you haven't already done so, you can try to undo the previous command by pressing Command + Z as described here:

Keyboard shortcuts in Mac - Apple Support

If this does not resolve the issue, you can follow the user tip turingtest2 instructions to re-create the smart playlists that came with iTunes.

Restore the Original smart playlists | Apple support communities

In addition, you can find a lot of additional information on the smart playlists in this article:

  • I can't buy a recently added British TV show

I had all four versions of the Apple TV and consider myself to be an experienced user. I am currently enjoying my 4 ATV, and it seems to work fine in all respects. I regularly rent or buy movies and TV shows you like. However, I go back on a problem that is new to me.

The new version of the British television of Agatha Christie 'and Then There Were None' has just become available on Apple TV. Large foundry and probably even better than the old classic movie. It requires the purchase of all the episodes initially for $9.99 and then will allow you to look at each individual episode, it will be available.

I tried, but it does not work. When I hit 'buy' I just receive the gear, and nothing else happens. If I save on the purchase screen TV Shows, ATV displays the icon for the show, as if I bought it. Yet when I click the icon it shows no episodes are available and indicates that I have not bought the series. Round and round I go with these clicks, but still can not show.

All other purchases before and since then work OK. Although the ATV 4 indicates that she feel that I made the purchase, my iTunes purchase history (on my computer) shows he has not bought.

I called the Apple support line yesterday, and they, like me, believe that my 4 ATV probably work OK. We concluded that this is perhaps an Apple seed. Aid supervisor, said he would "report it." But the problem remains.

Has anyone else had a similar experience of not being able to buy a series to see the TV with an early booking? Any suggestions on settings or other causes possible?

    Get information from jimpal:

I can say that this is not a burning issue with the forum, the lack of response. Nevertheless, here is an update that is interesting about how I solved the problem.

Simply, I went to my Apple TV 3 in another room and ordered the show by paying $9.99 for all episodes. iTunes now recognizes the purchase and my Apple TV 4, which has refused to accept the purchase, a program now on board and ready to play. The purchase has been prevented from visiting, so that my 3 ATV agreed easily apparently some glitch in my Apple TV 4.

Now, I wonder what will happen the next time I try to buy a several episode on my Apple TV 4 TV show? Is it going to work next time? Or it will behave as it did this time? We'll see.

  • Newly downloaded music does not appear in the library on my iphone or itunes. Appears only in "recently added".

I do not understand how a new mixtape, I downloaded appears on my phone, but it's not really on my phone. I can play in the "recently added" at the top of the list 'My music', but it will not appear under the artist or album.

Maybe the music is in the cloud. You must be connected to WiFi or cellular connection of these songs. If you tap on a song, and then press the three red dots to the right, you can type on make available offline and download the song.

You can only restore back what you backup on iTunes or icloud.

You can synchronize your contacts/notes etc. with some email again or icloud program that you use to synchronize with.

  • How can I restore mac Time machine backup to most recent?

So, I recently met several problems with my old mac. He started acting upward with the blinking folder and question mark more often. So I did multiple time machine backups and have since then tried to reinstall the OS and many other options, but it looks like my mac middle of 2007 has had its day. So I bought a new mac and tried to restore the back upward on the external hard drive. I get the message that his back is an older version and it cannot be restored and I should use from the other mac migration assistant.

So the question is: If the first mac is burned and I can not restore settings etc of the time external hard disk machine, how to restore the whole upward? Can I transfer files only?

    Very much appreciated.

    Hi Sir,

You cannot restore data in time machine just like that. You use the data transfer assistant to recover your old records to your new Mac.

The data that you used time machine made to your old mac are not available to your new mac. There is limitation of the system.

    Hope this could help you.

  • Recently upgraded to El Capitan, I had that problem for Mail stop unexpectedly when I saw some posts.  I followed the steps and was able to remove the trouble messages.   Now I can't restore the mail window message viewer component.

Recently upgraded to El Capitan, I had that problem for Mail stop unexpectedly when I saw some posts.  I followed the steps and was able to remove the trouble messages.   Now I can't restore the mail window message viewer component.  When I try to catch the separator bar to go back to the left, only half of the small arrow icon and line appears, and it cannot be moved.   Can open the message by double clicking a message viewer.

    Hi there, alicefrompa!

Thank you for using communities Support from Apple. From your post, I understand that you do not see the Message Viewer box which allows you to read your e-mails; only see you the Inbox that includes a brief overview of the message and are unable to restore access using the separator bars. I have had this happen to my own Mail app and am happy to let you know how I could fix!

You are really on the right track - you want to roll your mouse over the divider between the Inbox and sections Message Viewer (which should now be on the extreme right edge of your mail window) and drag it to the left.  When you click on the receipt/Message Viewer box, the cursor turns into a line continuous black with a single arrow pointing to the left. When you see the cursor change, click with the left button of the mouse and (while holding down the mouse button in) drag the combination line / arrow to the left. You may need to drag a little further than before to get it. I had to hang mine almost completely in the middle of my Mail app before the display of the message box appeared.

From there, you should be able to adjust the boxes to your widths you want as expected.

If you are still not able to get the display of the messages visible after have try this, here are a few more things that you can do.

    1. Press command + O on your keyboard.
    2. Exit the Mail application, and then press on and hold the SHIFT key on your keyboard while reopening.
    3. Restart your Mac by selecting the menu  Apple in the upper right of your screen restart from the menu drop down.

    See you soon!

  • Problem with recently added after the restoration of library

    Hello

I recently had to restore the hard drive of my Macbook and have added my entire music library on my external hard drive to iTunes.

I have all my music again, which is great, but now in the 'Library' section main iTunes is falsely list my entire as library recently added...

which is obviously not the case. Unfortunately, at the moment, this useful feature otherwise is inaccurate and visually distracting.

Is it possible to Edit / manage the recently added music section "library" in the same way as with the "smart playlist" added recently?

Preferably, I would like to be able to personally manage what is considered "recent" in days, weeks, months, years, etc.

I don't think that the Act of restoration should make me powerless to manage my content.

If you are in the same situation or that you know a way to fix this, please consider offering your contribution.

Thank you in advance for your help!

The rules relating to the recently added playlist look like this:

(although they did on Windows XP)

Add another rule such as Date added is after . Change the initial rule Date added for everyone.

See make a library of portable split of a means of placing all of your library on the external hard drive and then save it.

  • How can I get rid of "Recently added" at the top of iTunes page?

For the Album, iTunes playlist has two sections. The highest is "recently added" - and the songs or albums, well, more recently added. Below, there is a complete list of all your albums, by icon.

I do not use "Recently added." In fact, I would like to get rid of if. How can I prevent iTunes who trace "recently added"? I want just a list of albums, and that's all.

    Thank you!

Not exactly sure iTunes on Mac, but on Windows, the top right where you area selection where you see artists or Albums, if you tap it, you will see a checkbox for recently added. I have not found a way on my Windows computer so that it can remember this setting, but it's where you can turn it on or off.

Restore points are saved until the system restore reserves HDD space is filled. As new restore points are created, old ones are deleted. If you disable the Protection System (the feature that creates restore points) on a disk, all restore points are deleted from this drive. When you turn System Protection, new restore points are created.

    Hello

    1. who did you try all the steps?

2 did you change on your computer?

    Method 1:

I suggest you follow the link and check...

How can I fix a startup (startup)?

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/how-do-I-fix-a-boot-startup-problem

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/startup-repair-frequently-asked-questions

    Method 2:

I also suggest you to perform the system restore and check.

System Restore: Put the computer to an earlier point in time, when everything worked well. If the system restore is a recovery preinstalled on your computer option:

    Restart the computer manually.

    (a) do one of the following:

    a. If your computer has a single operating system installed, press and hold the F8 key as your computer restarts. You need to press F8 before the Windows logo appears. If the Windows logo appears, you need to try again by waiting until the Windows logon prompt appears, and then stop and restart your computer.

    b. If your computer has multiple operating systems, use the arrow keys to select the operating system you want to repair, and then press and hold F8.

    (b) on the screen Advanced Startup Options , use the arrow keys to select repair your computer, and then press ENTER. (If repair your computer is not listed as an option, then your computer does not include restoration of the system as a preinstalled recovery option.)

    (c) select a keyboard layout and then click Next.

    (d) select a username and password, and then click OK.

    (e) on the System Recovery Options menu, click System Restore. Put the computer to an earlier point in time, when everything worked well.
