I do not use office, how to avoid updates of this programming?

The only part of the desktop that I use is, MS Photo Editor, so I can create images in layers, office software is useless for me, and I'd rather not end up having the updates for this program. Is it possible for me to not to receive this type of update, as we know that to receive the wrong update it will remove MS Photo Editor, without my permission.

You can configure your computer so that Microsoft Update notify you when updates are available, rather than install the updates automatically.  In this case, you will need to click on the "Custom" button and select the updates to download and install.  To do this, do a right-click workstation, select properties and then click the Automatic Updates tab.

You can also go to Microsoft Update http://www.update.microsoft.com/microsoftupdate/v6/default.aspx?ln=en-us and click on the "Edit settings" link on the left.  Scroll down to "to stop using Microsoft Update.  Check the "disable Microsoft Update software and let me use Windows Update only" and click on "Apply changes now."  Your automatic updates will now be for Windows.  You will need to manually check for updates for other Microsoft products.

    PSE12 cannot be updated to the required version of ACR, 8.2, you need PSE13.

  • Y at - it a keyboard shortcut to use at startup to avoid loading the startup programs?

    For Windows XP I could use the SHIFT key while windows loaded to avoid the start up programs in the startup folder. This does not work for Vista. Is there one similar solution other that changing the msconfig?

    2 click on the button tools, then click Software Explorer.

    3 in the area categoryclick on startup programs.

    4 Select the program that you want to prevent the executionof, , and click on Disable.

    5 click on Yes to confirm that you want to stop this program from running.

    Repeat steps 4 and 5 for each program you want to stop to run.

  • Why index is not used on an editable view update?

    I need help to understand why Oracle 11.2.0.3 is an index for an editable view.  When I refer to the base table, offer$, I access index.  When I reference the view, offer, I get a comprehensive analysis of the offer$.  There's a trigger on the view instead.  Who is factor in there somehow?
