I deleted my audio by accident...

Yes, I'm a fool - lol - so thanks for letting me join.

I have a Dell Latitude d620 running Win XP.

I found something called recuva and tried to use it to recover my sound, but there are 1 million things in there that I had deleted, and I don't know which one is the sound or how to find out what it might be.

Thanks for any help.

Hello. Your audio hardware was made by the company Sigmatel and if your computer uses the Sigmatel audio driver. It's probably that you deleted. You can download it here. Once you get it on your computer, double-click it to unzip the files.

I deleted my audio driver how can I add a new? It was on windows xp pro.

Download and install the Audio drivers:

While cleaning my computer to try to speed it up, I accidentally deleted the audio driver and now it says me that the audio driver must be installed and my audio shortcut is zero.

I have tried everything I have to do?

Go to the official website of the manufacturer (example: toshiba.com) and go to the support section and pilots. Physically look at your computer or laptop for the model (example: Toshiba Satellite A300-ST4505). Search for it on the site, download and install the audio driver for Windows XP.

  • Accidentally deleted the audio driver and have more noise

I managed to delete my audio driver.  I don't need an update.  I tried.  I went on the Device Manager, or what it's called and my speakers appear, but they are bright color.    I guess what I need to know is to get a download of a driver.  I am running windows xp pro.  I've looked everywhere and all I find are updates and links to a possible purchase.  I know that windows has free downloads, I just need to know where to get them.  Please help me.  Thank you.

Do re-post with your PC/laptop, name and reference number.

Or go to the manufacturers website and download the audio drivers XP-specific for your model.

If the re - install the drivers does not work, try this:

Right click on desktop > Open > in the menus at the top of the page tools > File Options > tab view (or view) > scroll up to 'Show hidden files' and check it out. > Apply/OK your way out of the small window.

Access the c:\windows\system32\Dllcache and locate the sndvol32.exe file > copy it it here: c\windows\system32 overwrite when asked. Re-start.

    See you soon,.

  • How can I delete an audio book to my i pod

How to remove an audiobook for an I pod

It depends on the method used to load audio books on iPod...  Load you manuallyaudiobooks, by drag-and - drop audio books on iPod from your library, in the iTunes window?  Or you have configured settings screen of the iPod (in iTunes) Sync Audiobook audio books ?

NOTE: The method used is directly related to how you load songs on the iPod.  If you use the method of manually manage the music, the manual method is also used for audio books.  If you use the Sync music to automatically synchronize the songs, you also use the parameter of sync audio books audio books.

To check, select the iPod in iTunes (click on its button on the device on the horizontal bar) to show its settings screen in the iTunes window.  The side left (in the sidebar), under settings, click on audio books.  Right, parameters of audiobooks on the iPod screen.  Without making any changes, is the Synchronization Audiobooks currently checked or unchecked box?

If it is currently checked, you use parameters of audiobooks for the iPod screen to select audiobooks that are in sync with the iPod.  To remove an audiobook, update this screen for the audio book you want deleted is no longer enabled for synchronization, and then click apply.

If the check box sync audio books is currently not checked, you use the Manual method to load audio books on iPod.  To remove an audio book manually, on the settings screen of the iPod, in the sidebar, under on my device, click on audio books.  List of audio books from iPod is shown at right.  Select the audio book that you want to remove, and then press delete on the keyboard.  You can do this with more than one item selected at the same time.

  • GarageBand crashes, then deletes my audio files!

I have a major problem. GarageBand deleted some huge Mu podcast and destroys hours of work.

What has happened, is that I fell. I got the message "GarageBand has stopped suddenly" not useful, no useful explanation.

When I started the program again, it gives me a startup message that says: "Garage Band can not fint files: (FILENAME).»

The missing files are all clam files, not the loops of the integrated library. See screenshot. ("Fant ikke lydfilen" means "found audio file" in Norwegian).

When I open the program, it looks like this:

Files always have "fictional settings" (I don t know the exact term), but no real sounds in them.

I would appreciate help with this, or clues as to how I can contact the Apple Support (real people!). It costs me a lot of time, and as I am self-employed independent which means I have cost me a lot of money.

It looks like GarageBand crashed before you record to the disc and it has not yet added the missing three audio files to the package .band of your project.

First check if the files are involved in the project: select your project in the Finder, ctrl-click, or right-click, and then select the command "Show Package Contents".  In the window that opens, open the Media folder and inside that folder "Audio files".

    Are the lack of files?

If the files are indeed missing, import again to GarageBand to another track. Save the project, quit GarageBand to make close library, then open it again. GarageBand can now find the missing files?

  • How delete/mark Audio and Photos?

    Hello

I just got my new MacBook Pro MF 839 model, I'm new to Mac. I see in the details of storage that my space is being neutralized by the Audio (1.67 GB) and Photos (909.7 MB). Please see screenshot for more details.

I want to know that where these files are and how I delete these files, because I unchecked option iCloud and photos in iCloud defining (screenshot attached).

I checked my local music and pictures folders, nothing is there, so confused em where these files are and how can I make this clear. I'm worried because I have 128 GB of total storage.

    Please guide me.

All that files get users-> folder (aka your "home" directory).

There are folders for music, photos and documents - surprisingly just like in Windows and all the other OS on the planet :-)

Navigate to these folders and start watching. You will learn a lot. 2 GB of things is essentially nothing.

I would like to by a good book on using Mac OS: these are quite fundamental skills for any computer.
