  If Firefox is ignorant preference browser.newtab.url, the usual culprit is an extension.

  You can open the page in Firefox Add-ons using either:

  • CTRL + SHIFT + a
  • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons
  • in the Windows "Run" dialog box, type or paste
    firefox.exe "about:addons"

  In the left column, click Extensions. Then, in case of doubt, disable (or delete, if possible) not recognized and unwanted extensions. Do not forget that all extensions are optional, none come with Firefox, and you can learn more about them by checking their reviews on the site of the Add - ons.

  Often, a link will appear above at least an extension disabled to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links in the last step.

  In the old version on every tab I could come back the first thing that I looked very easily by a drop-down list of the arrow to the left.   Right-click on the previous/next arrow for the drop-down list; the small arrow on the Back/Forward button has been removed. In the drop-down menu, aware of the position in that the tab history is in 'bold' with the above being 'Back' and the following is "forward". As you move your cursor over the list of questions, you'll see a back ("" < "") or forward ("" > "") arrow to the left of each item.

  You need to update the following:

  • Adobe Shockwave for Director Netscape plug-in, version 11.5
  • Next-generation Java plug-in 1.6.0_22 for Mozilla browsers
  1. Check your plugin versions on one of the following links:

  How to get Vista recovery Media or the Vista recovery Partition on your computer back to factory settings.

  There is no Vista free download legal available.

  Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

  Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

  In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.

  See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.

  How do I find my version of Microsoft Windows 7 Spider Solitaire in Windows 8, with an option of four trials and all usual am familiar? I can't find a way to navigate anything I click! One of the main reasons I'm dying to upgrade to windows 7 (am severely warned not to dare!) is that for some reason any nasty and quite average, Microsoft has decided to end with spider solitaire and other games, as we know them. I can't for the life of me think why, in the construction of windows 8, it is necessary to change everything, EVERYTHING, including things that worked very well. I can't close all documents, (where is my beloved simple button X!). I hate Bing which was forced down my throat and do not even get started me on the button Start missing! I'm not a computer whizz, just a regular user and am frustrated as *! If it isn't broken don't fix! Someone suggested that maybe big companies he has requested. Well, removed only in the professional versions and keep them in the House versions! Mscheeewwww! I am really bitter with Microsoft. If I had known how much of a monster is this Windows 8, I swear that I would never have bought a new computer preloaded with it. I miss my fabulous wonderful beautiful Windows 7. Alas! They stole my computer so I had to return it to the store! Life would be more unfair? Someone give me please a little redemption by helping me find my Spider solitaire I know - simple fun, simple and clean. You open and play and close or save it.
