• Pavilion 17-F001dx: my laptop backlight is something really weird + hang on restart/shutdown

  This laptop is by far (on paper) more powerful than my previous E1 AMD processor powered notebook; but since I got it (it is refurbished, but in the warantey of 90 days as I've had it less than 2 weeks) it was much less responsive than my laptop prior. I get weird popups as follows:

  Every time I restart there are several applications, I've never seen on my laptop prior "prevents me to restart"; including just a file Explorer window and there are always abnormally slow restart and shutdown. He also takes his sweet time of mode "Eve".

• I don't know I'm doing something really stupid, but...

  I feel that I ' ^ m do something really stupid here, but I can not understand.

  When I run this piece of code, I should theoretically return a valid pointer when you find the right Pid and Vid for a USB device.   For now, it ONLY works if I run it with the correct Vid and Pid raising first (the returned value is NULL) and then call it with an ANOTHER Vid and Pid.

  Is there a timing issue with the usb_close or something?

  As you can see, I tried running without the close function, but the same thing happens.

• Tasks really weird when you insert photoshop files in my indesign document

  I had encountered this problem before. Then I exported the file in JPEG format and print from there on.

  But now he really mind what adobe does.

  I'm creating a birthcard. There, I designed the background (in indesign with lines simple and circles). Photo with Ribbon that I designed in photoshop. Circle around the image model is also in Indesign.

  When I print this file from indesign, I have really weird stains on my part of Photoshop document.  You can check it in the attachment.

  If I export and print it from there, the tasks are nowhere to be seen.

  Is this some weird setting that I looked over? The Photoshop document is in CMYK format.

• Really weird hard drive partitions.

  Hi, I read on the forum about this, but I have not found any post from anyone with all partitions that I have on my hard drive, by the way my laptop is a Lenovo G480 (20149) brand new and what you see on the screenshot is what it comes as lenovo, I didn't touch anything yet , but it seems to me that 11 partitions is a little too tight?

  Can someone please explain to me why I have 5 partitions that are exactly the same?

  I have 8 on my flex 14, do not know why you have 11, but I really wouldn't touch them. I consider that these are partitions of recovery and utility OKR

• Really weird bluescreens of my HP Envy 15 (P/n: nx356aar)

  Recently I have formatted my laptop and installed windows from scratch, because I couldn't deal with the weird police put nationwide and other strange software bugs in the "stuff" that comes pre-installed with a desire 15 bat more.

  Since I have problems to blue screen during the start screen of windows from a "cold start" State (and only when boothing in Windows 7 x 64-cold-start from my USB pendrive linux works very well, every time), then by "cold start" I mean is this happens only immediately when I turn on the PC of an engine totally out of State.  If I start in safe mode then restart from there it will work correctly.

  The error I see is usually either STOP 0 x 0101 (CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT) "an interruption of clock has not received on a secondary processor in the allotted time interval.

  -OR-

  STOP 0 x 09 (MACHINE_CHECK_EXCEPTION) - but this one is much less common.

  In addition I can cause a blue screen or restart spontaneous if once I'm inside windows I ask the machine to go on standby or hibernate modes.

  All this leads me to believe there is some sort of power management / ACPI drivers and/or software that I'm missing because I formatted.  Check on the HP drivers for this machine - http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?os=4063&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&sw_lang=&product=4048... - page nothing immediately according to descriptions jumps on me as something that I have to install to solve this problem.  Also, the Device Manager shows no missing driver / broken.  SP1 is installed and the windows updates are completely up-to-date.  BIOS is fully updated as well.

  Any ideas?  Should I just format it again and I hope it continues to occur?

  I see the same problem on my desire to 15 institutions.  (Beats edition No.)  I think I started to receive this error message after you install the latest amd catalyst drivers, although I had other questions before too, so if something drivers gets worse.

  I plan on restructuring and tryign hp provided drivers to see if that helps.  If you find a real solution, please post back and let us know!

• A really weird text formatting problem

  I tried to fix a weird text problem in a new InDesign document.

  Behavior: When I hit enter at the end of a line, it gives me a jump page instead of a newline behavior. All the following text is presented on the next page.

  Installation: I have created a group of text boxes (simple script, wall of text, no images), lie on several pages and active the text stream. Then I placed the text via the import command. This is a.doc file and checked, the text it contains is behaving properly. I turned on "View hidden characters" and are all it shows end of paragraphs.   So of course, I became a developer. Laughing out loud. What you are trying to self, first open settings, then tap phone. Then scroll down to the build number. So keep typing just as you would for the jellybean Easter egg. And walla, you're a developer. If it does not turn on developer options and try again. I don't know if it's a bug or an another Easter egg. Good luck.

  This isn't a bug. Motorola, I guess, decided to hide the developer options. I guess they were trying to keep the simple settings. What you have found, this is the way recommended for the developer options. You must actually type 7 times before it will display the developer options. I hope this helps.

• REALLY weird Y570 screen problem. Video card problem?

  So I have a lenovo y570, and during random times of the day, my screen ends up looking like this.

  Now, once that I clic click on the screen, scroll upwards or downwards or refresh the page, the image disappears, so this isn't a serious problem, its all just annoying. I have already updated the video card driver and uninstalled mcafee (who got rid of other problems that I had), but this problem still remains. Any suggestions?

  I've been messing around with this for seriously almost 4 hours to try to understand and I have to be brain dead or something, but I can't understand what I'm doing wrong...

  try to install new OS le.83.

  1. download the OS files to the PC then install on the PC by running (double click) the downloaded file.
  2. go in c:\program files Research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml."
  3. plug in the BB and double-click on "Loader.exe." It is located in the same place as the above vendor.xml file.

  The process takes about 45 minutes to an hour depending on the amount of data you need to back up and restore during the process. Once he did load the new OS, it will reboot (it may do it twice during the entire process.) You will see a white screen with a hourglass up to 20 minutes at a time while the DM says "waiting for initialization."
  If, for any reason, you end up with a white screen with small icons and the number 507, simply reconnect to the PC and run Loader.exe again and it should load the operating system on the device.

• Dual monitor - really weird problem.

  I posted this same question awhile back, but now I have more information that my fix this.

  Windows 7pro, 24g of RAM, 2 - dual 1 g cards, two 1 TB drives, PS5 64bits.

  GPU - open GL is on, try off, seems not to matter.

  I tried with Zoom clicked point to Center on and outside.

  I tried Zoom Resizes Windows - on and outside.

  Zoom clicked at the central point, and outside.

  I use three monitors - left - 24 "Samsung, intermediate level - 27 '' Dell and right - 24 '' Dell.

  I started with PS and it opens on the right screen.  All my tools, menus, panels... stay on the right screen and the picture is moved from the right monitor to the central monitor. Before I drag the tab to the Middle monitor I can zoom in and move the photo anywhere I want with the hand tool, which is the upper left corner of the photo can be positioned in the center of the screen.  Once I have move tab (picture) for the monitor environment I can not move the picture that he's stuck horizontally and vertically, I can't get any gray area, if full screen and the photo will not move.  I can navigate in the navigator pane, but I can't move the picture around the screen using the hand tool, I can if left in right monitor.  Now if I move things around, using the central monitor for the tool, panels etc and move the tab to the right monitor it still doesn't move.  If I move the rear tab of the average monitor to the right screen, everything works fine.  It's really odd behavior.  I dragged to the left monitor as well, does not work, only in the original window files was launched in.

  Does anyone else have this problem?  could someone please try this, surely someone has a configuration dual monitor.  Thank you.

• There is something really wrong with the linked files

  I have two days to try to solve this problem, but I can't. The demo movie has 6 related images, 1 flash not bound and 1 bound blink. If I plublish it with Director 10.1.1 everything is ok. But when I publish this in director 11, do not show the linked files. If I play the movie in the folder dswmedia, works fine, but when I try on a browser, do not work.   OK, this is what I found. When I publish it to the web in director 11 and linked files in the files tab, most to check "copy linked and dependent files' and Director 11 creates a dswMedia folder, where to put a copy of the linked files, and that is the path to these files.

  Now its tome for a remake/update of it. I want to rebuild it so that you have a better overview of the site.

  Use the swap image behavior in the dw behaviors panel.

  Make sure that all images have a name/ID assigned to them.

  Click on the button you want to fly and assign a swap image, and
  Choose the image such as remote image to change to another picture.
