  Hi all

  Everyone knew get Siri to make a Skype call on an iPhone with iOS10? It was supposed to be one of the examples of the integration of third-party application of Siri and while I can now use Siri to send WhatsApp etc. messages, when I try to ask him to make a Skype call, it tells me that Skype didn't put in place as yet.   I would say it is very likely that Skype needs to release an update that uses the new Callkit and Siri integration - their existing application would have no way to know yet about the new features, no matter how to use actually.

  For now all we can do is wait for Skype/Microsoft hurry up and release the next version.

  Since on the Skype these latest updates when I get a Skype call rings on my main PC, but not on my iPhone and iPad. It's very irritating because my main pc is located in my basement, and I can't always hear it sounds. This means also when I'm out and about, I'm not wheat to pick up calls on my iPhone.   For a first test, the simplest method is to organize before a time and date when you're both already connected to the internet and connected to Skype.

  Then, they appear as 'online' in your Skype contact list. And communicate with them through that. Do not use the phone number.

• Important: Solution workaround to fall immediately SkypeOut call in Skype 4.0

  As I spent about 8 hours of my life on this question with the help of Skype you guys give a work around if you are not able to place SkypeOut calls from your Android device.

  This problem concerns new facilities of Skype 4.0 for Android. On my Samsung S4, I discovered the hard way, I was unable to make SkypeOut calls to some phone numbers - they would immediately fall with 'no response '.

  The solution is to go back to Skype 3.2 (find the APK online). ;-) You can then switch to 4.0 and it will not solve the problem, but do NOT clean data management app Skype after the upgrade or the problem will return. If you decide to continue using 3.2 well... I understand.

  I worked on that with the support of Skype for the past few days and, uh, to keep it civil I would just play along.

  Ignore this - it seems that all calls to the phone numbers that I added manually to the respective contacts are deleted. If I remove the phone number of the contact I can then dial the number directly OK.

• Phone calls from a person claiming to be from microsoft a SCAM?

  Everyone has just received a phone call from someone with a foreign accent CLAIMING to be from Microsoft? and they said that I got the virus, ect on my computer and they wanted me to go on the computer and I guess = open a site that would PROBABLY destroy my computer... I told the man twice, that I had no problems and thanked him for the call and HUNG up...

  I heard there is a SCAM where someone from another country wants to go to a certain web site current and there wher you download something that ruins your system. I'm not stupid and I quickly hung up.

  (I have Dial-up internet so I couldn't talk on the phone and be online at the same time..) ... When I'm out here = I dial * 69 and see if I get a phone number... at this JERK.   and if anyone is interested I'll let you know what is this number.

  I did a * 69 as the number is unknown... as expected... I thought it was a SCAM and immediately hung up on him... and gave him no information or access to my computer.

  A few months ago I bought a new desktop pc HP Envy and I'm really deal with it, but recently I'm under problems.

  A couple of weeks, my PC started all my audio muting for no reason when I got a call via Skype, at first it wasn't a problem because I could use other programs such as Teamspeak or mumble, but recently these programs get the same problems as well.

  I tried all possible combinations in the tabs in my reading and recording, but it still doesn't work.

  I understand that you are having problems with your new computer running Windows 8.1 where the audio is automatically inhibition. I'm you provide a document from HP support: use of the Recovery Manager to restore the software and drivers (Windows 8), which allows you to restore the original supplied with your computer drivers. As these drivers and their settings are working I think they once again and I hope when they are updated the next time Hey take better.

  So I recently received calls from this guy who claims to be with Microsoft Error Reporting service, but I thought something was fishy when he couldn't tell me anything specific on my computer, which he would be able to know right away. Also, he couldn't speak a lick of English, which makes it really difficult to understand what he wanted originally.
  He told me that he and his 'business' received my computer error messages, and that we should "follow the simple steps to get rid of these problems.
  He told me to go to the computer management console and find the 'filter' in the display options, but being an avid user of XP, I know there is no such thing.
  He then told me that it is an effect of a virus that "we need to follow the steps to get rid of. He directed me to the console to Run and had me type in this web address:
  'www.XINFINITY.WEBS.com '.
  So now, things get sketchy. A free host for a supposedly serious company? I do NOT.
  (Why he wanted me to use RUN to access a Web site, I have no idea, only adds to the superficiality...)
  I went on the site, which lo & behold, very professional. There are four links to download files .exe with weird as names:
  -' Ammyy v3"(AA_v3.exe)
  -' Ammyy v2"(AA_v2.exe)
  -"Croosloop" (CroosLoopSetup.exe)
  - and 'ShowMyPc"(ShowMyPC3105.exe)

  He said click on the first and hit. He said SAVE or CANCEL. Now, I'm not naïve or stupid or gullible, and I am computer illiterate.
  I smell something fishy here. Technical support does not call you about errors, you call them.
  Research in the comments left on their FREE site, I have seen that all FOUR were short and had similar spelling/grammar mistakes. Typical supported false reputation.
  I did a google search, barely found anything on this "business" and the guy hung up.

  IM asking for any information about whether if it's a scam, an attempted theft of identity/data theft, an attempt to spread of the most recent virus, or some guy who tries to help. My gut tells me that it is one of the top three.
