  iCloud is a synchronization system, not a storage system. If you delete photos/videos on your iPad, they are removed to iCloud. To increase the available space, go settings/iCloud/Photos and select optimize iPhone/iPad storage.

  These "Access denied" shortcuts appear under Libraries\Documents\My Documents in two administrative accounts on an old computer with Windows SP1, newly installed at home since an OEM Setup disk.  (Usual folders my pictures, my music and my videos also appear directly under Libraries\Pictures, Libraries\Music and Libraries\Videos and * * are available.)  One that is inexplicably locked administrators is C:\Documents and Settings.  These locked folders/shortcuts appear or not hidden files or system files are enabled in Windows Explorer/Tools/Folder Options/View tab.  These two seem to be driven by check the box "Refuse" to "the folder list / read data" under Properties/Security/Advanced/permissions/edit the permissions/all the world/change. These locked elements do not, however, appear in a Standard user account or no hidden files or system files are activated.  I have not tinkered with the NTFS permissions on the volume C:\.

  I also have a newer computer, installed in OEM WIndws 7 SP1 which does not show either [correction follows:] locked shortcuts or the C:\Documents and Settings folder.  Although locked shortcuts are probably not a problem, I used to look in the folder C:\Documents and Settings of an administrator account in Windows XP.

  Are these from manifestations of a deeper problem, or must they be ignored?  They can / should be corrected?  If so, how can it be done safely? -JCW2

  No, those are shortcuts of compatibility.  The 'Documents and Settings' for example, which is not really a folder.  It was at the time of Windows 98, but now it's just 'users' (to make it easier to translate, the shortest path and remove spaces that are annoying when writing scripts and coding).

  But some programs do not have a variable name, they want a real spelled exactly 'Documents and Settings' folder and these bad programs crash if they can't find it.  The same programs usually crash when they ran on a different language of comptuer, because obviously the name of the folder will not be stated this way in another language.

  So for compatibility, a redirection of folder called a junction is placed instead.  You see access denied, but if a program tries to 'write' in this folder, it will be automatically redirected to the proper place.

  You can hide these junctions of compatibility by defining your default folder Options View tab.

One thing I had a lot of trouble to determine is if I could change the volume of a music track discreetly of the audio in the video track itself? Maybe I'm missing something obvious, but I played a bit with the audio settings and found them a bit confused.

  Hello Quin,

  Welcome to Clip you can both edit your soundtrack and audio video independently.

  To adjust the volume for your soundtrack, press the icon of music on the top of your screen. Once in the menu of the soundtrack, move the Volume slider to the desired level.

  To adjust the volume of a video clip, select the item in the sequence, press the speaker on the bottom of your screen icon. From there you can mute or increase or decrease the volume using the volume slider.

Hatred Video editing software browser; mainly because, rather than provide its own space where ongoing projects can be stored - he's trying to hide (pseudonym) in the dark recesses of your PC. Now, after struggling way too many hours with a segway video 6 seconds, I made the mistake of the Organization of the files on MY OWN DAMN COMPUTER, and as an order prohibiting the strange cyber, I have to give up all contact with this clip and all my other video files FOR 6-8 months!  Additional sanction includes looking at thumbnails of my projects while being prevented from publishing, sharing, copying, engraving or enjoying them.

  .... Fortunately, (hey. You asked!) .... Media Player had gone ahead and had a few copies set aside for me. As soon as I know I can do some basic editing, storage, import, export, up-and-download without headaches, there "Bye-Bye browser B * tch!"

  Windows Media Player cannot convert or edit files. You can't view YouTube directly from Windows Media Player or Windows Media Center files. You will need to download a good third party software if you use does not help.

  No, both will try to use the speaker at the same time, perhaps there are apps on google game that allow this, but I don't think it's possible.

  The message you see seems to indicate that the music is protected against copying and that you can transfer a limited number of times.  This is common for music from many online stores.

  MP3 files can be problematic in Movie Maker...
  Best bet would be to convert the files to the. WMA
  format before you import into Movie Maker.

  There are many converters available on the net... the
  the following link is an example:

  Here's my problem: when I create a new iTunes library or import files, iTunes automatically much as home vids classifies and moves them all to a great home videos folder, not organized. I tried to uncheck copy files to iTunes Media folder when adding and held the iTUnes Dungeon Media folder, but it still happens. I understand that items purchased from the iTunes store can be hard wired as films, but I only have 2 of these. I'm fine with this limitation.

  How do I download iTunes to just leave things where they are and add as a file music or "video"?

  It may be useful to what is currently considered a home video as a movie rather reclassified.  Select one of these items in iTunes and click read.  In the Info window, go to the Options tab.  Change the media kind of Home Video movie.  It should now appear in your library of films in film, no video for the House.  If your other files 'movie' (existing) can be arranged as you wish (you want in music for some reason any), it should also work for this film, which was previously a "home video".

  If it works to make a home video, you can select all of your remaining home video movies at the same time, do a multi-point informationand change their media type affecting the same way (in one shot).

  I understand that you want videos you have on your MacBook Pro to add to your iPad.  Synchronization is a way to do it, but if you've never synced to your iTunes library before, you will get the message that you see.  The first thing I would say is that you back up your iPad if you do not already so.
