Really weird bluescreens of my HP Envy 15 (P/n: nx356aar)

Recently I have formatted my laptop and installed windows from scratch, because I couldn't deal with the weird police put nationwide and other strange software bugs in the "stuff" that comes pre-installed with a desire 15 bat more.

Since I have problems to blue screen during the start screen of windows from a "cold start" State (and only when boothing in Windows 7 x 64-cold-start from my USB pendrive linux works very well, every time), then by "cold start" I mean is this happens only immediately when I turn on the PC of an engine totally out of State.  If I start in safe mode then restart from there it will work correctly.

The error I see is usually either STOP 0 x 0101 (CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT) "an interruption of clock has not received on a secondary processor in the allotted time interval.

-OR-

STOP 0 x 09 (MACHINE_CHECK_EXCEPTION) - but this one is much less common.

In addition I can cause a blue screen or restart spontaneous if once I'm inside windows I ask the machine to go on standby or hibernate modes.

All this leads me to believe there is some sort of power management / ACPI drivers and/or software that I'm missing because I formatted.  Check on the HP drivers for this machine - http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?os=4063&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&sw_lang=&product=4048... - page nothing immediately according to descriptions jumps on me as something that I have to install to solve this problem.  Also, the Device Manager shows no missing driver / broken.  SP1 is installed and the windows updates are completely up-to-date.  BIOS is fully updated as well.

Any ideas?  Should I just format it again and I hope it continues to occur?

I see the same problem on my desire to 15 institutions.  (Beats edition No.)  I think I started to receive this error message after you install the latest amd catalyst drivers, although I had other questions before too, so if something drivers gets worse.

I plan on restructuring and tryign hp provided drivers to see if that helps.  If you find a real solution, please post back and let us know!

  • A really weird text formatting problem

    I tried to fix a weird text problem in a new InDesign document.

    Behavior: When I hit enter at the end of a line, it gives me a jump page instead of a newline behavior. All the following text is presented on the next page.

    Installation: I have created a group of text boxes (simple script, wall of text, no images), lie on several pages and active the text stream. Then I placed the text via the import command. This is a.doc file and checked, the text it contains is behaving properly. I turned on "View hidden characters" and are all it shows end of paragraphs. Even the place where to get the odd page break, it shows only paragraph. I tried to play with the styles of character, paragraph styles, pipette, formatting of tool... nothing works. This problem appears in several chapter headings in the document, but not all.

    Since yesterday my iMac 27 inches of the end 2009 has acted weird. Text was not good more visible and popupscreen were empty, white or black. (do not know why they are uploaded in reverse)

    Then I tried a clean install. Screen was working again fine. Then formatted my drive and installed the new OSX.

    Install El Capitan from scratch

  • Really weird hard drive partitions.

    Hi, I read on the forum about this, but I have not found any post from anyone with all partitions that I have on my hard drive, by the way my laptop is a Lenovo G480 (20149) brand new and what you see on the screenshot is what it comes as lenovo, I didn't touch anything yet , but it seems to me that 11 partitions is a little too tight?

    Can someone please explain to me why I have 5 partitions that are exactly the same?

  • REALLY weird Y570 screen problem. Video card problem?

    So I have a lenovo y570, and during random times of the day, my screen ends up looking like this.

    Now, once that I clic click on the screen, scroll upwards or downwards or refresh the page, the image disappears, so this isn't a serious problem, its all just annoying. I have already updated the video card driver and uninstalled mcafee (who got rid of other problems that I had), but this problem still remains. Any suggestions?

  • Pavilion 17-F001dx: my laptop backlight is something really weird + hang on restart/shutdown

    This laptop is by far (on paper) more powerful than my previous E1 AMD processor powered notebook; but since I got it (it is refurbished, but in the warantey of 90 days as I've had it less than 2 weeks) it was much less responsive than my laptop prior. I get weird popups as follows:

    And even the tabs in internet explore crashing and reloading for the basic sites like the google home page.

    Every time I restart there are several applications, I've never seen on my laptop prior "prevents me to restart"; including just a file Explorer window and there are always abnormally slow restart and shutdown. He also takes his sweet time of mode "Eve".

    And earlier, my screen faded very bright and blinking then black a few times. For now, I fixed it to the maximum brightness and it looks like a medium brightness. It is after the restart after this strange behavior out of the blue backlight.

  • Dual monitor - really weird problem.

    I posted this same question awhile back, but now I have more information that my fix this.

    Windows 7pro, 24g of RAM, 2 - dual 1 g cards, two 1 TB drives, PS5 64bits.

    GPU - open GL is on, try off, seems not to matter.

    I tried with Zoom clicked point to Center on and outside.

    I tried Zoom Resizes Windows - on and outside.

    Zoom clicked at the central point, and outside.

    I use three monitors - left - 24 "Samsung, intermediate level - 27 '' Dell and right - 24 '' Dell.

    I started with PS and it opens on the right screen.  All my tools, menus, panels... stay on the right screen and the picture is moved from the right monitor to the central monitor. Before I drag the tab to the Middle monitor I can zoom in and move the photo anywhere I want with the hand tool, which is the upper left corner of the photo can be positioned in the center of the screen.  Once I have move tab (picture) for the monitor environment I can not move the picture that he's stuck horizontally and vertically, I can't get any gray area, if full screen and the photo will not move.  I can navigate in the navigator pane, but I can't move the picture around the screen using the hand tool, I can if left in right monitor.  Now if I move things around, using the central monitor for the tool, panels etc and move the tab to the right monitor it still doesn't move.  If I move the rear tab of the average monitor to the right screen, everything works fine.  It's really odd behavior.  I dragged to the left monitor as well, does not work, only in the original window files was launched in.

    Does anyone else have this problem?  could someone please try this, surely someone has a configuration dual monitor.  Thank you.

    Hello, it's probably a problem with hardware acceleration. try to update your graphics driver, or in case this does not solve the problem, or there is no new version available at the time, disable hardware acceleration in firefox > options > advanced > General.

  • really weird math in flash

    OK - I have a function that looks at some data grabs a variable which is an object, another variable that is a parameter and adds it to a third number, which is a variable... it looks like this...

    Item number [parameter] +=;

    This is all pretty standard stuff... but it's absolutely crazy! When I hard code a value in the number, it works fine. When I enter the number of a table of numbers, adding does not change the value of the parameter.

    I have a really weird problem. I need to adjust the sound levels for a clip, so I export the sound to Cubase. The original sound has been left only lane, so I export it in mono to get into 2 channels. In Cubase, I do all the necessary balancing etc., then export it in stereo. (If I play this exported version, it plays in stereo). Then I import into Premiere Pro, but now he plays on the left channel.  Why?

    I'm glad you added this edition because that probably reveals the root of your problem.  I think that there is something you do not correctly in Cubase to export it in stereo.  I have reproduced your problem using a different DAW that allows 1) stereo, 2) Mono Split and 3) Mono exports.  You can also duplicate a stereo file L only at a second way Exchange channel and then select two channels and bounce audio since the two tracks to a stereo file.  With the swap of the second track, you get a stereo file R only, but this bouncing with the stereo file only L will produce a stereo L - R file that matter properly in first CS5.0.  I hope you can understand where the fold is in your export of Cubase.

    I bought a new laptop (HP Envy 15-k050sr, Windows 8.1) and I have a very bad Wi - Fi connection. I work at 0.5 meter of Wi - Fi router... If I move to another room or even in a few metres away, the laptop constantly loses the connection Wi - Fi and the speed is also very bad.     Yesterday, I checked a large number of different items and solved the problem. I installed the two packages, not sure that it is fixed.

    1 sp58720 - HP wireless button Driver. The aircraft was unknown on my laptop, so I found about and installed the driver. But actually I don't have the button on the laptop. It's really weird.

    2 sp64950 - 2012 Ralink Wireless LAN Controller driver. I do not think that this can affect on the problem, because I do not have the Ralink devices here, but actually I found a HP page with recommendations to install the driver in the event of such problems for the long list laptops, including the HP Envy 15.

    I hope it helps someone to solve the same problems.
