  1. are you able to open other programs very well?

  2 have you made any changes to the computer before the show?

  3 have you tried to maximize the window?

   

  Method 1: Try to expand the window and see if that helps.

   

  Method 2: Try to open the program face the files on the hard drive and see if that helps.

  See the following steps:

  (a) create a folder on the desktop

  (b) open the DVD player, copy the files from the DVD

  (c) paste the files in the folder

  (d) tries to open the program from the desktop folder and see if it opens fine.

  There is nothing to fix. Part of MSE is the same work as Windows Defender so it shut down to avoid conflicts. You might as well remove it from your machine.

  Upgrade to the current version, which is Lightroom 5.7.1. You can do it from the Lightroom Help menu and choose updates.
