  There is a Norton (Symantic) logo in the lower left corner of this message.

  It is most annoying.  Can anyone help?  It's my server that is at fault, or is this something else?

  It is certainly not related to Thunderbird.

  You can see the Charter for more information (e.g. https://m.charter.com/views/helpEmail_ClientErrorMessages.aspx). However, at least one of the sites you mention generates an error. You will need to fix that first.
