  Windows 8 is a finished product, and Outlook 2013 was a finished product even before that. So I think it's a very safe assumption that it will not change in Windows 8 or office 2013.

  But remember, Windows 8 is and has always been the automatic built-in ability to display the unread emails for Outlook/Exchange/IMAP accounts on the lock screen.  All you have to do is to add your e-mail account in the mail application so it can do.  You never need to open, use or see the messaging application.   My guess is that you have activated the key ID to unlock your iPhone. What is happening is that you free up your iPhone with your finger placed on a home button before accessing the camera.

  Try using one different finger other than a finger that you added to unlock your iPhone in "settings > Touch ID & password."

  Otherwise, disable Touch ID and try to reproduce the problem with access to the camera in the lockscreen, then your library.
