I get an error number when sending e-mail.

I get the following error when sending an email. My ISP is century link. It seems that what is happening when I have attached a picture.

Your server suddenly put an end to the connection. The possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. "Austin and Michael in Orlando," account: "pop.mail.yahoo.com", server: 'smtp.mail.yahoo.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, secure (SSL): Yes, error number: 0x800CCC0F

Hi Ashley,

You cannot type the email addresses on this Web site, the site will remove them automatically to protect against e-mail spam attacks and phishing.  If you need to contact Bob, he should call Qwest or directly visit the site Web of Qwest.

Bob,

It is not recommended that you call a phone number if someone never puts on this site as a response to you.  You never know if the phone number goes to real society or just a con man (it is common that the fraudsters to make so that they may encourage you to install viruses or scam you more money).  So if you want to contact Qwest, only do this by going to the site Web of Qwest and call the official number for them.

  • I get an error message saying that the mail was not sent when sending a PDF file in Outlook Express.

    Outlook Express 6

    Hello
Recently, if I send a big PDF file via outlook, after attempting to send the files, I get an error message saying that the mail has not been sent. The files remain in the Outbox, but when I check with the recipient, they confirm that they have received the mail! This has only recently begun to happen. Any suggestions? Thank you

Check: File | Work offline and in: reviews | Layout: uncheck the preview pane. Open the Outbox and delete the message.

If that does not create a new box of sent, and sent items.

Follow these steps for the Outbox and sent items after you move the messages you want to save to a local folder that you create.

Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.

In Windows XP, the files of user OE (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder Options icon | Opinion, or in Windows Explorer. Tools | Folder options | View.

With OE closed, find the Outbox.dbx and Sent Items.dbx file and remove them. New files will be created automatically when you open OE.

  • How can I get help outlook express? When I send a mail, I get an error message indicating the e-mail was sent not.

Had problems with Outlook Express.  When I send a mail, I get an error message indicating the e-mail was sent not.  The e-mail has been sent, but it never leaves the output area.  I have to go and delete the e-mail.  Then I don't have a folder of e-mails, except in my deleted file.
    Any help would be appreciated.

You have apparent dbx file corruption.

Spend most of your messages out of the Inbox and then create new folders to send and sent items box after having moved the messages you want to save to a local folder that you create.

Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.

In Windows XP, Win2K & Win2K3 the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder Options icon | Opinion, or in Windows Explorer. Tools | Folder options | View.

With OE closed, find the DBX files for the items in the Outbox and sent and delete them.  New ones will be created automatically when you open OE.

After you're done, followed by compacting your folders manually while working * off * and do it often.

Click Outlook Express at the top of the the folder tree so no folders are open. Then: File | Work offline (or double-click on work online in the status bar). File | Folder | Compact all folders. Don't touch anything until the compacting is completed.

    General precautions for Outlook Express:

Do not archive mail in the receipt or sent items box. Create your own user-defined folders and move messages you want to put in them. Empty the deleted items folder daily. Although the dbx files have a theoretical capacity of 2 GB, I recommend all a 300 MB max for less risk of corruption.

Disable analysis in your e-mail anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer of protection that devours the CPUs, slows down sending and receiving and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs, account setting changes and has even been responsible for the loss of messages. Your up-to-date A / V program will continue to protect you sufficiently. For more information, see:

I get an Error Message When you try to send emails. "some errors occurred while processing the requested tasks. Please see the list of errors below for more details".

But it sends the message anyway... multiple copies, and she also is put in the "Outbox" in Outlook Express as if it is not sent.

To stop the email to be sent repeatedly to the recipient, I erase it from the "Outbox" but a) you don't know if they really got it) b it is embarrassing for the receiver c) is this a bug I can fix it?

    Thanks for any help.

  • Cannot receive or send mail using the Windows Mail get 0x800CCC18 error number

How can I fix the problem?
Cannot receive or send mail using the Windows Mail get 0x800CCC18 error number
Windows mail was working fine until about 2: 30 EST 2011-12-14 and tried to send an email and got the above error msg.

Check with your mail service provider to make sure that there is not an intermittent interruption of service.  If you have webmail capabilities, you can also check.  Otherwise, compact and repair the database (www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/) and if that doesn't help, remove your e-mail account, close and reopen WinMail and then add it back back.  Also check 3rd party program interference such as antivirus software (see www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3).

    Original title: error number: 0 x 80070424

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/968002

Error code 0 x 80070424 you describe also means "ERROR_SERVICE_DOES_NOT_EXIST".  Windows Update depends on the following two services:

    (1) Windows Update
    (2) background Intelligent Transfer (BIT)

If it turns out that these services are disabled or missing, you will encounter this error code.  Therefore, you will need to ensure that the necessary services are available and running.  Here's how:

    1. click on Start, type services.msc in the Search text box, and then click services.msc in the list programs. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click continue.

    2. double-click on Background Intelligent Transfer Service.

    3. If the starting state lists Stopped, click Start , and then click OK.

    4. double-click on Windows Update.

    5. If the starting state lists Stopped, click Start , and then click OK.

    6. double-click on my computer.

    7. If the starting state lists Stopped, click Start , and then click OK.

    8. close the Services window and try to install the updates again.

If the Background Intelligent Transfer Service does not appear in the list of Services, click the following link to view the article on the Microsoft web site and download the update: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/939159/en-us.
