I can't start Camileo H20

Hello

I have a problem. I can't start the camera.
ID of the full battery. When I connect cam to the charger, the led is yellow. And nothing. I can't start.

When I connect to computer cam, she saw a cam a FLASh Disk.
What is c? Who have the same problem?
HELP :(

Hello

It of difficult to say what might be wrong or why you are not able to turn on the camcorder using only the battery.
Maybe it s really a battery problem?
It s not serious is that the battery indicator indicates that the battery is fully charged
My old laptop battery is full charged but the power of the battery last only for 2 min.

So if your warranty is valid, visit your local dealer or an ASP and ask for verification of camcorder!

  • Camileo H20 - a few questions and the new firmware?

OK, many users know that it is one of the worst cameras, you can buy.

Firmware is really sick, then, how to use it?

To start, I'll repeat known bugs:
-very slow development, so its impossible to zoom in/out
-camera is not connector to plug in an external microphone
-internal MIC is the gift of a hell, he died later, big bang.
-Its hard to listen to the people, because internal microphone is sensitive as one of the worst last factory of China
-light balance is crazy, the processor is switching mode light for fun in automatic mode
-record is worse than much cheaper cameras and more, is probably preferable to buy an old camera from Sony again Toshiba

I don't like Toshoba, because its my third bad product Toshiba.
After good notebook Toshiba, I bought new a lot less good and the other and the camera. I think that production will only worse in 2005.

Camileo H10 was also sick, but for this unit was out of usable software.

Last year, I bought used Camileo H20 with part number PX1478E-1CAM on eBay and use it from time to time. I use it mostly to the outside because if there is no light in the room I m not so satisfied with the quality of the photo.
Sound is not the best but not so bad, and in General, for this price the cam is OK.

When I read the list of known bugs, the first thing I have to say is: you bought the bad cam.
What you need is the cam of high quality and the price for this cam is around 700 Euros. I wish I had this cam too but I'll wait for prices to fall a little.

Please note: Camileo H20 costs 140 Euros only. For that money, the cam is really OK.

With laptops is the same: it depends on phone model. The quality for the Satellite C model is certainly not the same as that of the P of Satellite series. Best evidence is the price.

In my country, we have a saying that applies: that cannot pick up the right product, must buy expensive. It is difficult to translate, but I think you know what I'm talking about m. ;)

  • Camileo H20 - sounds like a disc inside

    Hello
    can anyone help please?

My fairly new camileo h20 does not work and I can hear what sounds like a disc inside clicking during charging.

It stopped working during the filming of a very special moment, so not too happy about it. Even less happy about the fact that we can not find the reception and also a little irritated that I cannt find a troubleshooting section as the full manual is on a disk.
My pc will not read the discs (well Yes, you have guessed a toshiba...).

If someone could please take a look at the manual and make some suggestions, I would be very grateful.

    Thank you

    Hello

S manuals for your camera you will find under http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/download_manuals.jsp?service=EU&banner_id=DISCONTI NUED_DOWNLOAD_ARCHIVE

Unfortunately, I don't have this camera and I can't help you with this, but you can contact the nearest Toshiba authorized service provider and ask for help. Make a call, explain the situation and hopefully, they will be able to help you.

  • I want to use the Camileo H20 as a webcam

    Hello

I bought a Camileo H20 and I want to use it as a webcam.
Some of my friends use video cameras as webcam in tunner tv mode so I bought a tv tuner too because in my country you can't find this cable with usb port and input jack to connect it via USB.

Can U tell me how I can see the image on the LCD on the camileo h20 when connected to a tv tunner?
I can see the image on the computer, but the screen remains blank.
    Someone knows how to do?

Another problem is that it is not so high definition such that it had to be.
You can see lots of channels on the screen, do you know why? Is this normal?
Is this because I use the tv tunner?
    Can you help me please?

I called toshiba in my country, and they won't help me.
Pls someone help me thank you in advance

    Hello

AFAIK the Camileo H20 cannot be used as a webcam. This feature is not available for this camcorder.

With regard to the channels on the screen.
I put t know exactly what you mean, but I recommend that you connect the camcorder directly to the TV and check the settings (60 Mhz NTSC or PAL 50 Mhz)
In addition, you can save the movie in 720 p HD and Full HD 1080 p

Maybe you should check the Full HD mode with a higher resolution.

Last but not least the LCD screen of the camcorder does not appear when the Camielo is connected to an HDTV!

  • Problems of camcorder Camileo H20

    Hello

Some time ago I bought the camcorder Camileo H20. It works well with one exception - update does not work with reliability. I will describe it more precisely. The camera has two modes of zoom: optical / mechanical that has a priority, and digital which takes place when the optical zoom reaches the limit. When I am running in the optical zoom range, everything works almost fine (almost, I don't expect a perfect quality of ~ 100EUR product), but when the camera's digital zoom, crazy things happens with development. It takes sometimes > 10 seconds in order to reduce the strong image. The problem occurs even when I zoom digital range only (I'm sure, zoom bar is clearly cut out on the screen). Being configured to maximum already, internal zoom lens camera should not touch the lens in such a case, but he does. I asked a friend who bought the same model of camcorder. He has experienced the same thing.

Because the problem is with the range of the digital zoom, which has not broken lens, it's the firmware bug. Unfortunately I can't find new firmware for camcorder Camileo H20 on the Toshiba web site. The current (in camera) as follows:

    7020A8382L-A03
    D50T-Toshiba - 7 L - PAL
    SDK33 - 081112.0619
    17:07.03 Wednesday, November 26, 2008

This message is addressed to Toshiba responsive and responsible staff who will deliver corrected firmware on the web site of the company (Toshiba offers firmware update for model Camileo H10, so a next to H20 shouldn't be a problem). If the answer will be "please visit our service center", I expect that (firmware updated) repair will be free as is plant bug present in all cameras with the same firmware, am I right?

People say that Japanese companies dealing on the reputation and the quality of the products. I think that and wait for a response soon.

    Pawel

    > someone fom service told me I need to write the firmware again and that they didn't do it. After that, the device should work.

I m really questioning the service guy who told you that who should have access to this firmware updates if it is the Toshiba service?
Camileo H20 firmware is not available anywhere I checked the area EU Toshiba driver Options page and there is no such firmware.

I guess you should replace the cam if the warranty is valid in the case that I put t think it can be fixed.

  • How to turn off the sound recording on a Camileo H20?

I just got a new VCR Camileo H20. Directly from the box.

I use it for video road races to complement the photographs that I take with my Nikon digital camera.

I am really satisfied with the short video clips that I record, whether they are clear and sharp (fingers crossed). They are very well received by the riders.

    * http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_bNCKCKafCw *.

The only problem I have is that I would like to turn the microphone off. Supporters cry comments that are usually fairly light, but recently one or two went over the top with comments derogatory offence.

I know I can turn off the sound in the video editing software that I use, but as I said, I would like to turn the microphone off.

I do not understand why, when I put the * sound * to * Off * in the Menu it still records the sound.

Any help on this would be really appreciated.

    Thank you.

    > I do not understand why, when I put the sound on Off the menu it still sound recordings.

I m H20 not owner but I have a Camielo: 30. But the two are very similar, the sound-> off the coast of the option that you can find in the menu does not sound recording via microphone, but the sound that appears by pressing the buttons by navigating through the menu.

If you can not turn off the sound while you record a video.

  • How fast on SD card to Camileo H20?

That speed is the lowest speed to use with a Camileo H20 to ensure that registration is also smooth and fine as possible?

    Hi recman,.

I checked the manual Camileo H20 and I could t find details the requirements SD card so I think you can use the SD/SDHC cards to recode movies in Full HD.

These days are flash cards are very cheap, so I recommend a class 6 SDHC card. If you buy a 4 GB card for example, they should cost less than 10 euro.
By the way: I have good experiences with flash SanDisk cards.

I guess that a faster SD card will bring only a performance gain if you copy the video to your computer via the flash card reader, I think.

  • Camileo H20 - registered file types

Hello to all on the forum! : D

I will be short and explain my problem: I bought a Camileo H20 in the month of August, which would eventually be sent back cause in 1080 p resolution, you could see a white pixel... This camera recorded videos. MOV files, so at first I was a little discouraged because if you want to edit the video, the conversion. AVI was inevitable!

After obtaining the replacement unit, I realized happily that the output of this H20 was in. AVI format... BOTH PIS NO DECODER CANNOT READ THE AVI AS THEY ARE! Now, there are times that I wish I had the. Back MOV files, it is absurd that software can understand it's an AVI... Including EACH converter video I found and tested more than all the big guns like Vegas, first, after effects etc etc.
I know that many of you guys have the same problem of the view do not decode properly, so we have to do something big and get an official response from Toshiba on a solution or something!

Only solution I found is to encode the. AVI to Avi uncompressed using Adobe Media Encoder CS4 (which uses the ffdshow in my PC, but it is the only combination/decoder software that works well, other programs seem a little 'duplicate' the video during the encoding of what makes a mess) BUT this solution produces unwanted black borders to the output video (not even had any idea why these boundaries exist and I can not make disappear in any way)...

If anyone has a solution or something that could help I would be grateful! (Again, maybe an * official * response would be great, because it's really strange that NO software can read this cursed AVI correctly, and I'm not the only one dealing with this serious problem)
    Thanks for your time, everyone!

    Hello

I really put t understand what your problem is you say something about NO software can understand it's an AVI
I m using a small player, free VLC player called.
This player supports almost all possible file formats and plays avi as well.

In addition, there is a great free conversion tool called; "SUPER".
You can convert almost all possible file formats perhaps you should check it too

  • Pinnacle 12 Ultimate don't recognize film created by Camileo H20

I have a Camileo H20 and want to make a movie on my computer in Pinnacle 12 Ultimate.

The program does not see the movies on the TV.

Can someone tell me what the problem is.

Y at - there someone who can tell me which program is easy to use to make a movie.

    Thank you.
    Tom

    Hello

I don t know the Pinnacle 12 Ultimate software, but why you n t use the software that comes with this camcorder?
Looks like H20 has been bundled with ArcSoft media.
It s a ser user-friendly application that helps you manage your media, burn your videos to DVD and upload your videos to Youtube.

I n t have the H20 but other camcorder and I used always the Nero and Nero internal plugin to create a movie.
You can also use some more professional software like Adobe Premiere. But it s more expensive tool.

  • Camileo H20: film becomes 4:3 instead of 16:9 report

Recently, I bougth camcorder Camileo H20.

I have a problem: when I transfer data, which were recorded in FHD, to a computer - the film becomes with imaging instead of 16:9 4:3 ratio.
Somethihg is the problem with my camcorder?

I put the camera back in the shop of the seller?

Please, help me to solve this problem. Thank you.

    Hello

I found the interesting detail manual.
You can get the 16:9 ratio if you would connect the camcorder to an output high definition HDMI port using an HDMI cable.
But you will get 4:3 ratio if you connect the camera to LCD cameras AV output port.
Of course, this is relevant to connect the camcorder to a TV.

If you transfer the files on the computer then I would recommend check the settings in the tight ArcSoft media software that came with your laptop.

  • 32 GB SDHC card does not work on CAMILEO H20

    Can anyone help?

I recently bought the camcorder above. I bought a 32 GB memory card class 6 SDHC separately.

The map seems to work fine on my PC as a memory device.
However, I can't work on the camcorder.
I formatted the card on the PC and the camera but still does not work.
When formatted on the camcorder it won't be approved by it (it says MEMORY FULL) and when it is formatted by PC, it can record sequences for a few seconds and then stop without saving the images.
However, I managed to take some photos (only when I formatted the PC) but they will not be recognized by the camera (it shows a folder with a! on this subject) and I can't see any on the PC!
I also tried a different SD CARD 256 MB, but it's always the same problem

I would appreciate any suggestions or comments!

    Thank you

    Hello cygamer,

This seems really odd. I also have a Camileo H20 and I use it with a 32 GB SDHC card.
    I am able to record movies with a 32 GB SDHC (Class6) - 09:01 pm - Full HD (1080 p) / 18:03 h HD (720 p).
    Also I can make pictures with the 32 GB SDHC (Class6) - 10,571 pcs. -High (8mp) / 14.415 pcs. -Standard (5mp) / 26.428 pcs. -Poor quality (3mp).

So, it seems that the issue is not the TV.
Try to insert the sd card locked and unlocked after this insertion.
Please install the full battery and just trying to format the card inside the camera again.
Another point, that you can do is to format the internal memory and set the camera to the default settings.

    welcome them

  • Camileo H20 stopped zoom

    Hi all
    First time post here.

I have a camcorder Camileo H20 HD, I used it very well throughout the week, but just tonight, when I tried filming something just zoom on top button does – whatever way she moves, nothing appears on the screen and the image doesn't not zoom in or out.

The camera is only 3-4 months old - contact the online store where I bought from Toshiba?

In my opinion you should contact the store where you purchased this camera.
Either they will send the cam maintain or give you addresses and advice how you can do it.
