    For some reason any creative cloud uninstalled in a way because it's not on my apps and when I try to download CC I get code error 87.     Whenever I try to update the creative cloud application, it sticks to 71% and it shows an error reading "Installer could not access a critical file. Please try to reinstall. (Error code: 43). "I tried several times and even after a system restart and a permissions repair, I get the same error. Any suggestions?

    I went through the towers with chat support on this issue. I'll list the steps and also the chat session, we had here:

    Steps to follow:

    1. Open the activity monitor and close Adobe all related applications
    2. Navigate to: / Library/Application support/Adobe
    3. In this directory, you will see a folder named OOBE - rename this folder in OOBEold
    4. Navigate to: MAC HD/Applications/Utilities directory
    5. There, you will see a folder named "Adobe Application Manager" - remove
    6.     Welcome to the windows vista forums.

    1. stop the Windows Update service (make sure that you are logged on as administrator)

    Click the Start button | Control Panel | System and Maintenance | Administration tools
    Double-click Services.
    (Provide the administrator password or a confirmation if prompted to do so.)
    Right-click the Windows Update service and click on stop.

    2. Click Start, type %windir%\System32 in the search box and press ENTER.

    Find and rename the folder C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution.

    3. start the Windows Update service

    Start button | Control Panel | System and Maintenance | Administration tools
    Double-click Services.
    (Provide the administrator password or a confirmation if prompted to do so.)
    Right-click the Windows Update service and click Start.

    This procedure will erase your history on the Windows Update Site. Not important.

    Don't forget to restart and then try the update again. If there is no corruption in that
    folder, it would be gone now.

     

    Please, try now to windows update and check if you get the error.
