• Caller ID info displays when I call a Skype mobile, it is not what is in my profile

  When I call a cell phone from my Skype account, it ID me by information and photo that are not in my Skype profile. I quadruple-checked all information in my Skype account and cannot understand why he did this and how to get it to just show my Skype profile picture & name no matter what camera I'm calling you.

  My Skype account shows the icon user & name on my Mac when it identifies my Skype calls on the devices, I give the floor. It makes no sense, and I can't understand why it does not display my Skype avatar / icon and the name I have on the number (for my company).

• Lack of SubVis error 1003 when VI called Via a server VI

  I have a Labview application that 12E DAQmx functionality to acquire data and uses analysis contained in records vi.lib Labview vi.  The application is compiled in a Bachelor's degree in law with a high-level vi model. I used successfully the VI server technique to launch and control the high level vi using Labview 7 and 7.1.  This technique allows me to open, run, and the façade of access control during execution.  In fact, we have compiled the functionality of separate (implemented in vi) VI in a DLL server and applications such as VB6 to launch the VI, control and he abandoned. This technique worked very well for many years for us.

  Now, we have improved our Labview 2009 application and implemented NI Scope to acquire data from a digitizer PXI-5922.  We use the same functions of analysis like the previous version.  I can run this as a standalone VI, and I can also write another 'Launcher' VI which uses the VI of my VI server solution to launch the application (open, execute, and control).  The problem comes when I try to run the application outside of the Labview development environment. With the help of VB6, I can open the VI, but when I use the VI server to run it I get the error code 1003 (VI not executable). The vi appears with a broken arrow.  By clicking on the broken arrow gives me an error "Missing Subvi.

  To eliminate the 'my' application of the problem, I copied one of the models OR simulated (GenerateDisplay.vit), moved to a test directory and renamed.  I can start and run this vi of the environment of Labview development, as well as using my server VI 'Launcher' mentioned above when running in the Labview development system.  However, I get the error of missing VI again when my new test VI is launched using another application.  I have compiled my application launcher in an executable file (using project folder) and can run the executable file.  However, when my application launcher tries to run my test vi I get the same error of VI missing.  The missing vi is \vi.lib\express\express input\SimulateSignalBlock.llb\subSigGeneratorBlock.vi.

  Thus, it seems that the VI server runs the OK application executing in the Labview development system.  However, when it is launched, apart from that the vi launched test cannot locate its dependencies, which leads me to think there must be a connection problem during execution when executing.  I see all the dependencies in the project file, and these are listed in their correct location.

  Has anyone had a similar experience, or had no idea what goes wrong.  As noted above, this technique worked ok in Labview 7.x using DAQmx so I'm wondering if something changed in the way the runtime throws the dependencies?

  HI Vivek,

  Thanks for your suggestions.  Solution 2 of the first link (creating a source distrubution) allowed me to create a LLB containing all the dependent inside vi.  I am now able to open and run my test vi without errors by using Server VI of VB6 functions.  I have rebuilt my main application, but have a huge file (> 40 MB) when you include all the dependencies, the vi.lib, the instr.lib and user.lib files.  The application can run ok, but I am now working to optimize its size.  His looks as if I have a good working solution.

• Cannot make calls via laptop

  I can't make a call via Skype on laptop, but works well for the iphone (even Skype account for both devices).

  Every time I tried to make a call (after reinstall many times), it will close by saying "Skype has stopped working".

  And the message in the box said "a problem caused blocking the program works correctly. Windows program and you warn if a solution is not available"(but the solution will never come).

  Note that I use Windows 8.1 and I already set the compatibility mode...

  The solution was...

  I just put following line before making the call to the web service by using APEX_WEB_SERVICE. MAKE_REQUEST.

  /*In my case DB character-set is AL32UTF8, so I set it to UTF-8. */

  If I do not set this, it uses the as ISO-8859-1 character set, which is the cause of my problem.

• Cannot answer calls unless Skype is the active application

  When people call me Skype or a landline, I see and hear the same indication of an incoming call that I've always seen and heard. But unless Skype is the active application, Skype I am already in a call and sends an incoming call to voicemail in less than half a second, which of course is usually too fast for me to switch to Skype and answer the call. I checked my status, and it is online when this happens (I never set it to busy). I have never changed my call settings. They tell even Skype give me ten seconds to answer before sending people to your voicemail.

  I am running version 7.0.0.102, auto-updated. It looks like this bug started when they come out of the UI is radically different, whenever it is, a month or two before.

• When you call sub-panels in an exe file, some to run correctly and some don't work at all.

  I use LabVIEW 2009 and display various screws in a secondary (one at a time) into an executable.  A few screws properly load and run, while others do not work.  All the screws called VI properties are the same.  When I run into the development system, the code runs successfully.  I don't get any errors during the call to the screw - screw display all their facades like they should, but only a few actually deliver, while others do nothing.  Any ideas would be very appreciated!

  Are you running VI separately, or you use the method run a VI?

  If you use the method run a VI, check out error and see if you get an error.

  If you are running separately, make sure that this area of the code actually runs (from your description, it looks that BT is).

  If all screws are supposed to be in the app, I would say that, given the static references for them and having a node property to one of the controls in each VI you want to display in the secondary, which will ensure the that LV will not remove its FP when you build the exe. Looks like this is your case, since you say that you see the FPS.

  If the screws are not in the application (that is, you run live recorded separately), you will need to ensure that they have all the dependencies that they need, because it is possible that they you are missing the vi.lib screws or your own screws not built in the app (since there was no static reference to them). The easiest thing is to build a distribution for each other while giving it a name space. You can do this by using the OpenG constructor, although I've never needed to. The main problem with this is that it will explode the size of the code, because each VI will need a copy of the common stuff.

• Why CRLF are treated differently when called via bridgetalk?

  Thank you, Uwe for responding! I tried that before posting, and the result was '\\r '. It seems bridgetalk converts these escape characters to the text.

  I found another thread (Re: \n doesn't work does not correctly) addressing the question, pointing way back to CS2 times! Wonder why Adobe does not solve the problem, and/or documenting this bug to save us some headaches, or maybe they he documented in a dark place.

  Workaround to this problem is to use decodeURI and use the hexadecimal code for these special characters. In my original unit test, I have changed the script photoshop for the following:

• I have updated to iOS to 9.3.1 now my screen is in portrait mode and will not change landscape when the phone is turned. Also, it just goes straight to voicemail without ringing on my end when people call. All I can say all the settings are correct. ideas

  I updated my phone to iOS 9.3.1 last night. Now all my incoming calls go directly to Voicemsil without ringing on my end. My sound and message settings appear normal for me. Also, my screen rotates out of sight from portrait to landscape view for photos FB etc...

  It seems that if you have the lock of portrait and do not disturb activated. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to call the control center. Look at the two circular icons on the top right row. They are white? If so, tap on them to turn them off. One resembles a Crescent Moon, the other as an arrow in a circle with a padlock in the Center.

  static variables are not comprehensive on the BB. The phonelistener runs in the context of the phone application and does not access the values stored in the static variables of your main applications.

  Use world events or the runtimestore to return to the context of your application (do not run code in the phonelistener).
