  You have not answered my other question.  I get an error "does not fit" when you publish a movie on dvd. I deleted half the clips in the storyboard and length does not change. I always get the error "will not fit". After I saved the project. It seems that it becomes the length of the imported clips not what is in the table of Storyboard. The length of the table of Storyboard is only 01:30, but the length in the window shows 02:42 that is causing the error.   I have AI CS5 on OS X 10.6.4. I just created an illustration. The problem is that when I try to type in this illustration, the text does not invert to indicate what was selected. The selection work; If I drag on the text, I would like to change, and then type the replacement text, old_text is replaced as expected. But it's as if we were working blindly.

  Show/hide the edges (selected in the view menu or via the Hotkey Cmd / Ctrl + H) is a per document setting. That would explain what you have seen.

  To "fix" your problem document, open, switch to Show Edges, then record under using the same or a different file name. (If you just Save without making further changes to the document, it will not take.)

  recognized as one or more hard drives. You might see

I've updated to the latest Firefox (35). I restored my computer to an earlier date when everything was ok. I downloaded another browser (Chrome) to see if that would fix it. Nothing has worked.   I never noticed this before. Sometimes (when I'm too lazy to get up and do my glasses or cannot find them) I just increase the size of the window.

  To me it seemed that the scroll bar was still there, and then it wasn't. Hours lost, but a lesson learned. I did not mention that I am a fool to the computer, I don't?

• I usually use picasa to upload my images, but for some reason any 'auto play' does not appear when I insert the memory card. Any advice?

  When you use picasa to upload my images I usuall just put the memory card in the Tower, AutoPlay appears and then I can view, download, etc... But now the auto dish doesn't appear so that I can tdoen load one of my images from picasa. Can someone help me with this? Thank you

  Hi willpublx, when you have selected never "remember history" in the privacy options so you are actually in 'permanent private browsing mode' and that there will be an extra mask icon to indicate that.

  Name change is a directory operation.  It would seem that you have read and write access to your directories, but you do not change access.  This highlights a problem with file permissions.  How is 'Simple' the fix depends on which version of Windows you have to a certain extent.

  Windows XP Pro (with "Simple file sharing" turned off) using the security"" tab. When you right-click on a file or a folder and select 'Properties', then click on the 'Security' tab to view and change the permissions.

  Windows XP Home Edition is a bit more complicated.  You can start safe mode and log in as administrator for the 'Security' tab as above, or you can open a command prompt window (start-> Run-> "cmd") and allows you to display the 'cacls' command or change the permissions of files and folders.  You should check that your username has permission to ull 'F' for your records.  Not pretty, but it works.
