I don't see any networks...

Hey,.
I tried for probably 10hrs now to solve a problem that has led to me crazy. When I click on "connect to the ' to connect to my home wireless network, it shows no networks. I tried to restart my computer, and then resolved nothing. I also tried:
-The substitution of this problem through command prompt (nothing)
-Regedit.exe - I tried to put some of the settings (nothing)
-Services.msc - I tried to manually start all I know to start the gateway service of layer of application-that is to say, net connections, plug-and-play, Manager of access connections remote auto, remote access connection manager, remote procedure call, and phone

I have noticed that when I tried the last one, alg.exe has not been started, and when I tried to start it, it says "error 3: the system cannot find the path specified" I feel that this has something to do with it, but may not know to solve. I tried to solve the problem via a command prompt, but still nothing.

At the command prompt, I tried the command, set autoconfig active = Yes interface "Wireless network connection", it did not work and the response has been "wireless auto configuration does not work. I don't know how to fix this, or why my autoconfig is not running. I tried to start the autoconfiguration WLAN service through services.msc and it returns a message saying "error 1068: the Group of addiction or service could not start".

Please help me. I've been going in circles for hours trying the same things again and again and I am very angry and seriously consider switching to Mac.

Thank you very much
Morgaan W.

Hello

Remove ALL the power from your router and Modem (unplug power cord) for 3 + minutes-
then reconnect the Modem - wait a minute, then the router - wait a minute-
Restart the computer.

-------------------------------

Your router could be suspicious here, you have successfully updated its firmware as a possible solution?
And I would update your WiFi drivers on computers. How you are positioned
the router? Are there obstacles in the path?

Actually try updating your driver and disabling the network logon.

Control Panel - network - write down of the brand and the model of the Wifi - double click on it - the driver
-write version - tab click Update driver (can't do anything as MS is far behind
certification of drivers). Then right click on the device Wifi and UNINSTALL - Reboot - it will be
update the driver stack.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

How to install a device driver in Vista Device Manager

Download - SAVE - go where you put it - right click – RUN AS ADMIN.

You can download several at once however restart after the installation of each of them.

After watching the system manufacturer, you can check the manufacturer of the device an even newer version.
(Those become your fonts of rescue system manufacturer).

Repeat for network (NIC) card and is a good time to get the other updated drivers Vista
love the updated drivers.

I would also turn off auto update for the drivers. If Windows Update suggests a just HIDE
because they are almost always old, and you can search drivers manually as needed.

------------------------------------------------------

Make sure you know the details of connection to your wireless router - SSID and password.

You lose connection when you do and have to redo your logon.

Control Panel - Network & Sharing Center - right, click custom - defined network
Locations page - down left click on merge or delete locations networks - REMOVE ALL THE
instances of your network (and others, you no longer use) - REBOOT. Start - connect
To connect to the network.
