• Get 6 Lightroom on my mac pro - please help

  I brought a physical copy of Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 6 but my macbook pro 13-inch is not a disk drive, so I can't run it. Do you know how I can get it on my mac? I have the serial number and the pin code, but when I try to find a way to download the software from the Adobe Web site all I get is how to pay monthly for lightroom cc or how to pay for lightroom 6 online that I obviously want to do that I already paid for it.

  I'm fighting for a week at least. The HARD drive failed on this pc.

  So it is a pure Windows Vista 64 bit install on a new hard drive.

  It's pc to my son and he did not create recovery discs.

  I used this nvidia chipset sp36607 (evil)

  The chipset for this laptop is not listed here > HP Pavilion dv2845se Verve Entertainment Notebook PC Drivers

  I installed the drivers in this order, because I thought it was the right order. Correct me if I'm wrong.

  (1) sp36607 Chipset

  (2) graphic sp37860

  (3) sp39679 Audio (installation fails. so I used windows update to install this)

  (4) sp37859 Modem

  sp38361 5) HP Quickplay

  (6) sp38688 HP Quick Launch Buttons

  (7) sp39249 Driver WiFi

  8 (a) sp37809 Ricoh 5-1 driver card reader (I chose it because of the uncertainty and because of several apparently in conflict)

  8 (b) sp37872 Ricoh Media Card Reader driver host controller (it is on the page above)

  9 a) Alps Touchpad sp42605 the (I chose this because of the uncertainty and because of several apparently in conflict)

  I rebooted after each installation of driver to see if that helps.

  I have the BSOD after installing the Alps... it seems to coincide?

  Stop errors are 124 material... ram passes memtest86 + and I use a test drive Seagate tools just because I don't really know what to do at this point. I reinstalled the OS 4 or 5 times already.

  What in the world I am doing wrong? This is by far the more difficult pc for me so far.

  Sorry you have such a hard time there.

  It is possible that the motherboard is shot, but not because of what you did by installing the drivers.

  The dv2000, books of Series 6000 and 9000 with the nvidia chipset and graphics had serious problems of motherboard, and the more you use the PC - especially if they played video games on it, faster boards are dead.

  HP even had a recall several years ago on these models have replaced motherboards.

  There is another possibility, and it is one of the memory of the chip is bad.  You can remove one and see if the laptop works again.  If it's the same thing, pass the memory chips.  If it still does not work, then it is possible, that it was just time to go.

  Unplug the adapter and remove the battery before working inside the laptop.

  You deleted a Windows file system file, or a folder of bookmarks in Firefox?

  If you delete a folder in the Windows file system, normally it goes in the trash. See: ws.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/recover-files-recycle-bin#1TC=windows-7

  If you have deleted a folder of bookmarks in Firefox, and if you have not closed out of Firefox, you can undo the change in the Library dialog box. Either:

  • CTRL + SHIFT + b
  • Menu button bookmarks > show all bookmarks

  In the menu/toolbar of the dialog bar library search organize (the first menu) and use Undo. You may need to use several times if you have made other changes after that.

• Impossible to change the resolution after a system restore - please help

  This afternoon I had my PC freeze when using iTunes. I tried to restart but got major error messages. I had to use "System Restore" a number of times that to have the machine to restart a version blown upward my wallpaper - no cursor, icons or the ability to use the button start. I finally managed to get back to a point where I still once restored the system but still once stood breathtaking version of the background, however, this time with the slider control. When I right click on customize, it does not open for me to change the resolution.

  Fixed. Corrupt graphics card. Downloaded and installed new drivers.
