  I have a requirement where few reports coming from databases and a few others to another database. I created two pools of connections and added the frame connection details. But when I created the report I get error as below.

  Cross database joins are possible, no problem for it. But you do not do so in an object of unique data base in the physical layer using 2 pools of connections connection to the source A and B, then adding objects to A and B children of your unique database.

  You create 2 databases in the physical layer, each with its own connection pool, then you can do your knuckles crossed on the physical schema.

  As a picture is worth a thousand words, take a look:

  

  The physical diagram uses objects of A and B and define the rules of the join between them, it is a cross-database join. But in the physical layer of the database A and B are 2 separate objects each with its own pool of connections.

  Now I can see the Pool of IP in vCenter under NSX Manager-> [NSX-Manager-IP]-> manage-> object-> Pools of IP group.

  Remove the existing IP pool.  Then recreate the pool by using the API, but instead of using with globalroot-0.

• Failed to create the pool of network VXLAN

  I tried to get VXLANs working with the vcloud Director, but have had a problem that I can't work on it would be really grateful for the help.

  I went through the config VXLAN Vshield Manager and I think it's ok that I can manually create a pool of network a network, create a virtual wire and attach VMs. If everything looks good. My problem is that when I create a provider VDC in Vcloud Director the associated network pool creation always fails. I don't have to provide the exact error message, but it is something in the sense of 'Vcloud Director received an unexpected response or Manager unknown Vshield, see the logs for Vshiled Manager for more information'. I looked in Vshield Manager logs and can't really find something useful, but it is a bit of a nightmare, I can just be looking in the wrong place.

  Anyone got any ideas?

  can you confirm/update of credentials here:

  connect to vcloud

  go to list of vCenters manage and monitor

  Right-click the vCenter to that that vShield Manager is associated

  Click on properties

  update the user names and passwords in two tabs

  Click OK

  Have a new view 4.6 built environment, vCenter 4.1 with the composer 2.6 and 2 connection servers v 4.6.0 - 366101

  I have the server vcenter added to the main login using an account admin very good server, evrything looks good until I have create a Pool.

  When I get to the comments Customization screen I need to select a specific ORGANIZATIONAL unit in Active Directory, but when I ge to the screen, this isn't Pick-up from the field.

  If I hit the Browse button, I get an error message saying "Cannot browse Active field null Directory"

  Hello

  You must add users and domain accounts to viewcomposer settings before creating the automated pool.

  This can be done by editing entry vCenter in coneection broker and providing credentials of domain/under "settings View Composer".

  We run ESX 4.0.0 on our guests and we are conducting a demo of VMware View 4.0.  We try to create a pool of office automated using clones related with the composer of the VM.  However, when we create the pool and the composer tries to create a clone using the master Win XP VM we get an error in vCenter (a specified parameter was not correct. spec.snapshot).  In the console admin View 4, we get several ambiguous errors:

  Hi Leo,

  Generally, when there is a single connection pool for a database in the physical layer, the BI server includes this is the single pool of connections for queries (I don't think that really, it checks if there is underlying tables. I think it's because there is a way to add tables to a database by right-clicking on the connection pool and choosing import metadata.).

  As a good practice, when you block init pointing to a specific database, please make sure that you create another pool of connections for use in init blocks. This would ensure that report queries and init blocks do not go on a single pool.

  So, for your case, create a second pool of connections and point your blocks to the second init. Yes, you cannot point to the first because it is bit reserved by BI server for reports. (Unless you change it in the Options menu of .rpd)

  The I ve problem is that when I deploy a pool of computers from a Windows XP template, Virtualcenter begins to create jobs and give the same name to VM on several desktop computers. i. e. I create a pool of 4 desktop computers, I, made a customization of comments through virtualcenter, indicating that the name of the client should be VDI and check the option Add a numeric value.

  When virtualcenter has finished creating the jobs, I see desktop dns names are VDI-0, 0 - VDI, VDI-1 and VDI-1.

  VirtualCenter begins to create VMS by pairs almost at the same time. This is the reason why he assings the same name for 2 virtual machines.

  At present, there is no DHCP. the customization file is set to use DHCP and add to that the field despite this machine will not work.

  I don't know why virtualcenter deploy 2 virtual machines at the same time time.

  Could someone tell me where is the problem?

  First of all, vCenter will always try to do two processes at the same time. You can adjust it when you added vCenter to view (the advanced settings allow you to adjust it higher or lower).

  Second, if the customization file requires DHCP and you do not have, they always miss and that's maybe why you get two the same ID (he's trying to create them, they do not, then trying it again).

  Download DHCP, first working to remove it so that the deployment can fully operate.

• Cannot create the pool network

  When you try to create a PvDC, I get an error in UI vCD which says 'could not be created.  I drilled down into the error and shows the explanation below.  I also checked the - news and newspapers of debugging on both cells in this environment and they just declare the same data.  When you look on the side of the VSM in this puzzle, the "extended network" seems to have been created no problem for this new PvDC.

  Error response VSM (100): id to load is required for loading. nested exception is java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: id to load is required for loading

  Someone noticed on the things to check?

  There were obsolete entries in the database POSSIBLE vCD caught on during the creation process.  Engineering once deleted the obsolete entries, a repair on the PvDC and/or a recreation of the PvDC enabled the creation of network pool to cross.

  When I create a linked clone Desktop Pool im get the host Active directory unavailable error... when I run dcdiag from the Viewconnection server all returns fine / successful... I ping the domain name itself and the controller DC very well from the network... Any idea where I can look to see what the issue is here?

  You should do all of these tests from the vCenter server, here View Composer is running and that's what joined the VM:s in the field.

  I used to work with VMWare ESX 3.5 and had several Office pools - some persist, some not.  I could access the admin of VCenter part using the http://[vCenter]/admin - How do you do that in ESX 4.0 or 4.1?  corresponds to the feature with the creation of pools of office for end-users?

  you will connect to the login server to view rather than the vCenter Server. You can always create the various pools, however, there are some new features in view 4.5.

  You can certainly add the logic required to even create the folder before the list of resources, etc... but this should give you an example on how to create a resource pool.

• ESX3i - create the Pool of resources on the other server?

  I have 2.5 VC and ESX3i in a DRS and HA cluster. Whenever I have create a Resource Pool, he always pulls data from a server, it it never draws from the other server in the cluster.

  So I have a total of 8gigs and 16ghz but when I try to allocate resources it shows that I have 4 gigs.
