  This is probably due to a mismatch between what is in the message store and which think that the database is in the message store.  Try to compact and repair the database and see if that fixes the problem.  See www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/

• To get started with Ajax - how to query the db without 'submit' page?

  Hi guys,.

  I'm building a simple "power point presentation" - essentially a CF page that can display a large jpg [slide]) all n seconds, I want the page to query the db to ask whether it is necessary to change the jpg and as appropriate who jpg to see her now.   I'm fine with all the code html and cfm stuff--where I'm stuck is bit of js, I've had a look through google and do not seem to make any progress so if someone could tell me please in the right direction I would be very grateful.

  As well as the very popular jQuery and prototype libraries already mentioned, ColdFusion uses for its wizardary Ajax extJS library and Adobe also provides the Spry library.  Or you can roll you own and upwards, use the function xmlHTTPrequest() JavaScript.

  But I would like to especially underline that all these libraries using the xmlHTTPrequest() feature and that really, you apply to the server, you use just of to do behind the scenes so that the user does not see this JavaScript.  But in regards to the client browser and the server is what are normal requests HTTP and not different responses so if the user clicked on a link or submitting a form.

  This is often due to put antivirus software to analyze mail.  See www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3

  First of all, if you can, check via webmail account is not working properly and it is not a problem with your e-mail service provider.

  Then, try to delete the e-mail account, close Winmail and compact and repair the database (see www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/) then add your account to e-mail back again.  This usually resolves these issues.

  I have Windows 8 64-bit on a computer laptop touchscreen HP. Mail application came pre-installed.
  The internet connection on this laptop works very well (its what I use to write this message)
  The mail app will RECEIVE mail, but it will not just SEND it. Only, it lies in the Outbox and does nothing, no progress, bar nothing.
  It comes to getting the error messages:
  "There is a problem sending this message. Please check with your provider for more information. »
  "Reconnect to the internet and the synchronization... '. »

  As I said, my internet connection is fine.
  As far as I see it, there is no way to get to settings of mail to check for what he complains. It would be nice if there was a progress bar or something to show that it does something.

  If there are no hoops to jump through to get this thing to work, the procedures are not clearly explained and are not visible.

  Update: after a long time of trying, a message finally popped up saying that I had to be connected to the Outlook on the web, so I did and this is when 2 of the test emails have been sent.  Regarding the message #3, I always get a message that "there was a problem right now sending messages to . Check with your provider for more information"and it also says to reconnect to the internet, and then try again. And Yes, I was always connected to Outlook on the web when I received this notification. I tried some additional tests, both signed in Outlook and then outside, some with an attachment, some just the text. There are now 5 test messages that app Mail are not sent.

  This success appears to be random. Sometimes he will send, most of the time he refused.

  I tested again today and included a photo attachment in the email test. It seemed to work fine.   Recently I can not send or forward emails to myself.  I use Windows Vista Home Premium and Windows Mail.  My Windows Mail comes through Verizon ISP.  The emails I send or transmit to myself are in my Inbox from Verizon, but they do not come in my Inbox Windows, even if it shows that I have "new message".  Even when I try to send my Verizon Inbox to myself, the email will not come, but it will tell me that I have new messages.

  Well, babacar, you were lucky that Verizon was trying to help out you.  When I called AT & T, they told me that was a problem of software 3rd party, they could not help me, and I should call Microsoft.  Like you, I am on disability and can't afford to pay the costs of assistance.  So, it is certainly a problem of Microsoft.  Maybe on one of the updates it I screwed up.

  I own a LINKSYS WUSB100 usb adapter I used for my wifes desktop... I can connect to my home network to surf the net, but the signal is weak...  I decided to buy a 25' EXTNESION USB CABLE, which comes with a MALE AND FEMALE ends... I simply PLUGGED the cable on my DESK and PLUG the other end of the USB cable from the LINKSYS WUSB100 card and waiting for the COMPUTER TO RECOGNIZE the card without any problems... To MY SURPRISE, the computer would not have hired the LINKSYS CARD... He said "the search for new deivce, peripheral found but not hired"(Something like that)... in any case the desktype sees the device, but willl not hired there as a LINKSYS and I cannot search FRO all networks... As soon as I unplug the LINKSYS of the cable and plug it into the USB port of the computer - BAM my network comes up with a weak signal... Can anyone understand this? My cable is too long?

  There is a standard length for the cable. It will not work with 20 foot extension... Try the cable up to 3-4 feet short and check.

• To create a text box with a colored background but the text didn't appear not

  I'm doing a map of color-coding. It's just a black and white base card, but I filled in the cities with different colors using the paint bucket tool, to show which region they belong to.

  At the bottom of the map is a list of five regional offices and the offices of the area covered by each of them. I was hoping to create a box around the text, and then fill it (the box) with the color that corresponds to that particular region.

  Using the rectangle selection tool, I call a box around the text and filled with color. The opacity is set to 100%, so the text behind it disappeared completely. If I reduce the opacity of the text appears in grey, but I want the text to stand out and to be black.

  Using the Horizontal type tool I tried to redo the text everywhere again. However, the text I typed (see the text layer name) was not appear.

  Then I went in the character window and clicked rest character, hoping that the text arise, but it still does not work. The blue fill layer covers the original text, but is there a way to keep this original text, always be black, in order to keep the blue background? Or redo the entire text again in a new layer (as I tried to do below) would make more sense?

  'Alum' badges refer to the word of the ancients (as far as I know) and have been allocated specifically to people who have reached certain levels in the old scoring system.  These aren't the badges you can win in the new system of gamification, they just received in the framework of recognition of what level people reached in the old system. for example, I have a badge 'Guru Alum' because I was a 'Guru' status under the old system.  If I had not reached this level before the changes then I would never be able to get this badge now.
